Trump, Bibi desperate; F-15 downed; Iran, Hezbollah kicking ass; US/Israel fear Houthi's; US bases destroyed, evacuated - IRAN WAR NEWS - 22-Mar-2026 (update 4)
"Netanyahu finally found someone stupid enough to do it." -- Max Blumenthal, referring to Trump's war on Iran
12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump has started a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since the opening salvo slaughtered a bunch of school girls. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming munitions and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic or multi-warhead missiles. Israel and the Gulf states are running out of interceptors. Their reporting of incoming missiles and drones being "intercepted" or that they "fell out of the sky" or "missed their target" or caused only "superficial damage", etc., are largely lies. The damage to US bases and Israel is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing, at best, a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden for people to report on the damage inflicted by Iran, many of which have been arrested. This is why we're not getting a lot of visuals from inside Israel or the Gulf states.
Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionist cockroaches have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb the US/Israel drops on their civilians and leaders. Meanwhile, Iran controls shipping in the Hormuz Strait and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will the US and/or Israel deploy nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.
US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz has refused to rule out potential strikes on an Iranian nuclear power plant when asked by CBS about the extent of President Donald Trump's ultimatum to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
On Saturday evening, Trump vowed to "obliterate" Iran's power plant unless the navigation in the crucial shipping lane is freed up in 48 hours.
Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says the Islamic Republic will "irreversibly" destroy vital energy and fuel infrastructure across the region if the United States attacks power plants inside Iran.
Qalibaf issued the stark warning in a post on his X account on Sunday in response to the latest threat by US President Donald Trump, who said Saturday night that the United States will "hit and obliterate" Iran's "various power plants, starting with the biggest one first!" if the country does not "fully open, without threat", the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 hours from this exact point in time."
"Immediately after our country's power plants and infrastructure are hit, vital infrastructure and energy and fuel infrastructure across the region will be considered legitimate targets [for Iran] and will be destroyed in an irreversible manner," Qalibaf said.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has successfully executed the 75th wave of its ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4, codenamed "O Fatima Al-Zahra (SA)," in honor of martyred Iranian commanders and as a firm response to continued Zionist and American aggression.
According to an official statement from the IRGC released on Sunday night, the latest phase was carried out in the name and memory of martyrs, including Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, the martyred spokesperson for the IRGC, and Hojatoleslam Esmaeel Khatib, the martyred Minister of Intelligence.
The operation precisely targeted new military deployments and hiding places of Israeli troops across various parts of the occupied Palestinian territories, based on accurate reconnaissance by the IRGC's operational intelligence units.
The IRGC also struck Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia, which is a key hub for US aggressors' deployments and air operations directed against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Advanced ballistic missiles were used in this operation.
The IRGC also issued a stern warning to Zionist and American terrorist forces, emphasizing that they remain fully under the constant surveillance of the Corps's superior intelligence apparatus.
The IRGC stressed that attempts to conceal soldiers in civilian areas, such as the town of Arad, will offer no protection.
"Hiding them in towns will not save their lives due to the IRGC's intelligence superiority," the Corps declared, underscoring the precision and inevitability of future responses to any aggression.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Army has carried out a large-scale overnight operation, targeting Israeli military installations and fuel depots in the occupied territories, deploying advanced kamikaze drones.
The Army said in a statement that the unmanned aircraft hit military buildings as well as fuel depots and hangars for tanker planes at the Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv.
Gulf states activated air defences as missile and drone threats were reported across the region, with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait all responding to incoming attacks.
In the UAE, an Indian national suffered minor injuries from falling debris in Abu Dhabi after the "interception of a ballistic missile," authorities said.
Saudi Arabia said it was responding to drones in its eastern and northern border areas, while Kuwait reported intercepting "hostile missile and drone threats".
In Bahrain, sirens sounded as authorities warned of potential danger amid the escalating situation.
The US state department issued an advisory for Americans abroad, especially in the Middle East, "to exercise increased caution" amid rising tensions linked to the war with Iran.

