IGRC, Hezbollah huge strikes; Pentagon's 'final blow'; Iran mobilizes 1m; Handala targets Lockheed - IRAN WAR NEWS - 26-Mar-2026 (update 3)

12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump has started a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since the opening salvo slaughtered a bunch of school girls. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming munitions and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic or multi-warhead missiles. Israel and the Gulf states are running out of interceptors. Their reporting of incoming missiles/drones being "intercepted" are largely lies. The damage to Israel is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden for people to report on the damage inflicted by Iran, many of which have been arrested. This is why we're not getting a lot of visuals from inside Israel or the Gulf states.

Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionist cockroaches have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb the US/Israel drops on their people, their leaders and their infrastructure. Meanwhile, Iran controls shipping in the Hormuz Strait and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will the US and/or Israel deploy nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.

Stay tuned.

From needing to no longer needing the Strait of Hormuz 'at all': Trump - YouTube

During a recent press exchange, US President Donald Trump retracted from his own repeated threats on "needing" the Strait of Hormuz, saying the coalition of warships' efforts to protect tankers as something that "should have been up here a long time ago."

Trump suddenly said the US "doesn't need the Hormuz Strait", claiming, "We have so much oil. Our country is not affected by this. We have more. We have twice the amount of oil as Saudi Arabia or Russia."

Trump's comments are yet again another flip in a loop of military threats to retraction, reinforcing a pattern in which US-Israeli war on Iran "objectives" and narratives shift rapidly.

Mediators say Iran has not requested pause on energy-site strikes: Report | Middle East Eye

Iran has not requested a 10-day pause on strikes on its energy plants and has yet to deliver a final response to a 15-point plan to end the war, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing peace talk mediators.

Earlier on Thursday, US President Donald Trump said he was pausing attacks on Iran's energy plants for 10 days at what he cast as the Iranian government's request, and said talks with Tehran were going "very well."

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on Mar. 26

Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.

On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.

Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 82 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.

Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.

Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.

Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on March 26:

True Promise 4, Wave 83: Iran pounds US, Israeli assets with advanced missiles, drones

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced the execution of wave 83 of Operation True Promise 4 in the early hours of Friday, targeting key American and Israeli military installations across the region with missiles and drones.

According to a statement from the IRGC's Public Relations, the operation was dedicated to the "warm-hearted people of the southern strip of the country in the north of the ever-Persian Gulf" and was conducted under the blessed code "Ya Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS)."

The strikes targeted a range of strategic assets belonging to American and Zionist forces.

Among the targets were storage tanks and the oil depot in Ashdod, a military personnel site in the Modi'in settlement, and a US military information exchange center in the region.

The IRGC also struck American military bases at Al-Dhafra and Al-Udeiri, along with maintenance and storage hangars for transport aircraft and drones at Ali Al-Salem Air Base.

Additional targets include fuel tanks for jets and fighter aircraft of American forces, as well as the maintenance and repair hangar for the Patriot missile system at Sheikh Isa Base.

The IRGC statement noted that the operation employed a combination of advanced weaponry, including long-range and medium-range systems, solid and liquid fuel missiles, precision-strike and multi-warhead capabilities, as well as suicide and loitering drones.

IRGC hits another invading US warplane, an F-18, in Iran's airspace

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that it successfully targeted another invading US warplane in Iranian airspace.

The F-18 fighter jet is the fourth US warplane Iran has successfully targeted since February 28, when the US and the Israeli regime launched their war of aggression against Iran.

Israel's Ben Gurion Airport halts all operations amid Iranian missile barrages

Operations at Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport have come to a complete halt as Iranian missiles rain down on the occupied territories in retaliation for the war of aggression against the Islamic Republic.

According to Hebrew-language media outlets, the Iranian Armed Forces have launched a fresh wave of missiles directed at various Israeli positions, effectively shutting down the airport, located 20 kilometers (12 miles) southeast of Tel Aviv.

The volley of Iranian projectiles actiated siren systems throughout the occupied lands, and residents were ordered to take refuge in bomb shelters.

There are reports that a missile struck an open area near a power plant in the town of al-Khazirah, in the northern part of the Israeli-occupied lands.

Another wave of Iranian missiles targeted locations in the central occupied territories. Sirens sounded in the area to warn of the incoming missiles.

According to Israeli Army radio, Iranian missile units launched four separate rounds of attacks within a span of 40 minutes.

