Speculation on the position of Kirk's shooter (video)
As anyone familiar with hunting or military rifles, i can confidently state that Kirk was not shot from the roof of the Losee Center with an off-the-shelf .30-06 round. That's beyond stupid. So either the alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, used some highly modified round, or the shot came from somewhere else. Ignoring the click-bait title, these guys did a pretty damn good job of demonstrating why Kirk could not have been hit with a .30-06 round from the roof of the Losee Center:
Analysis Solves Kirk Case-Evidence Points Away From Robinson's Position
Charlie kirk was shot with a high-velocity rifle round that lodged in his body. However, that shot could not have been taken from Tyler Robinson's supposed sniper position. Which means Charlie's killer is probably still out there...
It seems obvious that a high-power round was fired given the cavitation we see in Kirk's chest. Assuming there was no exit wound, and assuming the shot could not have been fired by Robinson, then the most likely scenario seems to be that the shot was fired from a high angle to Kirk's left. Such a scenario may account for both the massive cavitation in the chest as well as the lack of an exit wound. There seems to be potentially multiple positions from where such a shot could be fired, but the problem is that all of them seem to be in public view.