12bytes: This is a worthwhile listen, but Clayton gets a couple thing wrong here:
The Hormuz strait is NOT closed. It is closed to the US, Israel and supporting countries. That said, it may be effectively closed if the shipping insurance companies are refusing to insure, so maybe he's half right. If the fucking morons in the US/Israel continue to attack Iranian energy infrastructure, then Iran may very well close the strait completely.
Iran denied targeting the US Diego Garcia base. This seem to be a false-flag attack executed by Israel and/or the US.
The war with Iran is only one piece of a much bigger agenda. In this video, we break down the latest escalation in the Middle East, the media's recycled war propaganda, and why so many global crises seem to push in the same direction: more control, less freedom.
Residents in Indian-administered Kashmir are donating their gold possessions and cash to support Iranians impacted by the US-Israeli war. Iran's embassy in India has acknowledged the gesture, saying their kindness 'will never be forgotten'.
12bytes: A lot of Jews remind me of the 'Everlasting Gobstopper'. They view themselves as perpetual victims and their victim-hood status affords them an immense amount of latitude in the geopolitical arena. It's a disgusting tactic devoid of any ethical or moral boundaries. The question few people ask, is why Jews have been persecuted and kicked out of so many countries over the centuries.
Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.
On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.
Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 74 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.
Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.
Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.
Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on March 22:
Hezbollah on March 22 released video footage showing an Israeli Hermes 450 combat drone getting shot down over Lebanon by its fighters, marking the first such incident since the group resumed military operations against Israel following the start of the war on its ally and main backer, Iran.
Iran's missile strike near Israel's Dimona nuclear facility on Saturday night was more than a dramatic escalation in the shadow war between the two nations. It was a reminder of the fragility of Israel's decades-long policy of "nuclear ambiguity," a strategy designed to keep adversaries guessing about the country's ultimate deterrent while avoiding direct confrontation with allies who have long opposed nuclear proliferation.
The missiles landed just 14 kilometres from the reactor, damaging nearby buildings and injuring at least 20 people. The facility itself was untouched, but the symbolism was unmistakable: Iran had demonstrated its ability to reach Israel's most sensitive site, despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's declaration only a day earlier that Iran's missile capabilities had been "destroyed."
Qatar - which hosts the largest American military base in the Middle East and has been conducting back-channel diplomacy on Washington's behalf since day one - formally threatened military retaliation against Israel after Israel bombed a gas installation that Qatar partially owns. Trump came out and said it was the last time. Iran spent the following hours telling Qatar what it has been telling every Gulf state since February 28th: we told you this would happen.
Trump's "short-term excursion" in Iran is going from bad to worse. And so are his incoherent positions on the situation and what to do about it. With gas prices jumping the world over, humanity is staring down the barrel of global food shortages and severe energy disruptions, while the US military is seriously considering direct military confrontation with Iranian forces to "free the Strait of Hormuz."
In the midst of all this, rumors are flying about Netanyahu's whereabouts, and 'someone' is carrying out missile strikes, in Iran's name, against high-profile military sites like the US-UK military base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, against energy infrastructure targets in neutral countries, and against important cultural sites like Jerusalem's Old City.
'They' seem determined to cause global FUBAR. Can Trump do anything to stop them? Or has he become their hostage?
It's become increasingly acceptable within 'polite society' to speak openly of the ambition held by certain zionists with far too much power for a thing called "Greater Isreal". That is to say, a territory far larger than the one currently occupied by Israel stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates and looking alot like the territorial map of the Neo-Babylonian Empire which held the Jews in captivity for 70 years.
Iran says it launched multiple ballistic missile and drone strikes, targeting bases in Al Minhad and Ali al-Salem Air Bases in UAE and Kuwait, as well as several sites in southern Israel as the US-Israeli war on the Islamic Republic stretched into its fourth week.
Thousands of Israeli settlers are too fearful to return to their homes after being evacuated following Iranian retaliatory missile attacks on the occupied territories.
According to reports by the Israeli media, at least 1,450 families, who have been evacuated, have yet to return to their homes. Nearly 3,000 Israelis have left their homes since the United States and Israel launched an unprovoked war on Iran on February 28.
