Iran escalates attacks on bases, Israel, 'hunts down' CIA, troops; Palestinians forced to demo own homes - IRAN WAR NEWS - 13-Mar-2026 (update 4 - BAD NEWS)
12bytes: Rather than repeating myself for these stories regarding Iranian attacks on their enemies in general, and particularly those upon the US bases in the Gulf region, i'll say it here: These bases (Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, etc.) are constantly reporting that the incoming Iranian missiles and drones are largely being intercepted, or that those that weren't intercepted fell out of the sky, or fell into the sea, or caused only superficial damage, or that the attacks achieved only a symbolic victory, etc.. I can state with 100% confidence that these are lies. These bases have been, or are being destroyed. Some have been evacuated as a result of the attacks and others were evacuated before the war started. Iran has, or is in the process of, depleting enemy air defenses. This is the case for Israel also. Furthermore, no one can stop Iran's hypersonic or multi-warhead missiles and they have only begun to use these weapons. Lastly, it is strictly forbidden for people in the base states, and Israel as well, to report on the damage inflicted by the Iranians. At least several people have been arrested and in one case the penalty is death. Now you know why we're not getting a lot of visual media regarding damage out of Israel or these bases.
UPDATE 4
Escalation ladder with Iran
THE ONLY THING PREVENTING IRAN FROM TARGETING OIL WAS NOT TARGETING THEIR OIL. EPSTEIN-TRUMP JUST BOMBED IT ANYWAY. They don't give a hoot about you. He will sacrifice everything for Israel.
Trump is now sending a token number of marines to go open the Strait of Hormuz. They will all die. This moron does not understand that the issue in the Strait is not the Iranian navy it is the land batteries than can sink ships plus the low cost suicide drones. A few thousand marines will be sent into a turkey shoot.
As the US runs low on stand off munitions, Iran will start shooting down their planes starting with slow moving re-fuelers.

- Countries across the Gulf region, including Qatar and Bahrain, issued evacuation warnings as Iran continued missile and drone attacks.
IRGC hits Israeli military sites, US bases in major offensive
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched the 44th phase of its Operation True Promise 4, targeting a series of key military sites in Israeli occupied lands and US bases across West Asia.
The IRGC announced Friday that it had carried out a significant military operation in honor of prominent martyrs in the resistance movement, including Iran's legendary General Qasem Soleimani, Hezbollah's iconic leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and senior Palestinian resistance leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar.
The operation, carried out on the 23rd night of the holy month of Ramadan, targeted various locations in northern Israeli-occupied territories, including Kiryat Shmona, Haifa, and the city of Hadera, as well as US military installations.
The IRGC also said it had struck the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Manama and other American military bases in the region.

Armageddon Now! Israel's Nuclear Weapons Program | naked capitalism
I hope reader will circulate this important and well-documented post on Israel's nuclear weapons development, which includes details such as the fact that Israel has used Gaza as a nuclear waste dump. By Kevin Kirk, who has worked all over the world, first as an engineer, then a visiting university Professor and finally as a diplomatic trainer. He mourns the loss of what could have been in Israel if Jews and Arabs had lived in peace together
Ever since Israel came into being in 1948 - by a vote of 33 in favour (with 13 countries voting against it and with 11 abstentions) by United Nations resolution 181, which also included a fully autonomous Palestinian state - Israel has sought a nuclear deterrence. Indeed, it was stated by the first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, that: "Science could compensate us for what Nature has denied us." He believed it would show his commitment to Zionism, the political ideology that underpins the state of Israel.
It was considerably aided by the fact that many of the leading scientists that worked on the Manhattan Project were Jewish and some were enticed into relocating to and supporting the new state.
UPDATE 3
Trump Says 'Powerful' Strikes Hit Kharg Island, Threatens To Hit Iran's Oil Hub If Hormuz Is Not Opened | South Front
President Donald Trump on March 13 said that the United States carried out "one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East" against "every military target" on Iran's Kharg Island.
The island is Iran's most critical maritime oil export hub, handling roughly 90-95 percent of its crude exports and acting as a central, vulnerable lifeline for the nation's economy.