Merkava massacre: Hezbollah destroys nearly 100 Israeli tanks-$6mn each-in weeks

Hezbollah resistance fighters destroyed at least 21 Israeli military Merkava tanks across southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine over 24 hours on Wednesday, in what is being described as a new "Merkava massacre."

By Thursday morning, the group reported achieving direct hits on at least 20 more Merkava tanks, bringing the total number of Merkava tanks taken out since March 2 to at least 73.

On Thursday, dozens more Merkava tanks were successfully targeted and destroyed by Hezbollah fighters, taking the total number close to 100, as per informed sources.

As per details released by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the latest round of strikes on Thursday targeted Merkava tanks across multiple locations.

In Debel, three tanks were struck with guided missiles. In Al-Qantara, strikes hit Merkava tanks near the technical school, the vocational school, the reservoir, and the water tank, while three more were struck using attack drones.

In Taybeh, nearly a dozen Merkava tanks were hit with guided missiles. In Deir Siryan, four tanks were struck near the pond, and another was hit on the Taybeh-Al-Qantara road.

Iran's Army drones strike sensitive locations in strategic Haifa port

Iran's Army says it has targeted sensitive locations in Israel's strategic Haifa port with drones, almost four weeks after a US-Israeli military coalition began an unprovoked war of aggression against the Islamic Republic.

In its 44th statement, the Army said on Thursday that it launched a massive drone attack against a number of sensitive and strategic sites in the northern port city of Haifa on Wednesday night.

The aerial strike, it said, was carried out in response to the US-Israeli enemy's claim that Iran's missile and drone capabilities have been significantly diminished.

The Army's operations are separate from more than 80 waves of retaliatory strikes carried out by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), using ballistic missiles and drones, on various US targets in the region and military centers in Israeli occupied territories under Operation True Promise 4.

"The center for manufacturing and maintenance of various military vessels of the Zionist regime in the eastern Mediterranean Sea that played a key and sensitive role in logistics for the regime's Navy as well as the huge fuel storage facilities for warplanes in Haifa port were, among others, targeted in the recent drone attack by the Islamic Republic's Armed forces," the Army's statement said.

Iranian strikes disrupt US bases in West Asia - Yemen Press Agency

WAHINGTON, March 27 (YPA) - The recent Iranian attacks have disabled most of the 13 U.S. military bases in West Asia, rendering them largely inoperable.

According to the New York Times's report, the U.S. bases in Kuwait-due to their proximity to Iran-sustained heavy damage. An attack targeting the port of Shuaibiya Port killed six U.S. soldiers and destroyed the Army Tactical Operations Center.

The report added that Iranian drones and missiles damaged aircraft hangars at Ali Al-Salem Air Base, along with fuel and maintenance facilities at Camp Buehring.

In Qatar, the early warning radar system at Al Udeid Air Base was reportedly destroyed, while in Bahrain, the headquarters of the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet was targeted.

Meanwhile, Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia sustained damage to communications equipment and several refueling aircraft, reflecting the scale of the strikes and their significant impact on U.S. military infrastructure in the region.

Netanyahus spokesperson resigns after leaked audio reveals scathing criticism

The spokesperson for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has resigned following his scathing and scornful criticism of the premier, according to Hebrew media.

The resignation of Ziv Agmon came following the release of audio recordings in which he sharply criticized the premier, his family, and his right-wing regime, reports said on Thursday.

In the recordings, he reportedly held Netanyahu responsible for the October 7 failure and asserted that the beleaguered prime minister should have stepped away from politics in the aftermath of the historic Hamas-led operation.

According to Channel 12 news, which made the damning revelations on Tuesday, Agmon decried Netanyahu as "old" and said he was "finished" after the events of October 7, 2023.

According to reports, the spokesperson also slammed Netanyahu for tying the regime's fate to his own personal political survival, adding that the prime minister's political career had effectively reached its end.

The leaked remarks have sparked political fallout, though further details regarding the timing of the resignation and any official statements from Netanyahu's office have not been released.

It adds to mounting internal pressures facing Netanyahu's regime amid unpopular multi-front wars, including against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The war against Iran was launched on February 28 as Tehran was engaged in indirect nuclear talks with Washington, which triggered massive and powerful Iranian retaliation, forcing settlers to hide in underground shelters.

Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant comes under attack again

Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant has once again come under attack as the United States and Israel continue their aggression against the Islamic Republic.