The number is now expected to rise after Iranian missiles struck the southern cities of Dimona and Arad on Saturday, leaving buildings shattered and at least 200 people injured.
In statements on Telegram, the Lebanese group said it fired a missile salvo at an Israeli airbase in northern Israel's Meron and a squadron of "attack drones" at another army installation near Ramot Naftali, also in the north.
In addition, Hezbollah said it fired rocket salvos at the northern Israeli communities of Manara and Zar'it.
Alarms sounded in the area around one of Israel's major nuclear research centres on Sunday evening, a day after two Iranian missiles wounded more than 150 people in the cities of Arad and Dimona.
BAGHDAD, March 22 (YPA) - Abu Mahdi al-Jaafari, spokesperson for Saraya Awliya al-Dam, announced on Sunday that the United States and NATO had requested the Iraqi government to broker a 24-hour temporary truce with resistance factions.
The purpose of the truce, he said, is to allow US-led coalition forces to complete their withdrawal from Victory Base in Baghdad toward Turkey
Air defense systems like THAAD and Iron Dome may be highly capable but they still struggle with combined missile and drone attacks from multiple directions, Imad Salamey, associate professor at the Lebanese American University, tells Sputnik.
Reports from Iran are warning that "the entire region will go dark," if President Trump follows through on his threat to target Iranian power plants, if the Strait of Hormuz is not fully opened by Monday.
Dr. Foad Izadi, an author and associate professor in the Department of American Studies at the University of Tehran, noted that after decades of restraint, Iran is now pursuing a policy of "an eye for an eye," and if the U.S. attacks its decentralized power grid, then Iran will target electricity infrastructure linked to the U.S. and Israel across the region.
Know and be aware: If Iran's power plants are targeted, the response will not only be at the same level but far beyond. As observed today, all information and precise coordinates of key water and electricity infrastructure in the occupied territories are fully stored in Iran's target bank. The slightest aggression against Iran's vital facilities will mean the beginning of a devastating reaction that will turn all these vital infrastructures to ashes. Iran is ready to respond with unimaginable power to any threat or hostile action and impose an irreparable cost on the enemy. Make no mistake; the era of appeasement is over, and any action against Iran will mark the beginning of the collapse of the enemy's vital infrastructures.
12bytes: Video is AI, dunno where the script comes from. These reports seem accurate and offer a lot of context.
The Trump administration is preparing to request one hundred billion dollars in emergency supplemental war funding from Congress. Not to achieve the objectives that justified launching this conflict. To pay for what has already been spent, destroyed, and expended across twenty-one days of operations that have produced no declared victory, no ceasefire framework, and no credible exit strategy.
And simultaneously, Iran struck the Haifa refinery - Israel's largest fuel processing installation, supplying between fifty and sixty percent of the country's total fuel requirements - with every available American and Israeli air defense system fully engaged. The missiles arrived anyway.

TEHRAN (Sputnik) - If the United States attacks power plants in Iran, Tehran will completely close the Strait of Hormuz until the plants are back to work, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for the Khatam Al-Anbiya central headquarters, said on Sunday.
"If the US threats against Iranian power plants are carried out, Iran will immediately take the following measures... The Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed until the Iranian power plants that have been struck are restored," Zolfaghari said, as quoted by the Tasnim news agency.
In the event of attacks on Iranian power plants, Tehran will consider Israel's entire energy infrastructure, as well as "information and communication technology facilities," to be the targets of military strikes, the spokesman added.
All companies in the Middle East in which the US has interests, as well as power plants in those countries in the region where the US has established military bases, will also be destroyed, Zolfaghari said.
In response to threats by US President Donald Trump about hitting Iran's power plants, the Intelligence Service of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says critical technology centers beyond the region will be targeted within 48 hours.
The Intelligence Service said in a post on X on Sunday that since February 28, Iran's armed forces have managed to stabilize the Strait of Hormuz, forcing the United States to evacuate its bases in the region, and damage and destroy technological centers of the Israeli regime.
