Israel hit hard (again); Iran killing it in meme war; US/Israel butchering civilians, kids; UAE threatens to ... LOL, never mind! - IRAN WAR NEWS - 1-Apr-2026 (update 4)

12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump initiated a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since 165 school girls were slaughtered by 2 US Tomahawk missiles during the opening salvos. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming munitions and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic and multi-warhead missiles. Israel and the Gulf states are running out of interceptors. Their reporting of incoming missiles/drones being "intercepted" are largely lies. The damage to Israel is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing Israeli's with a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden to report on the damage inflicted by Iran, many of which have been arrested. Organizations publishing satellite imagery of damage to Israel and US bases are being prevented from doing so.
Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionists have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb the US/Israel drops on their people, their leaders and their infrastructure. Meanwhile, Iran controls shipping in the Hormuz Strait, a primary shipping lane of global importance, and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will the US and/or Israel deploy nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.
Stay tuned.
UPDATE 4
Trump admits Iran war was only at behest of 'allies', gives no withdrawal timeline | Middle East Eye
US President Donald Trump revealed on Wednesday that the US only launched its war on Iran to assist its partners in the region, a statement that likely references a long-held Israeli bid for Washington to attack Tehran.
The remarks echo those of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who suggested in the early days of the war that Israel's concerns about Iran drove the US into action. The administration later veered away from that message.
"We're now totally independent of the Middle East, and yet, we are there to help," Trump said in a scripted evening address in reference to US energy production.
"We don't have to be there. We don't need their oil. We don't need anything they have. We're there to help our allies."
Countries should show 'courage' and seize Hormuz Strait, Trump urges | Middle East Eye
US President Donald Trump in his address said countries that receive oil through the Strait of Hormuz should show "courage" and seize the key waterway.
"Just take it, protect it, use it for yourselves," he said.
Over a month since Israel and the US began their attack on Iran, Trump exclaims that Tehran is "really no longer a threat".
The US president concluded his statement by stressing that the war is already won and almost over, saying: "We are on the cusp of ending Iran sinister threat to America and the world."

Trump vows to bring Iran back to 'Stone Ages' | Middle East Eye
US President Donald Trump said in a televised address to the nation said that the war on Iran has left it "decimated".
"Tonight Iran's navy is gone, their air force is in ruins, their leaders, most of them... are now dead," he said.
"Their ability to launch missiles and drones is dramatically curtailed, and their weapons factories and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces - very few of them left," he added.
The US president also said that Iran will be hit "extremely hard over the next two to three weeks," vowing to bring it back to the "Stone Ages".
12bytes: Blah blah blah. Meanwhile Iran continues to knock your Zionist dick into the dirt. He's desperate to find a way out but as long as Israel is in charge, there is no way out.

A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) highlights the abysmal conditions that are faced by Zionist settlers as a result of Iran's decisive retaliation against unprovoked aggression triggered by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC's Aerospace Force, made the remarks in a Hebrew-language post on X on Wednesday.
"Repeated sirens and shaking inside shelters' narrow and dark basements as Iran rains down missiles; this was part of Netanyahu's holiday gift to the Zionists," he wrote on the eve of the Passover holiday.

IRAN DE-DOLLARIZES STRAIT OF HORMUZ WITH TOLLS IN YUAN: U.S. DESPERATE FOR AN OFF-RAMP | Carl Zha
Reports say the Trump Admin is desperate for an off-ramp from the war in Iran it just started... and willing to drop the demand for Tehran to remove restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz. This, as the U.S. also continues to move toward reported plans for a "special ops" ground invasion that would severely escalate the conflict.
Carl Zha, a geopolitical analyst and Host of the Silk & Steel Podcast, noted that the Trump's Admin desperation is showing in a number of ways, as it removes oil sanctions on Russia AND Iran, and as its vassal states around the world see the start of a fuel crisis.
But Iran isn't budging, and it is instead implementing a toll in order for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, in Iranian territorial waters, that is paid in Chinese Yuan... de-dollarizing the vital waterway for oil trade.