According to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, a projectile struck the facility around 21:08 on Tuesday, marking an alarming escalation in the US-Israeli terrorism against Iran's civilian infrastructure.

The latest incident follows a previous attack on the plant on March 5, raising significant concerns over the dire consequences of such a criminal action.

A-10 Thunderbolt II Jets And AH-64 Apache Helicopters Join U.S. Operations Over Iran

The United States military has escalated operations in the Strait of Hormuz, with Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announcing on March 26 that A-10 Thunderbolt II jets and AH-64 Apache helicopters are now launching strikes against the Islamic Republic.

Speaking after attending a cabinet meeting at the White House, Hegseth said that A-10s and AH-64s have been flying freely at will throughout Iranian airspace.

"See, you only send these slow, low-flying, close-air support platforms when the enemy has no meaningful air defenses left. [Therefore], their presence is proof that Iran's air defenses are gone, their command and control is shattered, and their top leaders [are] hiding in underground bunkers," Hegseth said, shortly after reporting that more than 150 Iranian navy vessels have been sunk since the start of the war on the Islamic Republic.

Burns & punctured legs: Palestinian toddler tortured by Israeli occupation soldiers - YouTube

A mother in Gaza recounted the horrific details of her one-year-old son, who was subjected to severe abuse after being detained by Israeli soldiers.

The mother said occupation soldiers at the "Yellow Line" opened fire at her husband and son, before detaining them both him. Hours later, the child was returned through the Red Cross, "yellow, pale, and exhausted," she said, only for doctors at Al-Aqsa Hospital to confirm signs of torture, including burns from cigarette butts and puncture wounds.

The family said the child was abused to pressure the father, who remains in detention.

Iran Arms Basij Volunteers With Man-Portable Air Defense Systems As It Mobilizes One Million (Photos)

Iran has armed Basij volunteers with advanced man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), according to photos that emerged on social networks on March 26.

The Basij, completely made up of volunteers, is one of the five branches of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The paramilitary force is reported to have more than 25 million reservists, with at least 600,000 available for immediate call-up.

Since the start of the American-Israeli war on Iran, multiple headquarters, positions and even checkpoints of the Basij have been struck. Nevertheless, it has been reported that the force broke into tens of thousands of cells and spread all over the Islamic Republic.

The MANPADS distributed to Basij volunteers - at least the ones seen in the latest photos - have been identified as the Misagh-3, an Iranian copy of the Chinese QW-18.

The missile, which is equipped with a dual-band passive infrared seeker, has an engagement range of five kilometers with a flight ceiling of up to four kilometers.

It is believed that the American fighter jet that was hit over the port city of Chabahar in the southern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan on March 25 - reportedly an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet - was targeted with a Misagh-3, possibly even fired by a cell of the Basij.

A report by CNN from March 25 also revealed that Iran has deployed MANPADs on Kharg Island, its most critical maritime oil export hub.

The U.S. has been weighing using troops to seize the tiny island in the northeastern Persian Gulf as leverage over the Iranians to coerce them to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The deployment of MANPADS like Misagh-3 would make an assault on the island extremely risky, especially for helicopters attempting to land troops or even fighter jets providing close air support.

Arming Basij volunteers with advanced weapons like MANPADS indicate that Iran is taking the threat of a U.S. ground operation in Kharg, or elsewhere, very seriously, and preparing to fight with full force.

In fact, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency revealed on March 26 that more than a million troops have been already mobilized for a ground battle. A military source also told the agency that there has been a "massive" influx of requests from Iranian youth towards the Basij, the IRGC and the regular military.

Iran's military: US forces in region have collapsed, hiding in hotels

Iran's military is closely monitoring US forces across the region, the senior spokesman for Iran's Armed Forces says, asserting that the American military structure in West Asia has "collapsed in the shortest possible time."

In a wide-ranging interview with the Iranian news agency IRNA, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi expressed strong criticism of US military adventurism in the region, while highlighting the Iranian response to ongoing hostilities.

He said that US personnel are now forced to abandon certain military bases and take refuge in civilian hotels, a move that he condemned as an attempt by the US to use civilian structures for military cover.

Israeli army chief says his forces are on brink of internal collapse amid war against Iran

Tehran responds to the US proposal to stop war - Yemen Press Agency

TEHRAN, March 26 (YPA) - Iran has delivered its response to a 15-point U.S. proposal through intermediaries, Tasnim News Agency reported on Thursday, citing an informed source, adding that Tehran is now awaiting the other party's reply.

