I don't know why Iran agreed to the ceasefire, but it did. Iranian leaders, in my opinion, are frighteningly naive. Some apparently believe that they can achieve a legitimate negotiated deal with Donald Trump. I suggest the Ayatollah and IRGC commanders read Donald Trump's Truth Social posting regarding Bibi Netanyahu (see image above). Despite Trump's temper tantrum on Monday - when he dropped the F-bomb complaining about the ignorance of Iran and Israel - he still has his lips firmly planted on Bibi's backside and will likely look for a pretext to continue the war with Iran.

In either case, this is more nukes than another country we're routinely told to be terrified of: North Korea, which the Center estimates possesses "20 to 30  possibly assembled warheads."

Yes, the SURFACE structures were severely damaged, but the implication by Trump and the CIA is that Iran's entire nuclear program was "obliterated" (Trump) or "severely damaged" (CIA) and this is bullshit. Iran secured its uranium before the strikes and--and this is key--no one is reporting any evidence of radiation at any of the three sites so far as i'm aware. Neither the U.S. government nor the CIA has produced an iota of creditable evidence that any damage was done to Iran's centrifuges, of which there are many, located in different places, and all of them seem to be very well protected, deep underground, under rock, and out of the reach of any bomb the U.S. possesses.

The corrupt IAEA, which is in the pockets of the U.S. and Israel. has essentially been spying on Iran and making information available to Israel and, presumably, the U.S.. Iran would be foolish to allow this to continue. This decision by Iran is further evidence that the Israel-U.S. hostilities toward Iran had nothing to do with an alleged nuclear weapons program given that both countries now know less about Iran's nuclear stockpile than they did before they bombed Iran and this was foreseeable.

European leaders exerted pressure on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to issue a negative assessment of Iran, and so they "bear a share of the blame" for Israel's aggression, Lavrov said at the Primakov Forums meeting in Moscow on Tuesday.
"The Europeans have taken a purely neocolonial position... They were actively preparing Grossi so that he would put the most ambiguously negative formulations into his report," he said.
The UK, France, Germany, and later, the US ran with the IAEA assessment and pushed a resolution through the IAEA Board of Governors that condemned Iran for allegedly violating the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, he added.
Based on Grossi's politically-motivated reports, the IAEA Board of Governors passed an anti-Iran resolution on June 12, claiming that the country is in breach of its nuclear obligations, despite Iran saying its uranium enrichment program is entirely peaceful.

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Three men convicted of spying for the Zionist regime's Mossad spy agency and smuggling assassination equipment into Iran were hanged in the country's northwestern city of Orumiyeh on Wednesday.
Edris Aali, Azad Shojaee, and Rasoul Ahmad were executed on Wednesday morning after being convicted of muharebeh (waging war against God) and corruption on earth through cooperation with the foreign governments and espionage for the Zionist regime.
They received capital punishment after conviction for smuggling equipment into Iran intended for use in the assassination of figures.
