WAR OVER? US, Iran agree to 2 wk ceasefire to negotiate - IRAN WAR NEWS - 7-Apr-2026 (update 5)

12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump initiated a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since killing 165 school girls on opening day. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming missiles and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic and multi-warhead missiles. Their reporting of incoming missiles/drones being "intercepted" are largely lies and many of the missiles they are intercepting, with the few interceptors they have left, are decoys. The damage to Israel and US bases in the region is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing Israeli's with a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden for people to report on the damage inflicted by the resistance, some of whom will be spending a few years in prison for having done so, and organizations such as Planet Labs are no longer publishing satellite imagery of the devastation. Meanwhile, the US is losing aircraft left and right to Iran's air defenses, at least 6 during an effort to rescue 2 pilots of a downed F-15E.

Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionists have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb dropped on their people, their leaders and their infrastructure. Meanwhile, to Trump's dismay, Iran is now in charge of shipping in the Hormuz Strait, a primary corridor of global importance, and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will Israel or the US use nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.

Stay tuned.

Iran declares historic victory over US, says enemy forced to accept its proposal

Iran has declared a "historic and crushing defeat" of the United States and the Israeli regime after 40 days of war, announcing that Washington has been forced to accept a 10-point Iranian proposal that includes a permanent ceasefire, the lifting of all sanctions, and the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region.

In a statement addressed to the "noble, great, and heroic nation of Iran," the Supreme National Security Council said the enemy had suffered an undeniable defeat and now saw "no way forward but to submit to the will of the great nation of Iran and the honorable Axis of Resistance."

The announcement comes on Day 40 of the US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran, which began with the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top-ranking commanders on February 28.

According to the statement, the United States has agreed to a 10-point proposal that fundamentally commits Washington to:

  • Non-aggression against Iran
  • Continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz
  • Acceptance of Iran's right to uranium enrichment
  • The lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions
  • The termination of all UN Security Council and IAEA Board of Governors resolutions against Iran
  • Compensation for damages inflicted on Iran
  • The withdrawal of US combat forces from the region
  • The cessation of war on all fronts, including against the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon

"Iran has achieved a great victory and has forced criminal America to accept its own 10-point proposal," the statement read.

The statement by the top security body described the past 40 days as one of the "heaviest combined battles in history," in which Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and occupied Palestine inflicted blows that "the historical memory of the world will never forget."

"Iran and the Resistance have almost completely destroyed the American military machine in the region," it stated. "They have inflicted crushing and deep blows on the vast infrastructure and capabilities that the enemy had built and deployed around the region over many years for this war against Iran."

Iran military vows to cut US, allied access to regional oil and gas, force American retreat

Iran's highest operational command unit has issued the United States, the Israeli regime, and their allies a stern warning against further transgression against the country's infrastructure.

The comments were issued on Tuesday on the part of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters that coordinates operations between the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

"We will target the infrastructure of the US and its allies in a way that will deprive them of the region's oil and gas for years and force them to withdraw from the region," spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari said in a statement.

The comments came following repeated attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime against various Iranian infrastructural sites, including petrochemical facilities, railways, and bridges, as part of their February 28-present unprovoked aggression targeting the Islamic Republic.

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on April 7

Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.

Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 99 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.

Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.

Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.

Ending US-Israeli war on Iran: Ground realities and evidence-based path forward

It's now common knowledge that all the political fantasies of the US-Zionist alliance that led to the latest unprovoked and inhumane war on Iran have become a nightmare for President Donald Trump, his core team, and the war criminal in Tel Aviv, Benjamin Netanyahu.

To their utter surprise and shock, Iran has courageously fought back with unparalleled and indomitable spirit for over five weeks, following the aggression that led to the martyrdom of over 2,000 people, many of them children and women, with civilians and civilian infrastructure being the main targets.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and some top-ranking military commanders were also assassinated in the very first wave of aggression on February 28.

The brave Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the strong Iranian Army, with the full popular support of the Iranian nation, who have been on the streets from day one, will continue to resist this blatant aggression until their legitimate demands, as outlined by the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, are met completely and unconditionally.