Discussion covers the strategic coordination among Axis of Resistance forces across Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran, and how attrition has weakened Israeli air superiority and intelligence capabilities. The conversation analyzes the fragile military posture of Gulf states like UAE and Saudi Arabia, reliant on foreign mercenaries and advanced weaponry they cannot independently operate. It also addresses the Lebanese government's declining legitimacy amid withdrawal orders from frontline villages, the humanitarian crisis in the West Bank, and the potential for regional border transformations if land invasions occur. The interview warns that any ground war against Iran could trigger multi-front responses, fundamentally reshaping Middle East power dynamics.

U.S. RUNNING OUT OF TARGETS, TERRORIZING CIVILIANS AS IRAN DECIMATES MILITARY SITES | Setareh Sadeqi
The U.S. and Israel are continuing to terrorize the Iranian people for refusing to overthrow their government and embrace their oppressors. Recent bombings have targeted residential neighborhoods, religious sites, schools, hospitals and cancer treatment centers, etc. An endless list of war crimes "made in the USA."
Dr. Setareh Sadeqi, of the University of Tehran, noted that overnight bombings in her city of Isfahan likely used 2,000 lb. "Bunker Buster" bombs that both terrorized the civilians and targeted the same sites of the U.S. and Israel have tried to hit before, as they seem to be "running out of targets."
She also said the Iranian are continuing about their daily lives in every way possible, in yet another form of resistance, as they continue to stand for their nation in nightly rallies that see million of people taking to the streets.

Collapsing Empire: The Resistance Disarms Israel
As the criminal Zionist-American war on Iran enters its second month, the conflict has proven so ruinous for the aggressors that dire alarm is being widely sounded. Embarrassing failure to subdue the Islamic Republic from the air has raised the prospect of a US ground operation of some kind, widely perceived as a suicide mission. Washington has also burned through over 850 Tomahawk missiles and 1,000 air-defense interceptors, at a rate the Pentagon finds "alarming". In the process, Israel is rapidly approaching total disarmament.
True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on April 1
Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.
On Tuesday, April 1, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.
Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 89 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.
Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.
Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.
Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on April 1:

Iran on Wednesday said that US-Israeli attacks "amount to genocide," accusing both countries of carrying out systematic strikes on civilian infrastructure, Anadolu reports.
In a statement posted on the US social media company X, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said the attacks are part of a broader pattern of unlawful warfare against Iran.
"This is not an isolated act of cruelty - it is part of a systematic and brutal pattern of illegal warfare against Iran," he said.
He added that more than 600 schools and educational centers have been deliberately targeted over the past 33 days, citing examples of the Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab and the Lamerd Sports Hall.
"The term 'war crime' falls far short of adequately describing these atrocities," Baqaei said.
"Given the explicit rhetoric of hostility toward Iranians (as a nation) expressed by U.S./Israeli officials, these crimes amount to genocide," he added.

TEHRAN, April 01 (YPA) - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday significant casualties among US forces following a series of military strikes targeting locations in the UAE and Bahrain, as part of what it described as the 89th wave of Operation " True Promise 4."
In the UAE, a statement from the IRGC's Public Relations office confirmed the death of 37 US officers following an attack on a secret gathering site yesterday, noting that a large number of wounded were transported to local hospitals.
In Bahrain, the statement reported that a significant number of senior US Naval Unit officers were injured after a drone and ballistic missile strike targeted a site outside the Fifth Fleet's perimeter in Manama. The injured were subsequently moved to city hospitals for treatment.
The IRGC specified that its naval forces conducted five large-scale operations using a combination of ballistic missiles, "Qadir" cruise missiles, and suicide drones. The attacks reportedly included the destruction of two early-warning radar systems in the UAE, the targeting of a "Chinook" helicopter maintenance center at the Al-Udeiri base, a strike on an Israeli-linked oil tanker in the Gulf, and an engagement with the "Abraham Lincoln" carrier strike group in the Indian Ocean.

