Dying To Have Known
In Dying To Have Known, filmmaker Steve Kroschel went on a 52-day journey to find evidence to the effectiveness of the Gerson Therapy, a long-suppressed natural cancer cure. His travels take him across both the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans, from upstate New York to San Diego to Alaska, from Japan and Holland to Spain and Mexico. Episode 383: Now Cancer Free After Deadly Lung Cancer Diagnosis
In late October of 2021, Jim Colvard of Orlando, Florida was diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma, the most common primary lung cancer in the United States and the leading cause of death. It has a strong association with smoking and Jim was a smoker. He had a few conventional treatments but he and his wife Dana Beardshear attribute the use of cannabis oil for effectively dealing with the cancer. He has had three scans with "no evidence of disease."
Research Proving Cannabis Kills Cancer Cells Safely has been Suppressed Since 1974
In 1974, the NIH (National Institutes of Health) funded the Medical College of Virginia to prove that cannabis hampers the immune system and destroys brain cells. This was research ammunition that the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), initiated under the Nixon administration to further justify throwing pot smokers into prison.
Unfortunately for the DEA and the war on drugs, the researchers came upon some interesting results with their lab rats. They discovered that cancer cells were getting destroyed, not healthy cells. The immune systems were enhanced, not impeded. Well, that was the end of that research.
Their funding was canceled at the behest of the DEA, and the research documents were destroyed.
