Just saw this on the Iranian news site, Press TV. This could be the match, lit by genocidal Joe Biden, that starts a third world war.

Biden allows Ukraine to use US missiles to strike inside Russia: Sources

US President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use Washington-supplied long-range missiles to strike deeper inside Russia, according to American officials.

The Biden administration's decision allowed Kiev to use the Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMs, for attacks farther inside Russia, two US officials and a source familiar with the decision said on Sunday.

Biden's move came following Donald Trump's presidential election victory. Trump has said he would swiftly end the war.

Observers said the Trump administration might not continue the United States' vital military support for Ukraine.

The sources were not authorized to discuss the US decision publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity. They also said that Ukraine plans to conduct its first long-range attacks in the coming days.

On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the missiles would "speak for themselves."

"Today, many in the media are saying that we have received permission to take appropriate actions," he said. "But strikes are not made with words. Such things are not announced."

Zelenskyy has been calling on Biden for months to allow Ukraine to strike military targets deeper inside Russia with Western-supplied missiles.

Russia has warned that it would see Ukraine's use of US weapons as a major escalation.

Vladimir Dzhabarov, first deputy head of the Russian upper house's international affairs committee, said that Washington's decision to let Ukraine strike deep into Russia with long-range US missiles could lead to World War Three and will receive a swift response, the TASS news agency reported.

Biden authorizes use of US long-range weapons to strike inside Russia - media - Military & Defense - TASS

NEW YORK, November 17. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden has allowed Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range ballistic missiles to strike inside Russia, The New York Times said, citing US officials.

The newspaper noted that the decision was made two months before Biden vacates the presidential office. "Mr. Biden's decision is a major change in U.S. policy," it wrote, adding that this decision has divided his advisers.

According to The New York Times the long-range missiles, known as the Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS will be used against the Russian and North Korean military "to help [Ukraine] defend its forces in the Kursk region of Russia." However, US officials said that they don't' expect that this step will "fundamentally alter the course of the war," the newspaper added.

However, it is not ruled out that Biden may allow to use American missiles to deliver strikes not only on the Kursk Region but also elsewhere in Russia, it noted. "Some U.S. officials said they feared that Ukraine's use of the missiles across the border could prompt President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia to retaliate with force against the United States and its coalition partners," The New York Times noted.

Trump may review Biden's decision on strikes inside Russia with US missiles - World - TASS

WASHINGTON, November 17. /TASS/. The US next president, Donald Trump, may review his predecessor's decision to authorize the use of US-supplied long-range missiles to strike inside Russia, a member of Trump's transition team who asked not to be named told TASS.

"I suspect most everything will be under review. The United States has only one president at any given time. Until the afternoon of January 20, 2025, that president is Joe Biden. Authorizing the use of those missiles was his decision, but not for much longer," he said when asked whether Biden's decision could be reviewed by Trump when he takes office in January 2025.

The problem is that this could all get out of hand by the time Trump is inaugurated.