On the other hand, the United States, with its inflated propaganda and the repeated, often contradictory claims by Trump that it has won the war and achieved all its objectives, is now in a quagmire of heavy and insulting defeat. The loud claims of defeating Iran do not match the harsh ground realities of the war, which Iran is winning and gaining more victories daily.

Below is a brief analysis of the factors leading to this dramatic and unpredictable scenario that has attracted the attention of the whole world these days and has smeared the face of the United States as a failing state and Iran as a heroic nation.

  1. The pre-planning of the war was not initiated by the US political establishment or its military. Rather, it was the war-mongering idea of Netanyahu from about 40 years ago, painted with far-fetched, unachievable aims, and was practically lobbied by AIPAC through Zionists and Neocons within the US political system. He then found the right opportunity to pressure President Trump to strike Iran after the media exposed the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
  2. None of the objectives that were loudly claimed to be the reasons for unleashing the aggressive war on Iran have been achieved so far. "Regime change" has basically failed; there is no certainty that the nuclear program has been completely eradicated, and the Strait of Hormuz is still under the control of the IRGC. The so-called "most powerful army" in the world has suffered a humiliating defeat it never imagined at the hands of a comparatively much weaker country militarily: Iran.
  3. While Trump repeatedly claimed that the Iranian navy, ground forces, and air force were destroyed, the technological superiority of the US Army has been completely defeated, and it has failed on the ground. Every day, several hi-tech US drones and several of its top-class fighter jets, including the untouchable and so-called formidable jets, are being shot down. Interestingly, all this billions-of-dollars-worth of military equipment is being shot down by relatively very cheap Iranian military drones and interceptors designed and developed indigenously.
  4. If the US were indeed winning the war, the top American army generals and officials would be awarded medals and honors. However, adding to the current quagmire, several of its top military officials, including the chief of staff of the US Army, have been fired by the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. This is strong evidence not only of the failure of the top military leadership in their practical war strategy but also indicates their disagreement with Trump and Hegseth.
  5. There is rising global condemnation of the illegal and unnecessary war against Iran, which has now isolated the US and its ally, the rogue Zionist regime. Especially the bombing of Minab School, which caused the brutal massacre of nearly 170 school children, has led to worldwide protests and sympathy for the Iranian nation, despite the US propaganda of face-saving excuses. Aside from nearly all Asian, Latin American, and African countries that have opposed this aggression against Iran, the European allies of the US and members of NATO have decided that they will not take part in this war and will not allow their airspace for US military purposes.
  6. The rallies all over the U and many European countries against Trump, his international and domestic policies, and his close relationship with the child and female sex mafia chief Jeffrey Epstein have led to a new movement that is growing day by day and seeks to ultimately remove him from power. There is a strong possibility that he will be impeached next year.
  7. The decline of US power started several years ago and has been progressing steadily because of several factors. The internal factors include rising political corruption, instability of government and private institutions, a wide gap between rich and poor, over three trillion dollars of national debt, suppression of freedom of speech, undue intervention in academic affairs by polarized government policies, violent suppression of protests in top universities, nationwide police brutality (especially recently by ICE), racial injustice, blockade of immigrants who were the backbone of the low-paid workforce for years, and highly intelligent students and intellectuals who were the basis of the intellectual and technological superiority of American universities and institutions. There is also rising public awareness that members of the United States political establishment are serving the interests of the Zionist regime rather than the interests of their own country. Finally, there is a media campaign that calls for a renewal of the whole so-called democratic but tyrannically capitalist system of the United States.
  8. The external factors that have turned the US into a paper tiger superpower include the long-standing failed foreign policy of the country, which is mostly based on hegemony, regime change operations, targeted assassinations, a war-based economy, all-out support of the Zionist regime, support of weaker countries that serve as vassal states and lack the support of their own people but provide oil and other benefits such as minerals, exploitations and interventions in several Asian, African, and Latin American countries, and overall behaving as hegemon in every country, bypassing the United Nations. In addition, the launch of the recent MAGA project introduced by Trump, with aggressive policies of high-handed tariffs and derogatory political and economic tactics even against friendly nations, has significantly contributed to its overall decline.

