Iran-Israel-U.S. developments - IRAN ATTACKS US BASES (23-Jun-2025) (update 2)

"I don't believe in western morality, i.e. don't kill civilians or children, don't destroy holy sites, don't fight during holiday seasons, don't bomb cemeteries, don't shoot until they shoot first because it is immoral. The only way to fight a moral war is the Jewish way: Destroy their holy sites. Kill men, women and children (and cattle)." -- Rabbis Manis Friedman, Ask The Rabbis in the May/June edition of Moment (source)

The key nuclear allegation that started the war was coaxed from a Palantir counter-intelligence algorithm, by Alastair Crooke - The Unz Review

The underpinnings to the 12 June 2025 IAEA Resolution - giving pretext for Israel to strike Iran (and crafted to sway President Trump to dismiss his own Director of National Intelligence's warnings that there was no evidence of Iran moving towards weaponisation) - reportedly were drawn not from Mossad or other western intelligence services, but from IAEA software. As DD Geo-politics outlines, since 2015, the IAEA has relied on Palantir's Mosaic platform, a $50-million AI system that sifts through millions of data points - satellite imagery, social media, personnel logs - to predict nuclear threats:

Iran launches missiles at US bases in Middle East - media - RT World News

Tehran has launched retaliatory strikes against US military installations across the Middle East, Iranian state-run media reported on Monday. Operation 'Herald of Victory' has so far hit facilities in Qatar and Iraq.

Unverified footage circulating online shows multiple projectiles in the skies above Qatar. Anti-aircraft defenses were apparently activated, with multiple interceptor missiles fired.

The attack reportedly targeted Al Udeid Air Base, a sprawling military installation used by the Qatari, US and UK militaries. It was not immediately clear whether any incoming projectiles made it through.

Iran's top general vows non-stop operations until Netanyahu is brought to his knees

Iran Launches Longest Missile Attack, Israel Responds By Hitting 'Regime Targets' (Videos)South Front

Iran carried out its longest attack on Israel on June 23, launching six or seven ballistic missiles in four waves over a 40-minute period, according to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

Sirens sounded in northern, central and southern Israel, including settlements close to the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, amid the attack. The Magen David Adom ambulance service said that there were no casualties, but multiple impacts were reported.

The Israel Electric Corporation said that one ballistic missile impact near a "strategic infrastructure facility" in the south, caused temporary power disruptions in several settlements in the area.

An additional ballistic missile was launched from Iran around an hour later, again triggering sirens in the north of Israel. However, the IDF said that it was intercepted. .

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps later said in a statement that "strategic targets were struck throughout the occupied territories."

Amid the missile attack heavy strikes hit the Iranian capita, with Defense Minister Israel Katz announcing that the IDF was "striking with unprecedented force regime targets and governmental repression bodies in the heart of Tehran."

[...]

According to Katz, the targets attacked by the IDF included "the Basij headquarters, the Evin Prison for political prisoners and regime opponents, the 'Destruction of Israel' clock in Palestine Square, the internal security headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards, the ideology headquarters, and other regime targets."

Later, the IDF said in a statement that Israeli Air Force fighter jets dropped 100 munitions on the targets in Tehran within two hours.

The military also confirmed carrying out a strike against the access roads to Iran's underground Fordo nuclear site earlier in the day. It said that the strikes were intended to "disrupt" the site's accessibility, after it was bombed by the United States along with the sites of Natanz and Isfahan a day earlier.

While recent development, including the direct intervention of the U.S., suggest that confrontation between Israel and Iran could soon spark and all-out war in the Middle East, both sides may be playing their final cards before de-escalating.

Still, the end of the ongoing confrontation wont mean the end of the Israeli-Iranian conflict. Both sides has lost deterrence and due to this, they will likely exchange strikes more frequently from now on.

Meet the Israeli fanatic running Ted Cruz's office - The Grayzone

After Ted Cruz's humiliation by Tucker Carlson, attention has focused on a top staffer of the self-proclaimed "leading defender of Israel in the United States Senate."

On June 18, former Fox host Tucker Carlson published a video which, though marketed as an interview, was more of a snuff film. Over the course of two hours, Carlson can be seen rhetorically disemboweling his debate opponent, US Senator Ted Cruz, on the politician's determination to see the US attack Iran on Israel's behalf.

While Cruz presents himself as a Christian Zionist moved by his own zealotry to support Israel, the politician's Tel Aviv-driven policy line can also be traced back to his Senior Advisor for Policy and Communications, an Israeli-born Zionist lobbyist named Omri Ceren.

True Promise III: Iran unleashes several new-generation missiles in fresh wave

Iran carried out the new phase of Operation True Promise III with a barrage of new-generation missiles, which made direct impacts across occupied territories.

[...]