From now on, the Service stated, Iran's armed forces also have an eye on extra-regional technological and political targets associated with the Islamic Republic's enemies.
Trump yesterday threatened that Iran's power infrastructure would be bombed if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened within 48 hours.
President Donald Trump posted late Saturday that the U.S. would "obliterate" Iran's power plants if it does not open the Strait of Hormuz. Professor Mohammad Marandi responded to the threat and said Iran's position remains "steadfast."
The spokesman for the Iranian Defense Ministry says the country's missile and drone strikes in retaliation for the unprovoked US-Israeli onslaught will continue fiercely and forcefully until enemies surrender completely.
Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik stated on Sunday that this is a public demand, as well as a request from Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei and families of the victims.
He stated that the US and Israel are undoubtedly the chief aggressors against Iran.
The spokesman noted that Donald Trump has become a plaything in the hands of Israeli officials, and the US president, together with his accomplices, has forgone the interests of Americans, many peoples around the globe as well as the Iranian nation to serve the Tel Aviv regime, and subsequently launched a war of aggression against Iran on February 28.
Now the Israeli citizens are beginning to realise how the people in Gaza feel as their evil Netanyahu destroys their homes and commits genocide. Notice how Ben Gvir makes out like it is Iran's fault when in fact he and Netanyahu started this FAKE WAR with Iran? This is rare footage because Israel has banned the publication of any damage inside Israel to pretend that they are not suffering at all in this illegal war.
TEHRAN, March 22 (YPA) - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Crops (IRGC)'s Intelligence Service announced on Sunday that it had achieved several strategic objectives within the scope of the regional conflict and is now looking beyond the region.
"So far, in the context of the regional battle, we have accomplished a number of strategic goals, including the evacuation of U.S. bases, consolidation of control over key straits, influence over global energy flows, disruption of Israeli technology companies, and shaping global public opinion against our adversaries," the IRGC said in a statement.
"From this point forward, we are expanding our focus beyond the region. Targets identified in our technological and political 'red target bank' will be struck within less than 48 hours in response to any threat to our nuclear facilities," it added.
Iranian air defense systems have successfully reduced military aggression by American and Israeli fighter jets in the central regions of the country after the F-35 aircraft was struck, a highly-placed intelligence source told Press TV.
According to the source, Iran's advanced and integrated air defense network has inflicted multiple blows against enemy invading aircraft, forcing a decrease in the tempo of operations over central Iran.
"The multiple strikes by Iran's integrated air defense system against American and Israeli invading aircraft have led to a significant reduction in military operations by American and Israeli fighter jets in the central regions of the country," the source said.
The source further noted that the enemy had focused on harassment and terrorist actions in central Iran but has so far failed to achieve its objectives.
"After striking the F-35, the pace of military operations has decreased, although aircraft and drones are still being used for reconnaissance purposes," he added.
The intelligence source also revealed that the number of downed drones has reached nearly 200. Citing defensive innovations deployed against enemy aircraft, he said the rate of strikes against enemy warplanes is likely to increase in the coming days.
BEIRUT, March 22 (YPA) - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon targeted on Sunday seven gatherings of Israeli army soldiers in multiple locations across southern Lebanon, according to a series of statements.
The group said the attacks were carried out using rockets and attack drones, targeting positions in Maskaf Am, Al-Aweida hilltop in the town of Adaisseh, the city of Khiam, the Taybeh project area, Jal Al-Hamar, and the Marj site opposite the town of Markaba.
The Houthis, who are backed by Tehran, have stepped up their threatening rhetoric against the backdrop of Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. If the Houthis enter the conflict, another key transport artery will come under threat - the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, through which an alternative route for energy supplies passes, the publication notes.
"If the Houthis enter the conflict, the stakes will really rise. This will draw the Suez Canal and Egypt into the conflict, and further involve Saudi Arabia," says Adam Baron, an expert at the New America think tank.
As stated in the article, senior Houthi representatives are signalling that they are ready to intervene. The group's senior representative, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, stated that "their finger is on the trigger", and Yemen's entry into the conflict is only a matter of time.
