'Lucky Larry' is back!; US loses 2nd C-130; Iran, US forces collide; Hezbollah hits ship, tanks; 'Open the Fuckin' Strait', cries Trump - IRAN WAR NEWS - 5-Apr-2026 (update 3)

12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump initiated a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since 165 school girls were slaughtered by 2 US Tomahawk missiles during the opening salvos. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming munitions and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic and multi-warhead missiles. Israel and the Gulf states are running out of interceptors. Their reporting of incoming missiles/drones being "intercepted" are largely lies and many of the "missiles" being intercepted are decoys. The damage to Israel is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing Israeli's with a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden for people to report on the damage inflicted by Iran, many of whom have been arrested. Organizations publishing satellite imagery of damage to Israel and US bases are now forbidden to do so.

Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionists have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb the US/Israel drops on their people, their leaders and their infrastructure. Meanwhile, Iran controls shipping in the Hormuz Strait, a primary shipping lane of global importance, and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will the US and/or Israel deploy nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.

Stay tuned.

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on April 5

On Sunday, April 5, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.

Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 97 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

[...]

Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on April 5:

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC):

  • Downed an American MQ9 drone in the skies over Isfahan. With it, the number of MQ9 drones destroyed in the skies over Isfahan in the past five days has reached four.
  • Following the desperate actions of the American enemy to rescue the pilot of the downed fighter jet and the entry of enemy aircraft into the center of the country, during a joint operation (Aerospace Force, Ground Force, popular mobilization, Basij, and the Faraja), the enemy aircraft were destroyed, and America has once again suffered a shameful defeat, just like the 1980 Tabas operation.
  • Following the American-Israeli aggression on the B1 Karaj bridge and the Mahshahr petrochemical industries, in addition to the operations of the forces affiliated with the IRGC against specific military targets, a retaliatory operation was initiated in response to this clear aggression in wave 96 of the True Promise 4 operations, with the sacred codename "Ya Ruqayyah (peace be upon her)" and dedicated to all the martyred girls.
  • The operation was carried out within the operational schedule, and during the joint operation between the naval and air forces of the IRGC by setting fire to Israeli targets and American economic interests in the countries of the region.
  • A severe attack was carried out against a refinery supplying fuel for the American-Israeli fighter jets in Haifa, which led to the destruction of its main sections.
  • An attack was carried out against American gas facilities (Exxon, Mobil, and Chevron) located in Habshan, UAE.
  • A missile attack on US petrochemical facilities producing fuel materials for the American armed forces and military products for the Israeli regime in Al-Ruwais, UAE, caused a widespread fire.
  • An intensive attack with attack drones was carried out on American petrochemical facilities in Sitra, Bahrain, which led to a widespread fire and the destruction of important parts of this industry, which plays a role in producing oil derivatives required by the American military.
  • An attack on American petrochemical facilities in Shuaiba, Kuwait, led to a widespread fire and the complete shutdown.

Iranian Army:

  • An Israeli-American "Hermes 900" drone was intercepted and hit by the fire of the Army Air Defense Force system in Isfahan. With it, the number of drones destroyed by the integrated network of the country's Joint Air Defense Headquarters has reached 162.
  • Targeted petrochemical industries and oil product storage tanks in the south of the occupied territories near "Dimona", and depots of equipment, satellite communication units, and the headquarters of the American terrorist army forces at the enemy military base located in Bubiyan, Kuwait, with drone attacks.
  • The petrochemical industries, petroleum products, and underground emergency fuel reserves of the Israeli regime, which provide for the energy needs in the south of the occupied territories, are of high importance to this regime.
  • The enemy military base located in Bubiyan, Kuwait, as one of the key centers of the US Central Command in the region, plays a central role in supporting them in West Asia.
  • A "Lucas" drone belonging to the enemy was intercepted and struck by the surface-to-air missile system of the Army Air Defense Force near Kharg and was destroyed.
  • Including this one, the number of drones destroyed by the integrated network of the country's Joint Air Defense Headquarters has reached 163.