According to the source, Iran emphasized in its response the need to halt aggression and targeted assassinations, establish guarantees preventing any future recurrence of war, and ensure the payment of compensation as part of any potential settlement.

Meanwhile, Reuters quoted a senior Iranian official as describing the proposal-reportedly conveyed via Pakistan-as "one-sided and unfair," failing to meet even the minimum conditions required for success.

The official added that Iran's initial response reflects clear reservations about the initiative, stressing that no serious groundwork has yet been laid for negotiations and that the proposed framework for talks appears unrealistic at this stage.

Pentagon getting ready for huge 'final blow' in Iran war: Report - Middle East Monitor

The Pentagon is preparing military options for a "final blow" in the Iran war, involving the use of ground forces and massive bombing, according to a report by Axios, citing two US officials and two sources with knowledge of the matter, Anadolu reports.

According to the report, a "dramatic military escalation" is expected if there is no progress in talks between Tehran and Washington.

The sources said that options such as invading the strategically important islands of Kharg, Larak, Abu Musa, and others, along with a blockade of ships carrying Iranian oil east of the Strait of Hormuz, are on the table.

The report stated that some US officials believe that a "show of overwhelming force" to end the conflicts would give the US greater leverage in negotiations.

The Hormuz Trap: Where Iran Turns US Power Into Vulnerability - 21st Century Wire

For weeks, Western media have been selling audiences a familiar fantasy. Viewers are told the United States is preparing a decisive "battle for the Strait of Hormuz" in which elite Marines, airborne units and special forces (SOF) will smash Iranian defenses, escort tankers through and restore "freedom of navigation." The graphics are slick, the talking points rehearsed. Lost in this spectacle is a harder reality in which the US-Israel strategy is not a clean frontal victory in the Strait but a multi‑front pressure campaign designed to stretch Iran everywhere at once.

Tehran, for its part, has spent decades preparing to turn that campaign into a mutual attrition trap, not a replay of "shock and awe." The real centre of gravity in this war is not only a narrow shipping lane but the web of oil routes, food flows and trade corridors that bind Iran and its neighbours into the global economy.

Pepe Escobar: New World Busy Being Born While Old One is Busy Dying

The 15-point plan that Team Trump presented to Iran is already D.O.A.

It's an imposed capitulation: a surrender document disguised as "negotiation".

The non-plan plan - imposing demands while begging for a one-month ceasefire - includes zero uranium enrichment on Iranian soil; full dismantlement of Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow installations; all enriched uranium out of Iran; the missile program extremely restricted; no funding for Hezbollah, Ansarallah and Iraqi militias; the Strait of Hormuz totally opened.

All that in exchange for a vague "cancelling the threat of reimposing sanctions".

The only realistic Iranian response to this accumulated wishful thinking might be Mr. Khorramshahr-4 showering his business card across selected targets - consistent with leveraging economic and military deterrence to dictate the real terms.

And the real terms are harsh:

Closure of ALL US military bases in the Gulf; guarantee of no more wars; end of the war on Hezbollah; lifting of ALL sanctions; war damage reparations; a new order in the Strait of Hormuz (already in effect: collecting fees just like Egypt in Suez); missile program intact.

Conclusion: the infernal escalation machine keeps rolling.

Why Donald Trump Just Can't Stop Going to War - Antiwar.com

After protests across Iran turned deadly in January, President Donald Trump promised Iranians that "help is on the way." On February 28th, the U.S. and Israel launched what immediately became a devastating war on Iran. American and Israeli warplanes began dropping bombs on a country of some 93 million people. Trump soon put out a video address, telling Iranians that "the hour of your freedom is at hand." Around the time that video appeared, Iranians in the city of Minab were sorting through the corpses of more than 165 people killed in an airstrike on an elementary school for girls.

He keeps saying 'obliterated.' The missiles keep flying. - Tehran Times

TEHRAN - U.S. President Donald Trump stood before the world to announce the commencement of the U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran on February 28, 2026, a campaign he promised would "obliterate" the military infrastructure of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a video filled with characteristic hyperbole, he vowed to raze the Iranian missile industry and ensure that the nation's capacity to project power was finished "within a month or less."

