The U.S. proxy war against Russia in Ukraine is no longer a proxy war according to the Russian government. On Tuesday morning, November 19, at 3:25 AM GMT, Ukraine fired 6, U.S. made, medium range ATACMS missiles into the Bryansk region of Russia. Russia's defenses intercepted 5 of the missiles and damaged the 6th one which apparently still hit its designated target, a weapons depot. According to military analysts, the ATACMS missiles use non-exportable encryption for targeting and other purposes, thus only U.S. personnel have access to these systems and it is for this reason that Russia views this attack as having come directly from the United States.
President Biden (presumably, since he's largely brain dead) acted in direct opposition to the will of the American people who elected Donald Trump for, in part, his anti-war platform, by authorizing the use of U.S. made ATACMS missiles by Zelensky. This unconscionable act by the Biden administration has changed the face of the confrontation according to the Russian government. There is speculation that the Biden administration intends to expand the conflict and then hand it over to the Trump administration, thereby making it more difficult for Trump to end the Ukraine war as he promised to do.
Military analyst and former UN weapons inspector, Scott Ritter, thinks Russia may react by completely destroying Kiev using a thermobaric bomb rather than a nuclear weapon.

Multiple US outlets reported over the weekend that Biden had lifted the restrictions on Kiev's use of US-supplied rockets. While the White House has neither confirmed nor denied the news officially, a volley of missiles was fired at Russia's Bryansk Region early on Tuesday.
"By authorizing long range missiles to strike inside Russia, Biden is committing an unconstitutional Act of War that endangers the lives of all US citizens," Massie, a Republican from Kentucky, posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday.
"This is an impeachable offense, but the reality is he's an emasculated puppet of a deep state," he added.

Ukraine Fires First Long-Range US Missiles into Russia, Kremlin Vows Response
Russia said on Tuesday that Ukraine had used the missiles against a facility in the Bryansk region close to the border overnight.
"At 03:25 am (0025 GMT), the enemy struck a site in the Bryansk region with six ballistic missiles. According to confirmed data, US-made ATACMS tactical missiles were used," said a defense ministry statement.
Lavrov said the 300-kilometer (186-mile) range missiles could not have been fired without US technical assistance.
Moscow has said the use of Western weapons against its internationally recognised territory would make the US a direct participant in the conflict.