Iran Army conducts drone strikes against US bases in UAE, Kuwait

Iran's Army has conducted new drone strikes targeting US military positions in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, as the US-Israeli war against the Islamic Republic entered its sixth week.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the army said its forces targeted a radar system used for the detection and identification of missiles and combat drones, as well as aluminum industries in the UAE, using Arash 2 drones.

It added that drone strikes were also carried out against US command headquarters of mechanized, armored and helicopter units in Kuwait.

The statement said some Arab media outlets had reported explosions in both Kuwait and the UAE.

Trump Begs for Ceasefire, Iran Says 'Go Pound Sand' + Gulf Sheikhs Face Existential Choice - Patrick Henningsen talks to Dialogue Works - 21st Century Wire

This weekend has been a disaster for Donald Trump and his increasingly unhinged Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, as their operation inside Iran ended with multiple US planes being shot down, and the President resorting to wild tweets where he continues to threaten Iranian people with "total obliteration" if they don't accept an unconditional surrender from Washington. It's reported that Trump and Hegseth begged Tehran for a 48 hour ceasefire in order to clean up their mess after their mission went bad, but Tehran ignored US pleas. Meanwhile, the Gulf monarchies continue to try and stay in the US camp-despite their economies and security position rapidly deteriorating both regionally and internationally. Entitled Gulf regimes seem to believe they can continue to collude against Iran and still maintain their privileged positions in the Persian Gulf. If history is any guide, their shortsightedness may lead to their demise. All this and more.

It also warns of potential humanitarian and economic consequences, from food shortages to geopolitical instability, suggesting the situation may worsen without a clear exit strategy.

Trump and the Pentagon Will Collapse America Into Darkness. Pete Hegseth is a "Weapon of Mass Destruction" - Global Research

There are varying reports regarding the number of generals and admirals Hegseth has fired, with numbers ranging between now 23 to 34.

The reason is clear - Trump will only tolerate 'Yes Men' and Hegseth complies while depleting not just the highest ranks, but destabilizing war and troop strategies that will put thousands of lives in imminent danger.

The idea of Marines on the ground is suicide.

The idea that some two-bit former Fox News Host can fire a 4-star general is insanity. It is incredibly demeaning. The outcome should result in mutiny. It is like putting sailors on a ship with no captain or parachutists on a plane with no pilot.

IRGC Navy pounds key US-Israeli targets in wave 97 of Operation True Promise 4

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that its naval forces conducted a large-scale combined missile-and-drone operation against pivotal American and Zionist targets.

The operation was carried out as part of the 97th wave of Operation True Promise 4 on Sunday afternoon, the IRGC stated.

Among the key targets was a hideout used by American commanders and officers at a location near the Mohammad al-Ahmad naval base in Kuwait.

The site was obliterated by precision strikes using multiple ballistic missiles and attack drones, the IRGC said.

Reports indicate that the heavy concentration of ambulances in the area points to substantial casualties among enemy forces.

The attack, which follows Saturday's strike on a US command centre and training facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has so far killed or injured 25.

Meanwhile, an Israeli commercial vessel was struck by a naval Qadir cruise missile in the channel of Jebel Ali Port in the UAE. "The ship is currently on fire," the IRGC said.

The IRGC further stated that its naval forces have been preventing the transit of several vessels through the Strait of Hormuz since Saturday.

The vessels, it said, did not possess transit authorization and were therefore directed to the western and eastern anchorages of the waterway.

To transit the Strait, the IRGC Navy said oil tankers and commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman must contact one of the IRGC Navy stations via international Channel 16 on marine radio.

It also warned vessel crews not to endanger their safety by paying attention to "false news."

Iran imposed restrictions on the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz days after the US and Israel launched an unprovoked war against the Islamic Republic late in February.

As part of the operation, the IRGC Aerospace Force also targeted an industrial zone affiliated with the Israeli military in Beersheba. The attack came in response to "the atrocities of the brutal Zionist regime" against the Iranian nation, the statement added.

On Sunday morning, the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force set fire to enemy targets in the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait in response to US-Israeli airstrikes against Iran's civilian facilities.

However, the IRGC emphasized that what has occurred so far represents only a portion of its response, warning that if attacks on civilian facilities are repeated, the next phase of the operation will be more intense and broader in scope.

Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.

