Iran's Tasnim news agency has reported that the third round of talks between Iran and the United States have ended, citing its reporter in Islamabad.

According to the reporter, some serious disagreements between the Iranian and US delegations still remain after earlier calling the US demands during the negotiations "excessive".

Iran's government wrote in a post to X that both teams are exchanging messages after 14 hours of talks concluded on Saturday, adding that "negotiations will continue despite some remaining differences."

Syria's Interior Ministry announced on April 11 that five people have been arrested over a plot to attack an unidentified religious figure in the capital, Damascus, alleging the cell was linked to Hezbollah.

In a statement, the ministry said that security forces observed a woman as she attempted to "plant an explosive device in front of the house of a religious figure" near a church in Damascus's Bab Touma neighborhood.

Security forces intervened and dismantled the device, then went on to arrest all five members of the cell, the ministry added.

"Preliminary investigations revealed the cell's link to Lebanon's Hezbollah, and that its members received specialised military training abroad," the statement reads.

Later, both Syria's Al-Akhbariya TV and Israel's e Kan public broadcaster identified the religious figure that cell attempted to target as Rabbi Michael Khoury.

A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to a United States Air Force aircraft at Shannon Airport in County Clare in Ireland on April 11.

Irish police confirmed that the man entered the "unauthorized area of Shannon Airport". Video footage circulating on social media appeared to show the man clambering onto a C-130 military transport aircraft and striking a wing with an object.

A source with knowledge on the incident described the damage done to the American aircraft to The Journal as "extensive."

'I wished for death': Sexual violence in Israel's prisons is an 'organised state policy' | Middle East Eye

Sexual torture of Palestinian detainees from Gaza in Israeli prisons is an "organised state policy", endorsed by the "highest, political, military, and judicial authorities", a new report has revealed.

The report, seen exclusively by Middle East Eye, is based on testimonies from Palestinian former prisoners gathered by the rights watchdog Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor.

It reveals how the scope of sexual violence of Palestinian prisoners, including rape using objects and trained military dogs, constitutes an "organised state policy", aided and abetted by Israeli institutions and leadership.

One former detainee, a 42-year-old woman from north Gaza who was held in the notorious Sde Teiman detention centre, said she was bound naked to a metal table and repeatedly raped by two masked soldiers over the course of two days.

She recalled that she was left shackled, naked and bleeding throughout the night before the soldiers returned the next day to continue raping her.

She said she wished for death and likened her experience to "another genocide behind walls".

Throughout her ordeal, she was filmed. Soldiers later showed her the footage while she was hung by her wrists under interrogation, threatening to publish the videos if she did not "cooperate".

Amir, a 35-year-old Palestinian man also held at Sde Teiman, recounted how soldiers forced him to strip naked, before their dogs urinated on him and raped him.

He described how the dog "penetrated my anus in a trained manner while I was being beaten".

"This continued for several minutes. I felt profoundly humiliated and violated."