It added that drone combat operations "will not cease for a moment," prompting the occupiers of the occupied territories "to constantly endure sirens, fleeing, and seeking shelter."

Some sections of Israeli media reported widespread destruction of streets in several cities due to powerful blast waves on Monday that sent settlers back into the underground shelters.

For the first time, air raid sirens blared across the occupied territories for 35 minutes, reports said, indicating the massive wave of Iranian missiles used on Monday.

Once again, the multi-tier Israeli air defense systems failed to intercept the new-generation Iranian missiles, which made their way to intended targets across the occupied territories.

According to the source, Kheibar Shekan, Emad, Qadr, and Fattah-1 missiles were used in Monday's operation, which struck important Israeli military facilities across the occupied territories, including in Safed, Lachish, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Beit She'an.

The missiles directly targeted the Ashdod power plant, causing widespread power outages across the occupied territories, reports said.

These operations are in response to the continued Israeli military aggression against Iran, which has led to the martyrdom of more than 400 people since June 13, including top-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, professors, athletes and students.

Mossad-affiliated network dismantled in Iran amid imposed war; a spy executed

Iranian security agencies have dismantled a network affiliated with the Israeli spy agency Mossad amid the ongoing war imposed on the Islamic Republic and executed its ring-leader.

The agent had been providing sensitive intelligence to the Zionist regime and was executed early on Monday following a conviction and completion of due process, with the ruling upheld by Iran's Supreme Court.

Identified as Mohammad Amin Mahdavi-Shayesteh, he was the ringleader of a cyber-team affiliated with Mossad and had knowingly collaborated with the spy agency of the Zionist regime.

Anti-Israeli Hacker Group Disables Key Israeli Military Contractor in Targeted Cyberattack - World news - Tasnim News Agency

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - A pro-resistance cyber group has claimed responsibility for a major cyberattack on an Israeli military-linked aluminum producer, disrupting operations and seizing classified data tied to the regime's defense infrastructure.

The CyberIsnaadFront hacker group announced it had successfully carried out a cyber operation against BenSimon Aluminum Industries, a company directly contracted by the Israeli military, ministry of war, and other regime institutions.

According to the group, the attack shut down all operational systems within the facility and extracted sensitive data, then subsequently destroyed the original data to prevent recovery.

Trump escalates tensions with Iran by provocative remarks - Tehran Times

TEHRAN - U.S. President Donald Trump has provocatively made comments regarding Iran's political system, echoing his past rhetoric and further heightening hostilities.

In a post on his social media platform, Trump reignited controversy by openly invoking the possibility of regime change in the ancient country. "It's not politically correct to use the term, 'Regime Change,' but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn't there be a Regime change??? MIGA!!!" he wrote late on Sunday.

Trump's hostile remarks coincide with official American warnings to Tehran against any retaliation in response to recent U.S. airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow.

It is noteworthy that the provocative language from the U.S. president comes at a time when Iranian society has demonstrated remarkable unity and cohesion and resilience in the face of brutal illegal act of aggression that started by the Zionist regime of Israel on June 13.

Iran slams US for 'betrayal of diplomacy' after aggression on peaceful nuclear sites

Referring to the tensions in the region, Baghaei warned that the situation is "unprecedentedly dangerous" because now everyone falsely perceives it as a success for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who dragged the US into the regime's war, he said.

Answering the question whether this is the end of diplomacy between Iran and the US, Baghaei said that "diplomacy never ends; that is a rule, that's a principle for Iranians."

He added that Iran never left the negotiating table, but now what they are witnessing is a "betrayal of diplomacy by the Trump administration."

Stressing that no one knows what will happen next, Baghaei said "what is sure is that the responsibility for the consequences of this war must be borne by the US and its ally Israel."

IAEA seeks access to Iran nuclear sites to 'account for' highly enriched uranium stockpiles | Middle East Eye

The head of the United Nations nuclear watchdog on Monday called for its inspectors to be able to return to Iran's nuclear sites in a bid to "account for" its highly enriched uranium stockpiles and called for a cessation of hostilities.

The request follows attacks by Israel and the United States on Iran's nuclear facilities.

"Iran, Israel and the Middle East need peace," Rafael Grossi, director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), told an emergency meeting of the organisation's board of governors in Vienna.

"For that, we must take a number of steps," he said.

"First of all, we must return to the negotiating table and for that allow IAEA inspectors - the guardians on our behalf of the NPT (nuclear non-proliferation treaty) - to go back to Iran's nuclear sites and account for the stockpiles of uranium, including, most importantly, the 400 kilogrammes enriched to 60 percent."

Video: Trump Just Tried To Crush Iran - He May Not Survive His Failure by KernowDamo

Video: Trump's attack on Iran wasn't meant to "do the job." It was meant to provoke a response.