So far, 97 waves of missile and drone strikes have been carried out with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

Irans army hits Israeli, US targets in renewed reprisal attack

The Iranian army has launched fresh attacks on Israeli and US targets as part of its reprisal campaign against the ongoing US-Israeli aggression on the country.

The army said in a Sunday statement that it had carried out successful attacks on a petrochemical complex and oil products storage facility in the southern Israeli-occupied territories, as well as on a makeshift facility used by the United States military for keeping its equipment and satellite communication units in Kuwait.

It said that the Israeli petrochemical and oil products site targeted in the attacks included underground emergency storage installations that played a key role in energy supply to the southern occupied territories controlled by the Israeli regime.

The statement added that the US military facility on Kuwait's Bubiyan Island has been used as a major command and control center for American forces operating in the West Asia region and has hosted munition depots, key missile systems like HIMARS, as well as communication and supervision equipment.

Sanaa reveals physical evidence of Riyadh, Abu Dhabi's involvement in war on Iran - Yemen Press Agency

SANAA, April 05 (YPA) - An official in the Sanaa authority has revealed physical evidence of Saudi and Emirati involvement in the aggression against Iran, within an overt alliance alongside America and "Israel."

Hizam al-Asad, a member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau and the Shura Council in Sanaa, posted on his (X) platform account during the past hours: "The (Wing Loong 2) are Chinese-sourced aircraft acquired by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which were used in the aggression against the Yemeni people, where several of them were shot down."

Al-Asad pointed out that the downing of that aircraft yesterday in the airspace of the Islamic Republic exposes the falsehood of Saudi-Emirati 'neutrality' and reveals their clear alliance with the Zionist entity and America in the aggression against Iran.

Trump says 'good chance' of deal with Iran, but he will 'blow up' everything if not | Middle East Eye

US President Donald Trump told a Fox News journalist that he believes there is a "good chance" of making a deal with Iran on Monday.

Trump says he granted amnesty to Iranian negotiators in order to keep talks alive - Middle East Monitor

US President Donald Trump said Sunday there was a strong chance of reaching an agreement with Iran as soon as Monday, while also threatening to escalate attacks dramatically if Tehran fails to deliver quickly, Anadolu reports.

Speaking to Fox News, Trump said he was considering "blowing everything up" and "taking over the oil" if Iran does not move fast enough toward a deal.

He also said he had granted amnesty to Iranian negotiators to ensure talks could continue, though there was no immediate response from Tehran. Trump said previously that Washington was in contact with Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf.

Iran did not respond immediately to Trump's claim that an agreement may be near.

The remarks came on the same day Trump issued a stark warning on his social media platform Truth Social declaring that Tuesday would be "Power plant day, and bridge day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran" - referring to his threats to target Iran's infrastructure - adding: "There will be nothing like it!!!" He also told Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz "or you'll be living in hell - just watch!"

Why Are Upbeat US Claims About Mission to Rescue Pilot 'Highly Questionable'?

President Donald Trump earlier wrote on Truth Social that the US carried out an operation to rescue an F-15 airman "without a single American killed, or even wounded."

"Success in military terms is measured not only by the extraction of personnel but also by the cost incurred. If the US indeed lost aircraft and other equipment during the mission, then the operation cannot be deemed an unqualified success," former colonel of Pakistan's Air Force Sultan M. Hali told Sputnik.

"Rescue missions involving dozens of warplanes penetrating hostile airspace and engaging Iranian defenses are inherently dangerous. Historically, governments often downplay or delay acknowledgment of casualties to maintain morale and political optics," Hali explained.

12bytes: The US lost at least 4-6 aircraft associated with the rescue effort in addition to several other aircraft lost in the last few days.

Watergate 2.0

The Trump team is hastily looking for legal ways to destroy as much official documentation as possible. It is already obvious that following the results of Trump's stormy cadence, the White House apparatchiks will be dragged through the courts. It will take a very long and hard time to justify everything.

In the second month of the war with Iran, the White House is painfully rejoicing at the success of the rescue operation with the rescue of the pilot of the downed F‑15. However, it was possible to implement it only on the second attempt. And during the operation, we first lost two A‑10 attack aircraft, along with two helicopters, and then also tanker planes. Whether it will still be during the ground operation.