Israel's air defenses overwhelmed by cluster-warhead Iranian missiles: Reports

Iran's changing tactics in firing missiles toward the Israeli-occupied territories have created a real challenge for the Israeli regime's missile interceptor systems, according to sources within the regime who say the systems are effectively failing to counter the growing threat of Iranian missiles.

A Tuesday report by IRNA cited analyses published in the Israeli media showing that Iran's increasing use of missiles equipped with multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRV) has become a major challenge for Israeli air defense systems.

It said Iran is in fact using a "tactical hole" in the structure of Israel's missile defense by firing ballistic missiles with warheads that carry dozens of smaller sub-munitions.

Sources said that those sub-munitions are dispersed at a high altitude, approximately seven kilometers above ground level, and effectively turning one missile into dozens of missiles with lower explosive power but a much higher chance of passing through modern air defense systems.

Israeli sources say the new method used by Iran places immense pressure on the Israeli regime and has led to much higher consumption of interceptor missiles, particularly those used by the David's Sling system and other medium-range systems.

The US-Israel war on Iran has sparked a global fuel crisis as thousands of tankers carrying crucial deliveries of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) remain stranded on either side of the Strait of Hormuz, currently under a blockade imposed by Iran.

On Saturday, Egypt's government said it is among the "best-performing" countries in tackling the crisis because of the measures it has implemented to save on fuel.

Trump says 'whole civilization will die tonight' as Iran deal deadline looms - Middle East Monitor

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday threatened that "a whole civilization will die tonight," as his deadline for reaching a ceasefire agreement with Iran is coming to an end tonight.

With his 'Stone Age' threat to Iran, Trump has unleashed a new age of savagery | Middle East Eye

So US President Donald Trump wants to return Iran to the "Stone Ages where it belongs".

A line intended to project force and intimidate.

Instead, it reveals something far more telling: not strength, but a profound illiteracy of history, of civilisation, and of the very region he threatens to dismantle.

Little does the brutish real estate mogul, confined to the shallow logic of deals and property, understand that Iran, historically Persia, was shaping the foundations of organised civilisation long before the modern West existed in any meaningful form, and centuries before the United States was born.

This is not rhetorical flourish. It is a historical fact.

US strikes Iran's Kharg Island as Trump threatens end to 'whole civilization' (PHOTOS, VIDEOS) - RT World News

The US has struck more than 50 military targets on Iran's Kharg Island, including bunkers, radar systems, and ammunition depots, according to Iranian and Western media reports.

Explosions were reported at the island's oil terminal - a critical hub for Iran's exports - with no immediate confirmation of casualties or damage. The strikes come hours before a deadline set by US President Donald Trump over the Strait of Hormuz, marking a sharp escalation in the conflict.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards warned of broader retaliation, saying any crossing of Tehran's "red lines" would trigger a response "beyond the region," adding that it would target infrastructure "to deprive the United States and its allies of oil and gas in the region for years."

12bytes: Contrary to what most media is saying, Kharg Island is not "critical" for Iran oil exports, rather it is only one hub from which Iran can export oil.

Even U.S. Generals Recognize that U.S. Boots on the Ground in Iran Would Be Catastrophic - CovertAction Magazine

As public support for the war in Iran dips lower and lower, the Trump administration is not only threatening a massive bombing campaign but appears to be planning a large-scale ground invasion, including (1) seizure of Iran's main export terminal at Kharg Island, and (2) raids on nuclear facilities.

The U.S. Army has deployed part of the 82nd Airborne Division, positioning an initial entry force of thousands of soldiers for possible ground operations.

The U.S. military is readying for weeks of troop operations on the ground, though the government claims the "operation would 'fall short of a full-scale invasion.'"

But, as Global Defense News/Army Recognition Group admits, this would "...represent a significant escalation, exposing U.S. forces to sustained retaliation..."

Even U.S. Generals seem acknowledge this with Trump having fired General Randy George, the U.S. Army Chief of Staff, Major General William Greene Jr., the army chief of chaplains, and General David Hodne, the Commander of Army Tranformation and Training Command, who all are thought to have opposed the proposed ground invasion.

Iran will plunge Middle East into 'darkness' if Trump escalates war | Middle East Eye

A senior Iranian source told Reuters they were prepared to plunge the Middle East into darkness as "the US has not changed its tone" on the conflict.