The Israeli army has said that its air defences have downed 92 percent of some 400 ballistic missiles fired at the country from Iran.
Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani told reporters that "We have had great interception rates".
On Saturday, Iranian missiles struck two towns in southern Israel, wounding around 180 people.
12bytes: Okay, i'm pretty familiar with Jewish math so i feel quite qualified to decode what the Israeli's are saying here. Now let's see, 100 - 92 = 8. Right, so Israel has intercepted 8% of Iran's missiles then. Sarcasm aside, an 8% figure actually sounds about right. Early on, Iran dumped a pile of its older missiles on Israel in order to deplete its air defenses and roughly 10-20% or so were intercepted. As the war continued however, Iran started breaking out its more advanced missiles, including it's hypersonic and multi-warhead jobbers, which essentially cannot be intercepted by Israel or the US. Worse, the so-called "Iron Dome", which is comprised of air defenses and radars across the Gulf states, has been obliterated, leaving Israel and US bases largely blind to incoming missiles and drones.
Iran's huge leap in missile capability allowed it to punch through Israel's vaunted multi-layered air defense shield, says political science and international relations expert Dr. Simon Tsipis.
That explains why several warheads in Iran's retaliatory strike on Dimona, home to Israel's nuclear research facility shielded by Israeli and US defenses, reached their target area, Dr. Simon Tsipis tells Sputnik.
According to the analyst:
Attack exposed weaknesses of Israel's Iron Dome, built to intercept short-range rockets and mortars - not Iran's intermediate-range ballistic missiles
Iran's military capabilities now allow it to launch ballistic missiles at ranges exceeding 2,000 km - including Diego Garcia joint US-UK military base
Iran employs saturation tactics, launching swarms of decoys like drones and low-caliber missiles to overwhelm defensive systems before the main missile strikes
Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on March 22 that seven people, including four Qatari Armed Forces service members, one Turkish Armed Forces service member, and two technicians from Turkish defense company ASELSAN, were killed in a helicopter crash in Qatar.
[...]
The type of the helicopter is still unknown, but taking into account that it was carrying seven it is safe to assume that it was either an NHIndustries NH90 or an AgustaWestland AW139 of QAF.
While preliminary statements from both Qatar and Turkey suggest that the helicopter crashed as a result of some "technical malfunction," rumors that spread online suggested that the incident was in fact caused by a failed attempt to intercept an Iranian drone.
Since the start of the American-Israeli war on Iran more than three weeks ago, Qatar, like the rest of Gulf countries, has reported missile and drone attacks against its territories on a near daily basis.
A helicopter, reportedly an American-made AH-64 Apache, crashed in the United Arab Emirates on May 9, killing two pilots from the country's air force. It was also reported at the time that a failed attempt to intercept an Iranian drone caused the deadly crash.
The presence of technicians from ASELSAN, which produces anti-drone systems, aboard the crashed Qatari helicopter could be an evidence that the rumors of a drone hit are true.
There was "no specific assessment that Tehran is targeting the UK or even could if they wanted to," Housing Secretary Steve Reed told the BBC after the Israeli army claimed on Saturday that Iran had weapons that could reach up to 4,000 km (2,485 miles).
Iran's Red Crescent Society is reporting that over 81,000 civilian units have been damaged in US- Israeli attacks across Iran.
The organisation highlighted that the damage, along with the targeting of medical centres, schools, ambulances and aid workers is a "clear" violation of international humanitarian law.
"We see that, unfortunately, the war is spreading. We all know that at the start of this campaign - this aggression - the goal was, after all, to bring about regime change in Tehran. But one thing is now clear - every action like this only serves to unite the Iranian people more closely around their leadership," Peskov told Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin in an interview out on Sunday.
Larry Johnson discusses Trump and Netanyahu seeking an exit ramp to end the war against Iran. If Trump is serious about ending the war and leaving the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian control, the consequence will likely be the US being evicted from the Middle East. Johnson is a former CIA intelligence analyst who also worked at the U.S. State Department's Office of Counterterrorism.
