Mutiny on the Ford. War imminent? DDD says 'unlikely'.
Everybody, including myself, thinks that a U.S.-Israel war with Iran is imminent. I've listened to many former high-ranking military people, analysts and military intelligence and war planners like Scott Ritter and they all tend to agree that you don't deploy forces like the U.S. has and then turn around and come home without pulling the trigger. They tend to view the current deployment strategy as being on auto-pilot, meaning that its direction is static. Deep Dive Defense disagrees however, and they make a very interesting case to support their position.

Mutiny on the Gerald Ford - by Alex Krainer
It appears that the U.S. is now relearning the lessons of overextending and unbalancing itself through excessive reliance on its armed forces. This has always been one of the Achilles heels of empires through history and the United States is not exempted from these limitations. Even the greatest fighting force in history of the Milky Way galaxy is manned by ordinary humans who come with limited endurance, attitudes, opinions and fragile morale.
[...]
Apparently, the issues were self-inflicted: fatigued troops who aren't looking forward to going to war for Israel, thousands of miles from the U.S. shores, stuffed t-shirts and socks into toilets to deliberately cause the sewage problem. Officially, the ship ship continues high-readiness operations under U.S. Central Command, including "deterrence against Iran and protection of regional allies."

The Calculus of War with Iran
For nearly three decades, the warning has remained structurally identical:
"Iran is months away from a nuclear weapon."
From U.N. podiums to U.S. congressional chambers, Netanyahu has argued:
- Iran's enrichment program constitutes an existential threat.
- Preemption may become unavoidable.
- Delay increases strategic risk.
Each cycle resets the clock.
Each cycle shortens breakout time estimates.
Each cycle fuels urgency.
Yet the terminal event - an operational Iranian nuclear weapon - remains unrealized.
U.S. Sends Fleet Of Tankers To Israel, Evacuates Embassy In Final Preparations For Attack On Iran | South Front
With no deal announced, the deployment of at least nine U.S. refueling tankers arriving at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport came as no surprise. The deployment, confirmed by photos posted to social networks, brought the number of U.S. tankers at the international airport to 14.
The tankers are likely to provide support for US fighter jets aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, which is heading toward Israel's northern coast, in the event that U.S. President Donald Trump orders military strikes on Iran.

The forever prophecy of Iran's imminent collapse | Demystifying Iran with Prof. Mohammad Marandi - YouTube
For more than four decades, Western media have repeatedly predicted the collapse of the Islamic Republic of Iran, yet election after election, sanction after sanction, Iran remained.
In the new episode of Demystifying Iran, presented by Seyed Mohammad Marandi, airing Friday, February 27 at 8:30 pm (Al-Quds time) on Al Mayadeen, it will delve into why these predictions keep failing and what they reveal about Western media's ideological blind spots. From war and sanctions to assassinations and internal unrest, Iran has absorbed shock after shock without collapsing.
The episode poses: Is this a failure of intelligence or a failure of understanding? And can a media landscape ruled by the "Epstein class" ever acknowledge Iran's enduring popular foundation?
Israel's lonely push for war with Iran
Internationally isolated, restrained in Gaza, and unraveling at home, Israel sees another escalation as the only way to maintain its aggressive regional agenda.

Gaza Whistleblower: DEATH BY DESIGN with Anthony Aguilar | DEEP FOCUS with John Kiriakou - YouTube
Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Aguilar joins Deep Focus to discuss what he witnessed inside Gaza - and why he chose to blow the whistle. After accepting a contract to help oversee humanitarian aid distribution, Aguilar says he quickly realized the operation was providing only a fraction of the food needed, no water, and was operating inside active combat zones. What he saw, he says, forced him to speak out - first to Congress, and now publicly.
In this conversation with former CIA officer and whistleblower John Kiriakou, the two compare experiences: the personal cost of exposing government misconduct, retaliation after going public, and the pattern of attacking the messenger rather than the facts. Aguilar details alleged civilian casualties at aid sites, internal resistance to reform, and why he is now running for Congress on a platform rejecting PAC money and foreign influence.
This is a serious and in-depth discussion about war, accountability, patriotism, and what it really means to tell the truth - even when the consequences are personal.