Gulf nation could join fight against Iran - WSJ - RT World News
12bytes: I generally order articles in order of their perceived importance, but i figured, what the hell, why not kick it off off with a bit of humor this time :)
The United Arab Emirates is getting ready to become the first Gulf nation to commit its military to the US-Israeli war against Iran, the Wall Street Journal has reported, citing Arab officials.
Since the start of the conflict a month ago, the UAE has been hit by some 2,500 Iranian missiles and drones, more than any other country in the region, including Israel. With the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed due to the fighting, the country's oil output has been reduced by more than half, while stock markets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi have lost around $120 billion in value.
The Emirates wants the Strait of Hormuz unblocked for oil trade so badly that it is ready to assist the US militarily in doing so, the WSJ said in an article on Tuesday.
12bytes: Problem #1: Trump essentially said, 'if you want the oil, go get it yourself!'. Somehow or other, even Trumpstein managed to figure out that his 'greatest Navy in the world' doesn't necessarily want more holes in its boats than was installed at the factory, therefore they're smartly staying the hell out of range of Iran's missiles for the most part, so i'm not seeing how the US is going help the UAE do squat.
Problem #2: UAE doesn't have anything to offer of any real significance. Their air defenses have become scrap metal and their mobile missile launchers, if there's any left, can't reach beyond ~300 mi.. They might still have some planes without holes in them, including the F-16E, but i'm not sure they have anyone to fly them (apparently they buy really expensive stuff from the US in return for kickbacks rather than actual defense). Their Navy also appears to be rather anemic. Lastly, everything they do have is apparently exposed to Iran's missiles/drones.

Trump claims Iran's 'new regime president' asked for a ceasefire | Middle East Eye
US President Donald Trump has claimed in a social media post that "Iran's new regime president" asked for a ceasefire.
Ahead of a television address tonight, Trump said that the US "will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages!!!"
Iran's IRGC said shortly after that the Strait is "firmly and dominantly" under its control and "will not be opened to the enemies of this nation by the ridiculous displays of the US President".
While Trump has made repeated claims that US-Israeli attacks on Iran have prompted "regime change", Masoud Pezeshkian remains the Iranian president, a role he has served since 2024.

According to the IRGC Public Relations Department, strikes targeted military objectives and terrorist forces of the Zionist regime in Eilat, Tel Aviv, and Bnei Brak, with local sources reporting heavy Zionist casualties.
In continuation of the operation, a hideout of American terrorist army forces in Bahrain, where 80 personnel were stationed, was precisely targeted, said the statement.
Additionally, a helicopter group of the US army at the Al-Udayri base was struck by ballistic missiles, resulting in the destruction of one helicopter and severe damage to others, it added.
The statement said the latest wave of attacks will continue with further strikes today.