Seyed Mohammad Marandi discusses the targeting of nuclear plants, desalination plants, critical infrastructure, and the civilian population. Trump has given Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz (capitulation), otherwise the US will destroy Iran's energy facilities. Then there will be no limits on Iran's response, and the consequences will be global. The future of global stability will be decided over the next few days. Marandi is a professor at Tehran University and a former advisor to Iran's Nuclear Negotiation Team.
Speaking from the site of an attack in the southern Israeli city of Arad, Netanyahu said: "It's time for world leaders to join us, and I'm seeing movement from some in that direction."
He warned that Iran "has the whole world in its sights".
12bytes: Trump is completely unhinged and Bibi's facing prison if he can't keep the wars going. The desperation couldn't be more obvious. Israel is doomed. I wonder what Iran's battle plan to take over the "whole world" looks like with only medium range missiles and no nukes?
In a dramatic escalation of rhetoric, US President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran, threatening to "obliterate" the country's power plants unless the Strait of Hormuz is fully opened for energy traffic.
The threat, posted on his social media platform Truth Social and amplified by the White House account, has drawn swift and fierce condemnation from lawmakers, legal experts, and military analysts, describing it as a move that is illegal, strategically incoherent, and indicative of a leader losing control of a war he started.
Some observers believe that the US President resorted to this gamble to distract attention from the Epstein files, which reveal that nearly the entire Western elite is implicated in this pedophile's sexual crimes, and under the influence of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Jewish lobby, which funds the election of approximately half of all members of Congress in America.
Expectations that the bombing of Tehran would lead to regime change in that country, that the Iranian leadership would cease active resistance and refrain from closing the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's crude oil passes, have proven illusory. The American leader's reckless actions not only threaten to destroy the Middle East but have also caused turmoil within the United States and around the world. Notably, Trump has become increasingly frustrated with the media's coverage of these events and has been unable to explain why he started this war and how he plans to end it. His arguments are falling on deaf ears among a public concerned about the deaths of American troops in the conflict, the sharp rise in oil prices, and the collapse of financial markets. Even some of his supporters are questioning his plans (if he has any), and his overall ratings are falling.
Israel had a "very difficult evening in the battle for our future", said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Iranian strikes hit the towns of Arad and Dimona.
Here is what you should know as the US-Israeli war on Iran enters day 23:
In Iran
Israel launched new attacks on Tehran on Sunday, with explosions reported in the east of the city, following Iranian missile attacks on southern Israel.
Iran's military threatened to attack all energy infrastructure linked to the US and Israel in the Middle East if its power plants are targeted, after Trump threatened new attacks.
The Iranian military announced intercepting a US-Israeli armed drone in the skies over Tehran before it could carry out any combat operations, according to the Tasnim news agency.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed on Saturday its air defences shot down an Israeli fighter in Iranian airspace, the third such incident reported during the war. Israel did not confirm this.
Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation said Israel and the US targeted the country's Natanz nuclear site on Saturday in "criminal attacks". Tehran also informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about the attack, which confirmed no unusual radiation leak.
Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian called on the BRICS alliance, currently chaired by India, to "play an independent role in halting aggressions against Iran". He also proposed establishing a regional security framework of West Asian countries.
Iran's state broadcaster noted the death toll from the US-Israeli attacks has now topped 1,500, according to the Ministry of Health, and at least 20,984 people were injured, with seven hospitals evacuated and 36 ambulances damaged.
In the Gulf
Saudi Arabia intercepted nearly 60 drones from Iran, officials said, a majority of them targeting the country's Eastern province, which houses the country's energy facilities and resources.
The Ministry of Defence also said three ballistic missiles were launched towards Riyadh province. It said it intercepted one of those, while the others fell in an uninhabited area.
Saudi Arabia declared many of the Iranian diplomatic staff, including its military attache, persona non grata, ordering them to leave the country within 24 hours, after Qatar did the same on Wednesday.