"Moments ago, at my direction, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran's crown jewel, Kharg Island," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"For reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island," he added.
Trump threatened, however, that he could reconsider this decision if Iran continues to interfere with the freedom of passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Strait of Hormuz is the world's most critical maritime chokepoint, with roughly one-fifth of global oil consumption passing through. The waterway serves as the primary gateway for energy exports from major producers like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait.
"However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision," Trump said.
"Iran's Military, and all others involved with this Terrorist Regime, would be wise to lay down their arms, and save what's left of their country, which isn't much!," he added.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) previously warned that any ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz would be attacked, and the waterway has effectively been closed since the start of the American-Israeli war on the Islamic Republic, with at least 16 vessels hit by Iranian fire there and in nearby waters.
In its first response to Trump's threat, the IRGC said that its naval forces' attacks will continue until all American terrorist bases in the region are destroyed.
Trump's latest threat came right after several reports revealed that the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit - permanently based in Japan - was ordered to the Middle East with more than 2,200 marines on three navy ships. The deployment suggests that the U.S. may be planning to take over Kharg Island.
Keith Kellogg, the U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine, said recently that the U.S. and Israel should seize Kharg Island. Kellogg explained during an interview on Fox News that if Kharg Island, located in the Northern Persian Gulf, is taken, "that's 89% of petroleum usage that the Iranians have."
Recent developments indicate that the U.S. is not planning to end the war anytime soon. Kharg Island could soon become the battlefield between American and Iranian forces. Trump's latest threat will likely further raise oil prices, which are currently hovering around $100 per barrel.

IRGC conducts 47th wave of Op. True Promise 4; Zionists warned of days of darkness
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the successful execution of the 47th wave of its ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4 against Zionist and American targets.
According to the Corps' Public Relations office, the latest phase was carried out on Friday.
Inside the occupied territories, the IRGC struck the Negev Desert, including Nevatim, which hosts one of the Israeli regime's largest airbases, the occupied city of Be'er Sheva that serves as the regime's technological epicenter, and the occupied city of Lod.
The Corps also hit al-Udaid, the United States' most important airbase in the West Asia region that is located in Qatar.
Additionally, the IRGC targeted the hiding places of the anti-Iran Komala terrorist group.
The 47th wave of the reprisal employed solid-fuel Kheibar Shekan missiles and liquid-fuel Qadr missiles, the Corps reported.
Earlier, the IRGC announced conducting the 46th wave of the operation, targeting sites inside the occupied territories using Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Qadr missiles.

Lebanese resistance conducts strategic operations against Israeli bases, settlements on "Al-Quds Day" - Yemen Press Agency
BEIRUT, March 14 (YPA) - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced on Friday a series of intensive military operations marking "Al-Quds Day," targeting strategic sites and settlements across northern occupied Palestine and southern Lebanon.
In details statement, the resistance stated that rocket salvos directly struck the Meron Air Surveillance Base and the Gev'a Drone Command Center east of Safed. A squadron of suicide drones launched a targeted strike on the Kiryat Shmona settlement. Precise rocket barrages targeted the settlements of Nahariya, Even Menachem, and Kabri throughout the afternoon.
These operations represent a qualitative escalation aimed at Israeli command and control centers, reinforcing the unity of fronts on International Quds Day.

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on Mar. 13
Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.
On Friday, March 13, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.
Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 46 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.
Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.
Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.
Following is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on Friday, March 13:
IRGC launches 45th wave of Operation True Promise 4 using solid-fuel missiles
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced the launch of the 45th wave of Operation True Promise 4 against American and Israeli targets in response to the ongoing US-Israeli terrorist aggression against Iran.
In a statement on Friday afternoon, the IRGC said that solid-fuel and precision Kheybar Shekan missiles have been used in this operations.
It also noted that the operation was conducted in coordination with IRGC Navy as well as drone units of the Iranian Army, IRGC, and Lebanon's Hezbollah.
Further details of the operation will be announced soon.
Photos and videos shared from occupied territories show that missiles have made impacts and hit their targets, bypassing the hyped Iron-Dome system.