Iran's Army: Retaliatory strikes target AWACS at Tel Aviv airport, tankers, US bases
In a fresh wave of retaliatory airstrikes, Iran's Army targeted US AWACS and refueling aircraft stationed at Tel Aviv airport, along with its radar and electronic warfare sites in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In a statement on Wednesday, the Army said the attacks came in response to the brutal air assaults by "the Zionist regime and the criminal United States" against the country, which continue to target residential and civilian areas.
"Since dawn today," it said, the Armed Forces have "targeted with drone strikes the US AWACS and refueling aircraft stationed at Ben Gurion Airport, as well as radar sites for detecting and tracking missiles and combat drones, and electronic warfare sites used to counter combat drones in the UAE."
According to the statement, powerful Arash-2 drones with a flight range of 2,000 kilometers were used in this wave of attacks.
Iranian retaliatory strikes cripple US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, redraw Persian Gulf power map
The high-precision, coordinated, and destructive retaliatory strikes by the Iranian Armed Forces against key targets in the Persian Gulf in recent weeks, particularly the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain, have underscored the decisive leverage Iran now holds in the region.
Headquartered in Manama, the Fifth Fleet base has long been considered a "floating fortress." Yet recent Iranian operations have revealed it as one of the most vulnerable strategic nodes, representing a critical weakness in American military planning when faced with Iran's precise, layered, and asymmetric deterrence doctrine.
As part of Operation True Promise 4, Iran's missile and drone strikes were launched in response to the unprovoked and illegal US-Israeli aggression against Iranian territory.
The strikes repeatedly targeted the Fifth Fleet's headquarters in the Bandar Mina region, demonstrating that Iran not only has the capability to reach this strategic base but has also pioneered a new model of asymmetric warfare.
Precision ballistic missiles and Shahed-136 drones were employed to neutralize American defensive measures, radar systems, and communication networks, effectively paralyzing the base's operational capacity.
The strategic impact of these strikes, beginning February 28, has been verified through satellite imagery and videos showing direct hits on radomes and large-scale explosions across the compound. The operations send a clear message to Washington and its allies: the Persian Gulf can no longer be treated as an American backyard.
Hebrew media confirms 14 settlers injured east of Tel Aviv - Yemen Press Agency

Yemen hits sensitive Israeli targets in third strike since joining Iran-led resistance
Yemeni armed forces have conducted their third round of strikes against Israeli targets in the occupied territories, targeting sensitive locations.
"With Allah's help and reliance upon Allah, we carried out the third military operation in the 'Holy Jihad Battle,' targeting sensitive Israeli enemy targets in the southern occupied Palestine with a barrage of ballistic missiles," they said in a statement Wednesday.
Hezbollah hits Israeli bases with drones, rockets as Netanyahu unveils 'Greater Israel' scheme
Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has launched a series of drone and rocket attacks on Israeli military positions and settlements in northern occupied lands, while the Lebanese army slammed Israel for continuing strikes "without distinction" between military personnel and civilians.
In a statement on Tuesday, Hezbollah said it had targeted the Amiad base, north of the Sea of Galilee, with a group of "suicide drones," as air raid sirens sounded across several areas in northern occupied lands.
Israeli media reported that warning sirens were activated in Misgav Am, Kiryat Shmona, and other settlements in the Galilee Panhandle, amid fears of drone infiltration.
Lebanese media also reported the passage of drones from Lebanon into northern occupied lands and the activation of alarms in the Upper Galilee.
The group said it also targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles at the Misgav Am position with rockets, while additional warning sirens were reported in Yir'on in the western Galilee.
At the same time, the Lebanese Armed Forces said they were carrying out repositioning and redeployment operations in southern border towns facing Israeli incursions.

Iran continues to produce, upgrade ballistic missiles at strategic sites: Report
The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) reported that production capacity at strategic sites is steadily increasing, alongside the continued deployment of ballistic missile launchers.
According to the report, the "Etemad" missile is an upgraded version of the "Emad," with improvements derived from operational experience gained during the "True Promise" missions.
The report also highlighted significant advancements in guidance systems, designed to evade missile defense networks.
It pointed to footage from Tuesday night's aerospace operation by the IRGC, which showed a missile successfully passing through three interceptor missiles and striking its target with precision.
Leaping Into The Lion's Den: The Deadly Risks Of A US Ground Invasion Of Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration have backed themselves into a corner. Their planned swift and stunning operation to decapitate the Iranian regime and bring about regime change has failed. The situation is further complicated by conflicting statements from those involved in the conflict. While Washington claims that Iran is nearly finished and the Ayatollahs' regime has been defeated, Tehran is openly demonstrating its intention to continue fighting by striking U.S. allies in the region. The Pentagon is unable to fully protect its Arab allies, which undermines the alliance between the United States and the Persian Gulf countries.
Israeli police are violently suppressing our growing anti-war protests - +972 Magazine
For the past month, I have been gathering with fellow Israeli radical left activists in Tel Aviv's Habima Square to protest the war with Iran. What began as a demonstration of barely 20 people has steadily grown: By this past Saturday, there were over 1,000 demonstrators, joined by parts of the more centrist anti-government protest movement, with parallel rallies held in dozens of locations across the country.
This expansion of our anti-war protests appears to have unsettled the Israel Police, which has responded with disproportionate and indiscriminate force.
Lebanese Army Abandons South And Its People To Israel