In Bahrain, Iranian missiles targeted US bases after Iran's state broadcaster claimed earlier attacks on al-Minhad base in the United Arab Emirates and Ali al-Salem airbase in Kuwait, which host US and British forces.
Bahrain's military said its air defences shot down 143 missiles and 242 drones fired by Iran during the war.
Qatar's Ministry of Defence noted a search operation after one of its helicopters suffered a technical malfunction during a routine duty and crashed in the regional waters.
In the US
Trump threatened to attack Iran's energy sites in a post on Truth Social. "If Iran doesn't FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!" he wrote.
Trump claimed that the US is "weeks ahead of schedule" in its war on Iran and reiterated that Washington is not looking to make a deal with Iran, because "their leadership is gone, their navy and air force are dead, they have absolutely no defense".
Trump repeated that Iran wants "to make a deal"; however, Iranian leaders have denied such earlier assertions.
Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of the US Central Command, says the US military has dropped multiple 5,000-pound (2,270kg) bombs on an underground facility along Iran's coast that it used to store antiship cruise missiles, mobile missile launchers and other equipment, thus undermining its ability to threaten the Strait of Hormuz.
In Israel
Iranian missile attacks broke through Israeli defences in the south of the country, making direct impacts in the cities of Dimona and Arad, wounding some 100 people. The IRGC said it targeted Israeli military installations and security centres in the cities of Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Beersheba and Kiryat Gat in its most recent missile salvo. Tehran claimed more than 200 people were killed in the attacks; Israel reported no deaths.
PM Netanyahu said he is "strengthening the emergency and rescue forces currently operating in the field" after the Iranian attack in southern Israel.
The IAEA said it is aware of reports of a missile impact in the Israeli city of Dimona, adding that there are no indications of damage to the nuclear research centre in Negev.
Israel's Ministry of Education cancelled all in-person classes across the country for Sunday and Monday. Israel's Home Front Command banned gatherings of more than 50 people in the country's south until Tuesday.
Israel's military says it struck more than 200 sites in Iran and Lebanon over the weekend, targeting missile launchers, air defence systems and military bases.
Israeli military spokesman said Israel's air defence systems were activated during the attacks, but failed to intercept some of the missiles, even though they were not "special or unfamiliar". The spokesman said the military would investigate and "learn from" the incidents.
Israel's Ministry of Health said at least 4,292 injured people have been brought to hospitals since the start of the war.
Hezbollah said it carried out 14 attacks targeting Israeli positions, including gatherings of soldiers and military vehicles, mostly in southern Lebanon. 4
TEHRAN (Sputnik) - The Iranian military has intercepted another F-15 fighter jet during the conflict with the United States and Israel, the Iranian state-run broadcaster IRIB reported on Sunday.
A F-15 fighter jet was intercepted off the southern coast of the country near the island of Hormuz, after which it was hit with a surface-to-air missile of the Iranian army air defense system, the report said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Army has successfully carried out retaliatory strikes targeting Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport using advanced Arash-2 drones.
The head of the Misgav Am settlement said four explosions struck the northern Israeli settlement without prior warning, causing damage to a house and two vehicles.
The report said that nearly 2,000 drones and more than 300 ballistic missiles have been fired toward the United Arab Emirates during the conflict, highlighting the scale of the threat to the region.
The developments have raised concerns about whether such conditions could become a prolonged reality.
Iran has denied targeting a joint US-UK military base in the Indian Ocean, Al Jazeera reported, citing a senior Iranian official.
Located on the remote island of Diego Garcia in the Chagos Archipelago, the military site was reportedly targeted by two ballistic missiles early on Friday local time.
Neither of the alleged missiles hit the base, which hosts about 2,500 personnel, most of them American. Washington has described the installation as "an all but indispensable platform" for operations across the Middle East, South Asia, and East Africa.
Iran's ambassador to the United Kingdom and permanent representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Ali Mousavi in an interview with Xinhua on Sunday stated that passing through the Strait of Hormuz is possible after making the necessary security arrangement with Iran.