Earlier on Friday, Iran's Army said it has carried out a massive drone strike on the headquarters of the Israeli occupation forces in the Beersheba area.
It added that since Friday morning, the Iranian Army has been targeting the headquarters of the Israeli regime's defense forces in the occupied territories in Beersheba using loitering drones launched from various parts of the country.
The 44th Wave of Iran hit hard the northern occupied territory! - YouTube
MILITARY TUBE TODAY - IRGC released footage of the 44th wave of 'Operation True Promise 4,' announcing that missiles and drones struck occupied #NorthernIsrael including American bases across the Gulf. This attack, dedicated to the martyrs of Shajareh Taybeh Elementary School in Minab, and in honor of the martyrs of the resistance, was the "most operational" and heaviest attack on the entity so far. The spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters announced the launch of ultra-heavy missiles on the evening of Friday, March 13, 2026, codenamed "Ya Sahib Al-Zaman," following the overwhelming response of the Iranian people to the Supreme Leader and their participation in the International Al-Quds Day demonstrations. Simultaneously, Hezbollah forces also launched their largest rocket attack yet, with more than 100 launches on Friday night, targeting Haifa and other northern areas. A coordinated effort is being carried out jointly by Iran and Hezbollah, confusing the enemy's layered air defense systems.
As a result, footage that has angered Israel has emerged online, even though the regime has imposed a prison sentence of up to five years for publishing the videos. The siren system collapsed, especially as Hezbollah and Iran jointly launched a wave of ballistic missiles and a barrage of large rockets, "successfully penetrating Israel's multi-layered air defense system." So, direct missile strikes were recorded triggering sirens in several northern cities as defense systems attempted to intercept the projectiles. The failure of the interceptor system to intercept the incoming projectile caused a target in the Galilee region to explode, causing severe temporary damage. Emergency teams responded to reports of fires and falling debris following the continued attacks.
Additionally, a rocket reportedly struck Zarzir, with local media reporting emergency teams were deployed after several settler injuries were confirmed. Ground damage from a direct hit in northern Israel was confirmed in videos. Dozens of buildings appeared to have sustained extensive damage, and the area was reduced to ruins-entire walls collapsed! Iran has not yet verified the exact target, while Israeli authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and the likelihood of casualties. "Wherever you are in this region, you will be buried under the shelling and rubble that are crushing you in the occupied territories," the IRGC commander added.
Iran targets Israeli army's headquarters in Beersheba - Yemen Press Agency
TEHRAN, March 13 (YPA) - The Iranian army carried out drone strikes on the headquarters of the Israeli Defense Forces in the Beersheba area in in southern "Israel".
"On the morning of today, the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran carried out drone strikes from different points of the country on the headquarters of the defense army of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories in Beersheba," the Iranian army said in a statement.
According to the statement, the strikes on other Israeli army facilities will continue in the coming hours.
On Thursday, the Iranian army announced that it had targeted the watchtower of the Palmachim Airbase near Tel Aviv using suicide drones. The base is known as a hub for satellite launches and missile testing and is reported to host air-defense systems such as David's Sling, as well as Hermes 900 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Iran's armed forces said they have been striking Israeli military and strategic sites, as well as US bases in the region, using ballistic missiles and drones. Iranian officials described the attacks as a response to what they called joint US-Israeli aggression.
IRGC: 'Considerable part of Israel's airspace under our control'
The commander of Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it launched a massive retaliatory operation against Israel, effectively disrupting the regime's aerospace monitoring capabilities.
Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi said in a post on X on Friday that 30 super-heavy ballistic missiles-carrying warheads weighing between 1 and 2 tons - have been fired "at specified targets in the occupied territories" on the "night of destiny" - which was observed on Thursday night in Iran.
The operation has successfully disrupted and destroyed key aerospace monitoring and surveillance systems of the regime, he said.
As a result of this operation, added the commander, "a considerable part of the regime's airspace is now under our control."