12bytes: The purpose of the attack may also have been to provide an exit-ramp for Trump by allowing him to claim, as he did, that the U.S. obliterated Iran's nuclear program, which he did not, and thus wash his hands of the whole thing, claim victory, and save what ever is left of his zombied Christian-Zionist support base. Of course this assumes that Iran won't retaliate. While many people expect Iran to bomb U.S. military bases in the ME, i'm not so sure.

The Israeli and U.S. attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities accomplished exactly nothing regarding Iran's nuclear enrichment program for peaceful purposes. As Scott Ritter said, the U.S. basically put on a multi-million dollar fireworks show by bombing some sand dunes. In other words, while Iran is sort of playing up the damage for strategic reasons, they may be a lot less pissed-off than observers might assume. By bombing sites that were already bombed by Israel, for which the nuclear materials had already been relocated, and giving Iran 48 hours advance notice, and by not using any resources from ME military bases that are within Iran's reach, Trump seems to be cowering to Iran and essentially begging them to not retaliate.

Given the massively embarrassing failures of the U.S. to deter the Houthi's, to win its proxy war with Russia, and to prevent missiles from penetrating Israel's "Iron Dome", which includes it's inability to intercept Iran's hyper-sonic missiles, the United States military is looking spectacularly weak and thus i think the scenario i outlined seems quite logical ... either that, or i'm completely wrong and the delusional D.C. ding-bats are actually demented enough to think they accomplished something by blowing up sand dunes.

Zionist Israel as the Assassination Nation, by Ron Unz - The Unz Review

But since Israel's fervent supporters completely dominate the global media, they can easily transform black into white and up into down. Thus, the bizarre result of this illegal, unprovoked Israeli attack upon Iran was a wave of public statements strongly sympathetic to Israel made by European and American political leaders from President Donald Trump on down, thereby demonstrating that all these powerful, once independent nations had merely become subservient vassals to the Jewish State.

Gaza war death toll rises | Middle East Eye

At least 55,998 people, most of them women and children, have been killed in Israel's war on Gaza since 7 October 2023, medical sources said on Monday.

The number of wounded has risen to 131,559. The sources added that many victims remain trapped under rubble in areas rescue teams have been unable to reach.

In the past 24 hours, 39 people were confirmed killed, including one body recovered from debris, and 317 others were wounded and taken to hospitals across the territory.

Since 18 March, when Israeli forces resumed operations following the collapse of a ceasefire, 5,685 people have been killed and 19,518 wounded, the sources said.

HARVARD REPORT: The Hidden Numbers Behind Gaza's Real Death Toll - 21st Century Wire

A recent report prepared by Garb Yaakov, a Professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, and published on The President & Fellows of Harvard College Dataverse website, has substantiated what critics of Israel's actions in Gaza have long asserted, regarding the actual number of individuals killed by Israel in the Gaza Strip. The report suggests that the real number significantly surpasses the officially reported death toll, as victims who are buried under debris or dismembered are not included in mainstream reports.

[...]

The report presents maps, locational data, and an initial concise analysis of the Israeli/American/GHF aid distribution facilities that were swiftly constructed and commenced operations in Gaza in May 2025. The overall geographic relationship of these facilities to the Gazan population and the infrastructures of Israeli military control over Gaza, along with their consistent internal design, indicates that their architecture is primarily tailored to align with Israeli military strategies and tactics, rather than being focused on a comprehensive humanitarian relief effort. The reports unequivocally demonstrate that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) compounds are strategically placed and built to be inaccessible to most, particularly to the one million residents of Gaza City, cut off by the Netzarim corridor. The current system fails to support the 1.85 million accounted for, let alone the 377,000 missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of civilians killed across Gaza as Israeli attacks target homes and aid seekers | Middle East Eye

Israeli forces killed at least 21 Palestinians and wounded dozens more on Monday in a series of air strikes and shootings across the Gaza Strip, including areas where civilians had gathered to receive humanitarian aid, according to Wafa news agency.

According to local sources, four civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a house in Jabalia al-Balad, in the north of the enclave.

In the south, Israeli troops opened fire near an aid distribution centre northwest of Rafah, killing 10 people. Witnesses said large crowds had gathered in the area to collect much-needed food and supplies.

Mother in Germany separated from one-year-old son over Palestinian activism | Middle East Eye

A Palestinian-Jordanian woman with German residency was separated from her one-year-old after German authorities deemed the child a security threat, she and her lawyers say.

The European Legal Support Centre, which is supporting her case, say the woman is the latest victim of the German state's weaponisation of residency issues to repress Palestinian solidarity.

Since 2019, the Amsterdam-based legal advocacy group has documented at least 22 incidents in Germany in which residency status or restrictions to freedom of movement have been used to stifle such solidarity.