The military, dissatisfied with Trump, continues to leak information to the press about the depletion of the Pentagon's arsenals. During the month of the war, almost 1,900 high-precision JASSM missiles had to be spent out of the total reserves of 2,300. The cost of each rocket is one and a half million dollars. The standard versions of the JASSM have not been produced for 10 years, and the longer-range JASSM-ER are only produced at 300 per year.

Now the scarce missiles have to be hastily dragged from the Indo-Pacific direction. China will be the beneficiary of this, because the United States is burning through military resources in the Middle East, which have been accumulating for a long time to confront China. The same applies to tomahawks, of which only 50 are produced per year, and anti-aircraft missiles.

There are new high-profile resignations ahead in the White House, with FBI Director Cash Patel and Commerce Secretary Howard Latnick set to leave. The situation is painfully beginning to resemble the Nixon cadence - the chaos in Vietnam, political scandals, the collapse of ratings, the collapse of the presidential team. And it is unlikely that cleaning up the documentation will allow us to avoid impeachment hearings and trials in the near future.

Israeli occupation continues systematic detention of 350 Palestinian children - Yemen Press Agency

QUDS, April 05 (YPA) - The Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office said on Sunday that Israeli occupation's authorities continue to detain Palestinian children as part of what it described as a systematic policy targeting minors. It noted that more than 1,700 children have been detained since October 7, with some later released while others remain in custody.

In its report, the office stated that about 350 children are currently held in occupation's prisons, mainly in juvenile sections at Ofer and Megiddo facilities. It also indicated that dozens of children from the Gaza Strip have been detained during the ongoing war.

The office added that arrests are often accompanied by a range of violations, including enforced disappearance, denial of access to lawyers, and restrictions on family contact, which complicate efforts by human rights groups to verify numbers and detention conditions.

According to the report, the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child prohibits the arbitrary detention of minors and stresses that detention should be used only as a last resort and for the shortest possible time, while ensuring humane treatment. It said these standards-particularly Article 37, which bans torture and guarantees legal rights-are being violated.

The report further stated that conditions inside prisons affect all detainees, including children, citing allegations of torture, starvation, medical neglect, and the spread of disease.

It added that arrest practices have intensified since October 7, frequently involving violent nighttime raids in which children are taken without being allowed to gather belongings or say goodbye to their families.

It also said that detained children are often handcuffed, blindfolded, and beaten during transfer and interrogation, which reportedly takes place without legal representation and under conditions that breach international norms.

Iran's IRGC declares retaliatory strikes on regional oil, petrochemical facilities - Yemen Press Agency

TEHRAN, April 05 (YPA) - Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared on Sunday that it had targeted multiple oil and petrochemical facilities linked to the American-Zionist enemy, in retaliation for strikes on the B1 bridge in Karaj and petrochemical sites in Mahshahr city if Iran.

In a statement, the IRGC said the operation was part of wave 96 of operation "True Promise 4," carried out alongside other military actions and dedicated to "the martyr girls."

It added that the first phase of the response had been completed by the morning through a joint effort between its naval and aerospace forces, involving attacks on what it called Israeli targets and American economic interests in the region.

According to the statement, the operation included a large-scale strike on a refinery in Haifa that supplies fuel to Israeli aircraft, reportedly causing significant damage. It also claimed attacks on gas facilities operated by ExxonMobil and Chevron in Habshan, UAE.

The IRGC's statement further stated that it launched missiles at a petrochemical complex in Ruwais, UAE, sparking a major fire, and carried out a drone strike on the Sitra facility in Bahrain, causing extensive damage. Another attack reportedly targeted the Shuaiba petrochemical facility in Kuwait, leading to a large fire and a complete shutdown.

It accused its adversaries of failing in security, naval, and ground operations, and of being unable to sustain air operations due to repeated drone losses.

The statement added that they had instead turned to targeting civilian infrastructure to mask their setbacks, adding that the current strikes represent only the first phase of a broader response.

The IRGC's warned that continued attacks on civilian sites would trigger a more severe and expansive second phase, with escalating consequences.