By March 7, aboard Air Force One, Trump was already declaring mission accomplished, telling reporters that the U.S. and Israel had "wiped out Iran's navy, air force and missile capability" and that the military was "practically inexistent."

He specifically boasted that 82% of launchers were "killed" and launches were down 90%.

However, as the sirens continue to wail across Tel Aviv and Haifa, it has become undeniable that Trump's victory exists only on Truth Social.

Hezbollah fires record 85 strikes in a day, targets Israeli war ministry with precision missiles

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out dozens of rocket, missile, and drone strikes against Israeli military installations deep inside the occupied territories within the past 24 hours, setting a new record in the course of retaliatory operations against the Tel Aviv regime.

According to Lebanese media outlets, the resistance fighters engaged in direct confrontations with Israeli troops across the towns of Qouzah, Taybeh, Debl, Naqoura, Khiam, Mays al-Jabal, Maroun al-Ras, Alma al-Shaab, and the Taybeh-Qantara axis.

The fierce clashes resulted in the targeting of Israeli recovery units, Merkava battle tanks, Hummers, and D9 bulldozers.

Hezbollah says 2 ambushes destroyed 10 Israeli Merkava tanks - Middle East Monitor

Hezbollah has released details of what it described as a complex, well-planned ambush carried out by its forces on the Taybeh-Qantara axis in southern Lebanon, which it says resulted in the destruction of 10 Israeli Merkava tanks.

In a statement, the group's operations room said Israeli forces had sent a remotely controlled bulldozer on Tuesday between the Mhaysibat area in Taybeh and the town of Qantara to scout Hezbollah positions. It said the vehicle was monitored and allowed to proceed in order to lure Israeli forces into an ambush.

The statement added that at 18:50 on Wednesday, an Israeli armoured unit advanced in a column formation from Mhaysibat towards Qantara in preparation to take control of the town. When the vehicles entered the ambush zone, Hezbollah fighters fired guided missiles at the central unit, consisting of four Merkava tanks and a D9 bulldozer, which the group said were completely destroyed.

It said that as a rear unit of four Merkava tanks attempted to deploy a heavy smoke screen to conceal its position, it was also hit by guided missiles, destroying its combat readiness.

At the same time, Hezbollah said its artillery units targeted Israeli command positions in the Taybeh project area, Rab Thalathin and Oudaiseh, as well as reinforcements sent to evacuate casualties.

According to the statement, a forward unit tried to continue advancing towards the entrance of Qantara but was met with direct missile fire. Hezbollah said one D9 bulldozer and two Merkava tanks were destroyed, forcing Israeli soldiers to abandon the remaining vehicles and withdraw on foot towards Mhaysibat while attempting to evacuate the wounded.

The group said the operation had thwarted the Israeli advance and inflicted losses of 10 tanks and two D9 bulldozers. It added that this brought the total number of Israeli tanks it claims to have destroyed over 48 hours to 18, following a similar ambush two days earlier on the Taybeh-Deir Seryan axis, which it said destroyed eight Merkava tanks.

Iran controls Strait of Hormuz, dictates terms of war and peace as US excursion backfires

While the US and Israel started the new war in West Asia, it is Israel and Iran who, with clarity on their war objectives, are now pitted against one another.

Given this, two things are likely. One, notwithstanding President Donald Trump's latest claim of negotiations, the war will not end anytime soon. Instead, it will escalate.

And two, since the world is multipolar, the regional geopolitics will no longer be the same.

Has Trump Let Netanyahu Destroy America? -

12bytes: Destroying the US is exactly the goal. This is a religious war for Israel.

Donald Trump's reelection as President was a hopeful development for Americans. Obama and Biden had dismantled America with open borders and DEI. Millions of people were walking into the country claiming health, food, and housing benefits. Merit was cast aside, and a system of race and gender privileges had taken the place of merit and equality under law. White heterosexual males had become second class citizens.

Trump's win was convincing. He found himself with a majority of the Supreme Court. Republicans had the House and Senate, although by narrow margins. AI and data centers were invigorating the economy. Trump pardoned the wrongfully convicted Jan 6 "insurrectionists." The Justice Department was pursuing the Democrat officials who had weaponized law and committed felonies. The border was being closed. It looked like America would be put back on its feet.

But before the chance at renewal could be set in stone, Netanyahu and the Zionist Lobby intervened. Trump was moved from MAGA to MIGA.