Let me get this straight: we're expected to believe that Donald Trump became so fearful of the "imminent threat" of an attack by Iran (whose nuclear program he COMPLETELY OBLITERATED last year) that he had to suddenly start bombing them in the midst of peace negotiations-negotiations that even insiders admit Iran was approaching in good faith?
And he is WINNING this war so thoroughly that he has to beg his NATO allies for help in securing the Strait of Hormuz and then lambaste those self-same allies as unnecessary when they refuse?
And the same room temperature IQ statists who insisted Trump would be the "Peace President" and who bleated that he'd be "better than Kamala" are now telling us that this is all part of some 16D backgammon manoeuvre to undermine the deep state or reverse judo flip Netanyahu or set the Iranian people free or whatever else the QAnonsense crazies and Trump voters are consoling themselves with these days?
This week on SUNDAY WIRE returns with host Patrick Henningsen with a different show format (outdoors!), and reviewing the biggest and most impactful stories of the week-both in the US and internationally, including the surprise resignation of Trump's counterterrorism chief Joe Kent-calling out the plague of Israel pulling the US into yet another illegal war of aggression-this time against against Iran. We also discuss Tulsi Gabbard's disastrous performance in front of Senate intelligence committee, which revealed how reckless President Trump is and how there wasn't any evidence Iran posed an imminent threat to the US. We also look at how depraved Israelis are using online political betting site Polymarket to wager millions on whether Iranian missiles land in Israel-and how an Israeli reporter received death threats if he didn't withdraw his report on an Iranian missile landed in Tel Aviv earlier this month. All this and more on this week's edition of the SUNDAY WIRE.
Trump has officially committed upwards of 10,000 US troops to fight on the ground in Iran - for the purpose of preserving 'face'.
Hegseth goes on a live press conference declaring that 'hunting, striking, death and destruction' is what this war is all about.
The Israeli BOTS were out in full propaganda mode to 'evilize' Iran over the execution of a 19-year old wrestler while failing to note said wrestler had brutally sliced two policemen to death.
All while demanding $200 billion in immediate 'added' compensation for a war that we are ill prepared to fight.
Forced into a humiliating U-turn amid a potential global economic meltdown, the Trump administration announced today that it may remove sanctions on Iranian oil already at sea.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Fox News that the move to free up 140 million barrels of oil was aimed at preventing China gaining from the situation. "That's about 10 days to two weeks of supply that the Iranians had been pushing out that would have all gone to China," he said. "In essence, we will be using the Iranian barrels against the Iranians to keep the price down for the next 10 or 14 days as we continue this campaign."

No matter how the Trump administration spins their move, there is no doubt that this represents an embarrassing climb down - one which drew mockery on social media. "This is literally the dumbest war in human history. No hyperbole," said Aaron Bastani of Novara Media. "Next up: US asks Iran to join anti-Iran coalition," joked satirist Karl Sharro.
This is Part Two of my interview with Max Igan. The Jewish Mashiach [Antichrist] is here, but don't say that you hate him because that would be 'hate speech' according to the ADL.

In a ruling out of Oregon, U.S. District Court Judge Mustafa Kasubhai blocked Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from limiting so-called "gender-affirming care" for children - siding with a coalition of 18 states and effectively protecting the continued use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and irreversible surgical procedures in minors.
Since 2021, reports of unusual white fibrous clots discovered during embalming have been dismissed as anecdotal or attributed to fringe voices within the profession. That dismissal is no longer credible. The phenomenon is now being confirmed by senior leadership across multiple funeral director and embalmer associations-individuals with decades of experience and responsibility for representing thousands of professionals.
Cuba has been plunged into darkness for the second time in less than a week after its national power network failed again, strained by an energy blockade imposed by the United States.
Amid a crushing (and illegal) U.S. blockade, dozens of public figures, including Hasan Piker, Greta Thunberg, Jeremy Corbyn, and Kneecap are traveling to Cuba to deliver aid to the island.
Traveling by land, sea, and air, this internationalist brigade, known as the Nuestra América Convoy to Cuba, is converging on Havana on Saturday in order to defy the Trump administration's regime change attempts, and show solidarity with the Cuban people.