U.S. Is Sending Thousands Of Marines To Middle East And Their Target May Be Lebanon, Not IranSouth Front
The United States is deploying a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to the Middle East as the war with Iran heats up. Multiple recent reports indicate that the U.S. and Israel may be planning ground operations in Iran, possibly to seize enriched uranium, to capture a key island, or to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. However, it is more likely that the marine unit will end up landing in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, as a part of a wider Israeli invasion.
Hegseth says Gulf states 'going on offensive' against Iran | Middle East Eye
12bytes: Really? What are they going to 'offend' with? Bottle rockets?
US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that Gulf countries are "going on the offensive" as he argued that the US's war on Iran is going in Washington's favour.
"The only thing that is widening is our advantage. Not to mention our Gulf allies stepping up even more now, going on the offence," Hegseth said at a press conference on Friday.
The US's Gulf allies have not said they are joining the US war on Iran, and Hegseth's remarks have already raised eyebrows.
For example, on Friday, he also said that the Strait of Hormuz was "open for transit" except for the fact that Iran was shooting at vessels.
White House divided as Trump struggles to find exit strategy from Iran war: Report
A deepening internal tug-of-war is reportedly paralyzing the White House, as US President Donald Trump's advisors clash over how to define "victory" amid a global energy crisis and significant strategic miscalculations regarding the unassailable resilience of the Iranian nation.
Citing a Trump adviser and sources close to the matter, Reuters reported a stark division within the administration over how to end the war with the Islamic Republic, which is now dragging into its third week.
On one side, the report said, hawks like Senators Lindsey Graham and Tom Cotton are pushing for a sustained offensive against Iran.
They argue that the US must prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and respond forcefully to attacks on American troops and shipping in the Persian Gulf. Iran has always said it does not want to acquire nuclear weapons.
On the other side, political advisors-including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and media figures like Tucker Carlson-are urging an immediate de-escalation. They argue that a prolonged war in West Asia directly violates Trump's core campaign promise to end "stupid" foreign interventions.
Meanwhile, the recent surge in gasoline prices-triggered by US-Israeli aggression against Iran-has concerned Trump's economic advisors, including those from the Treasury Department and the National Economic Council.
According to the report, they have issued dire warnings to the president, arguing that an economic shock will erode Trump's base of support faster than any military setback.
Up to 5,000 US marines and sailors dispatched to Middle East: Report | Middle East Eye
A dispatch of up to 5,000 more American marines and sailors is headed to the Middle East, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing unnamed US officials.
US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is said to have approved a request from US Central Command (Centcom), the Pentagon's Middle East hub, for an amphibious ready group and an attached Marine expeditionary unit, which includes three warships and some 2,500 US Marines.
The unit, per its dedicated website, contains F-35B Lightning II jets and also MV-22B Ospreys.
The USS Tripoli, based in Japan, is now headed to the Middle East. Such a journey typically takes two weeks.
The move suggests Washington is not seeking to wind down its war on Iran anytime soon, despite repeatedly boasting of operational successes that include killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and sinking 60 Iranian naval vessels.
Tehran lists conditions to end the war
Multiple explosions struck Tehran during the annual Quds Day march, killing at least one person and injuring others. Despite the attack, large crowds continued demonstrations in support of Palestinians as Iranian leaders and officials attended the rally.
Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said President Masoud Pezeshkian outlined specific conditions for ending the war. According to Jalali, these include reparations, guarantees against future aggression, and recognition of Iran's sovereignty.
All 6 American crews killed after resistance downed US aircraft
All six crew members of a US Air Force refueling aircraft have been confirmed killed after it was shot down by resistance groups in western Iraq on Thursday.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the deaths in a post on the social media platform X on Friday, hours after it reported that the KC-135 refueling aircraft had gone down in western Iraq.
It said at the time that four of the six crew members on board were killed.
CENTCOM also claimed that "the loss of the aircraft was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire."
The aircraft, however, was targeted and struck by a missile fired by the Resistance Front in western Iraq, according to a statement issued by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of Iran on Thursday night.
In a separate statement, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the aircraft was intercepted and destroyed while it was in the middle of a refueling mission for an "aggressor fighter jet."
The incident has brought the number of US troops killed, as per the Pentagon data, to at least 13 since the US and the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war against Iran on February 28.