The Lebanese military confirmed on April 1 that its forces are withdrawing from the country's south, amid mass displacement caused by the ongoing Israeli ground operation against Hezbollah.

US-Israeli aggression on Iran: What happened on 32nd day of the imposed war
Thirty-two days into the US-Israeli war on Iran, which began with the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on February 28, the military aggression continues to target civilian and industrial infrastructure.
On Tuesday, US and Israeli airstrikes hit multiple locations in Tehran, including districts 2, 4, 13, and 21, while attacks in Mahallat county killed 11 civilians and injured 15 others.
In Zanjan, three civilians were killed in a US-Israeli airstrike on the Grand Hussainiya.
In response, Iran issued a warning against 18 American technology companies, including Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Meta, Tesla, and Boeing, stating that they would be considered legitimate targets for retaliation due to their role in designing and tracking assassination operations in Iran.
Iran also reiterated that it is prepared for any ground confrontation with the US while emphasizing that it is not targeting its Persian Gulf neighbors, only US bases and assets.
On the diplomatic front, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that no formal negotiations with the US are underway, only an exchange of messages through regional intermediaries and directly via US envoy Steve Witkoff.
He reiterated Iran's conditions for ending the imposed war: a complete halt to hostilities across the region, guarantees against future attacks, and compensation for damages.

Israel uses "non-designed" air defence systems to intercept Iranian missiles, Hebrew media reports - Middle East Monitor
An Israeli television channel reported on Tuesday evening that Israel has begun using air defence systems not originally designed to intercept Iranian missiles, amid growing challenges to its interception capabilities.
Channel 13 said the Israeli army is relying on US-made interception systems, alongside lower-tier defence systems such as "David's Sling", to intercept some missiles, even though these systems were not initially intended to deal with such threats, unlike more advanced systems such as "Arrow 3".
The report comes as air defence systems face increasing pressure due to the intensity and variety of attacks.
12bytes: Word is that only 5-20% of incoming missiles and drones are being intercepted, however i've seen videos where not a single interceptor was launched. The 20% figure sounds reasonable at the beginning of this war given that Iran was deploying its older missiles in order to deplete Israel's interceptor stockpiles, however i would be surprised if that many missiles are being intercepted now. As for the Houthi's and Hezbollah, i don't know how many of their missiles/drones are being intercepted.

Strange figures and unexplained killings: The clues Mossad infiltrated Iran's protests | Middle East Eye
January feels an age away for Iranians. The dangers of the authorities' crackdown on anti-government protests have been replaced with a month of incessant US and Israeli strikes and the threat of a looming ground invasion.
Yet for many, the memory of odd, unexplained incidents during the wave of demonstrations itches in the back of their mind.
One Iranian describes seeing a man disguised as a street sweeper pulling out a revolver and shooting two girls in a calm side street.
Others recall seeing blocs of coordinated people dressed all in black leading the protests, or people killed with weapons that are not used by the forces of the Iranian establishment.
Yes, Iran Is Playing Chess - But Only After Rewriting the Rules of the Game - Antiwar.com
The origins of chess are contested, but few dispute that while the game began in India, it was the Sassanian Persian Empire that refined it into a recognizable strategic system. It was Persia that codified its language, symbolism and intellectual framework: the shah (king), the rokh (rook), and shatranj, the modern chess game.
This is not a trivial historical detail. It is, in many ways, a metaphor that has returned with force.