"There are no negotiations with the US, which wants Iran to surrender to pressure, and we will show flexibility when the U.S. shows flexibility on its part," he said.

"The US wants the Strait of Hormuz reopened, Iran will not open it in exchange for 'empty promises.' If the US attacks Iran's power stations, the entire region and Saudi Arabia will be in complete darkness. And if the situation gets out of control, Iran's allies will also close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait."

Press TV Exclusive: US suffered major strategic defeat in failed Isfahan operation

It has now become clear that this operation had no connection to the claimed rescue of a downed F-15 fighter pilot, a narrative initially pushed by American officials. Instead, evidence examined and confirmed by Press TV indicates that the real objective was to infiltrate and attack one of Iran's nuclear facilities in Isfahan.

The landing site for C-130 transport aircraft, chosen based on previous reconnaissance, was an abandoned airstrip located dangerously close to one of these nuclear sites.

The Americans miscalculated, believing that Iran's air defense would be unable to confront the aircraft involved in the operation. However, Press TV learned that the deployment of numerous US aircraft occurred while the Iranian Armed Forces were in full alert, waiting for them. In fact, American special forces fell directly into a trap set by Iranian forces.

The Iranian Armed Forces, including the Army, Law Enforcement (Faraja), the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and local popular forces, initially did not show a serious reaction to the landing of the first C-130, which was carrying dozens of special forces commandos. Evidence shows this aircraft veered somewhat off the runway while landing at the abandoned dirt airstrip.

Minutes later, a second C-130 aircraft approached, carrying specialized vehicles, several MH-6 Little Bird helicopters, and other support equipment. At that moment, Iranian forces on the scene targeted the second aircraft before it could land, turning its normal landing into an emergency one. Two Black Hawk helicopters also arrived shortly after.

It was at this moment that the aircraft, helicopters, and commandos who had disembarked from the first plane became perfect targets for the Iranian Armed Forces.

After the special forces realized they had fallen into the trap, the White House situation room made a critical decision: the main operation to infiltrate the nuclear site was changed into a desperate rescue operation for the dozens of US commandos trapped under Iranian fire.

US MILITARY LOOKS RIDICULOUS AS IRAN AMBUSHES ISFAHAN OP, 12 AIRCRAFT OBLITERATED | Robert Inlakesh

12bytes: For those that aren't subscribed to Rachael's Substack, here's her video from yesterday. Inlakesh discusses the retarded IDF tactics any why they result in fantastically embarrassing defeats (the number of destroyed IDF tanks is probably approaching 150 by now). Among other items, he also talks about the strict Israeli censorship regarding damage and the uselessness of the so-called "Iron Dome".

Iran is reporting the complete destruction of at least 12 American aircraft in Isfahan, following the attempted U.S. Military operation over the weekend: two MC-130 transport planes, four Little Bird helicopters, four Black Hawk helicopters, and two MQ-9 Reaper drones.

This, as questions remain about what the U.S. was attempting in the region, as it was a significant distance from the pilot it claimed to be rescuing from an F-15E fighter jet downed by Iran, near the Persian Gulf.

Independent Journalist Robert Inlakesh noted that it was expected the U.S. would retrieve its owns pilots (it knew their location and Iran didn't), but the fact that the U.S. Military sent in a dozen aircraft and 100 special ops in a convoluted mission that sounds like a Hollywood movie is just embarrassing, and shows the U.S. has no real strategy.

But while the Trump Admin begs for a ceasefire from Iran, and Tehran points to its demands for an end to U.S. and Israeli aggression across the region, we are reminded that Iran has a planned response for every escalation pursued by its opponents.

White House denies it is considering using nuclear weapons in Iran | Middle East Eye

Kheybar-Shekan missiles were used in the strikes, which are known for their precision and capability to hit strategic sites.

The IRGC warned of carrying out heavier retaliatory attacks against the occupied territories, adding that all the Israeli regime's industrial, infrastructure and military centers will be targeted in response to the "heinous crimes" against Iran.

It also called on residents of the occupied territories to evacuate the current centers immediately.

The commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force also confirmed the deployment of twin missile launchers, describing it as the beginning of a "new phase" in Iran's retaliatory operations.

Lebanon's resistance confronts Israeli air force, targets military gatherings, vehicles - Yemen Press Agency

BEIRUT, April 07 (YPA) - Lebanon's Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that it had carried out a series of intensive military operations targeting positions and troop concentrations of the Israeli enemy's army, as well as settlements in the northern areas of the occupied Palestinian territories, amid ongoing border escalation.

It also reported targeting two military helicopters over the town of Al-Bayada, forcing them to withdraw. The statement further noted that a Merkava tank was directly hit during the operations.

According to the statement, the attacks included rocket and artillery shelling of Israeli troop gatherings and military vehicles in several border towns, including Taiba, Al-Bayada, Rashaf, and Beit Lev, with confirmed casualties reported among the targeted forces.

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC):

  • An advanced US MQ-9 drone was intercepted and destroyed by the IRGC air defense system, within the country's integrated defense system, in the skies over Isfahan. This is the fifth enemy drone to be destroyed in Isfahan in the past week.
  • An Orbiter 4 drone was also intercepted and destroyed in the skies over Kermanshah by the new advanced defense system, which operates under the control of the country's integrated air defense network.

  • The gathering and command control centers of the US "Victoria" base in Baghdad were also targeted by successful and powerful strikes with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
  • At least five hiding and organization sites of terrorist groups in the regions of northern Iraq were also effectively targeted by drone strikes following intelligence identification.
  • A US MQ9 drone was downed over the skies of Qeshm Island. The operation was conducted jointly by the advanced air defense systems of the IRGC Navy and Ground Force.

Wave 99: IRGC pounds US petchem sites, vows no restraint' if Iranian infrastructure hit

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has pounded US-owned petrochemical sites in the Wave 99 of its sweeping retaliatory strikes, warning the invading US-Zionist coalition and its regional partners that any further attacks on Iranian infrastructure will be met with zero restraint.

The operation was carried out by the IRGC's Naval and Aerospace forces starting at dawn today, according to the official statement.

[...]

During the operation, Iranian forces targeted US bases and interests in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, as well as military gathering centers and command-and-control hubs in the occupied Palestinian territories, using ballistic and cruise missiles alongside suicide drones, according to the statement.

In the first phase of the attacks, the largest petrochemical complexes owned by American companies-including Sadara, ExxonMobil, and Dow Chemical-located in the Jubail region of Saudi Arabia were successfully targeted, the statement reported.

A large petrochemical complex belonging to the American company Chevron Phillips, situated in Ju'aymah, Saudi Arabia, was also effectively struck by medium-range missiles and suicide drones, the statement added.

Furthermore, a container ship belonging to the Zionist regime was hit with precision in a combined intelligence and missile operation, the statement read. The vessel was attempting to use the Khor Fakkan port in the United Arab Emirates to transport military equipment overland to the Zionist regime without passing through the Strait of Hormuz, according to the statement.

The destruction of this ship serves as a stark warning to any vessels attempting to cooperate with the Zionist regime and the United States in any capacity, the statement emphasized.

Iranian forces also targeted the position of the American terrorist aircraft carrier strike group "CVN 72" deep in the Indian Ocean, utilizing long-range naval cruise missiles, the statement declared.

That responsibility now rests with you. With us. With We the People.

A Guide to Lobbying:

Find your Member of Congress and both your Senators:

House: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

Senate: https://www.senate.gov/general/resources/pdf/senators_phone_list.pdf

Call their office directly (websites are linked from the directory above) or phone the Capitol Switchboard and politely ask to be transferred: 1 (202) 224-3121

Ask for your representative's office. Politely speak to staff. They are usually very young so be nice to them. They are likely as intimidated as you may feel if this is your first time to lobby like this.

Say something like, "My name is XXX. I am a constituent and a primary voter. Please ensure that our representative votes NO on any WAR APPROPRIATIONS BILL."

Please also write to your representatives. Contact makes a difference. You can also go to their District or DC offices in person. Schedule ahead of time if you want to have an official meeting. Bring your friends, family and community with you! Your engagement makes a difference.

Be respectful, polite and confident in what you are asking for.