Ever since, Iraqi resistance groups have been carrying out daily attacks on US assets in Iraq and across the region.
The KC-135 is at least the fourth known US military aircraft lost during the war with Iran.
At least three F-15 aircraft were also shot down over Kuwait.
Many observers see the latest incident as a major blow to the US military.
They argue that by targeting the refueling aircraft, the Resistance Front has struck the logistical backbone of US aerial operations, proving that American air superiority is no longer unchallenged in the region.

There may be another angle however, that being the purposeful demolition of the United States at the request of the Jews who knew all along that Iran couldn't be defeated.

Thirty masked settlers invade Palestinian property in Humsa | Middle East Eye
Thirty masked Israeli settlers invaded a Palestinian property belonging to a family of 12 in Humsa, in the northern Jordan Valley on Friday morning, local activists are reporting.
Prior to invading the property the settlers were said to have stormed a tent belonging to US and Portuguese international activists and a Palestinian man who were then dragged out by their hair to another tent while the settlers threatened to kill them.
Three men and all the children from the family were dragged to the same tent where one man was beaten with rocks and at least one sexual assault occurred.
The family's flock of 350 sheep were then set loose by settlers before they stole the activists' passports, phones and money.
The Palestinian men had to wait several hours for an ambulance because of military roadblocks before receiving medical treatment.
The incident is just one among the recent spate of settler violence that has killed six Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of war in Iran on 28 February.

UPDATE 1
My response to Trump's midnight tweet
We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily economically, and otherwise,
12bytes: Half way through the first sentence and already 2 massive lies; Iran isn't a terrorist state. That title is split between Israel and the US. Secondly, Iran is not being destroyed on any front, certainly not militarily. They are absorbing huge blows, both to military assets and its civilian population, but they are 100% committed to this fight and are not backing down, not one inch. Contrary to Trumps bullshit, the Iranians are inflicting massive damage on billion dollar military hardware throughout the entire Gulf region and Israel, leaving the US and Israel blind to further attacks.
yet, if you read the Failing New York Times, you would incorrectly think that we are not winning. Iran's Navy is gone, their Air Force is no longer, missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated,
12bytes: Iran's Navy was never a threat, nor is it a primary defense. Iran has perhaps tens of thousands and possibly more missiles including hypersonic (mach 5+, steerable) and multi-warhead types which it has only begun to use and for which neither the US nor Israel nor the Gulf states have any defense. All US bases in the Gulf states have been, or are being decimated, but the news isn't getting out because of harsh penalties, including death. The same is true in Israel which is being pounded with missiles and drones from Iran and Hezbollah. Some US forces were captured or killed and the US appears to be greatly under-reporting US casualties. The US has also lost several fighter jets, a tanker aircraft and several billion dollar air defense radar installations.
and their leaders have been wiped from the face of the earth.
12bytes: And so they picked new ones. Iran has planned for this.
We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time -
12bytes: Neither the US nor Israel has any of these things. Both are largely radar-blind and both are running out of interceptors, hence why the US is begging other nations to enter the war and transferring air defenses from S. Korea. The US and Israel can continue to murder civilians in Iran, but neither possess the capability to destroy Iran's missile and drone tunnels and this is Iran's most important military asset. Furthermore, Iran is being supported by Russia and China.
Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today. They've been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them. What a great honor it is to do so!
12bytes: Yes, what a "great honor" in murdering 165+ school girls, a girls soccer team and, at last count, bombing around 69 presumably empty schools. What a "great honor" it is to bomb civilian homes and energy resources and cause an environmental catastrophe by bombing oil infrastructure, setting the streets of Tehran on fire. What a "great honor" it is to slaughter civilians. Trump did get a number right though; for 47 years the US and Israel have been harassing Iran and murdering its military leaders and scientists for the Trump-ed up purpose of preventing Iran from pursuing a non-existent nuclear weapons program. The "scumbags" Trump speaks of are the Zionist filth that founded Israel and infected all aspects of American government and society. Trump, the draft-doger, and virtually the entire US administration should be thrown out and prosecuted for a plethora of crimes, including corruption, traitorism, war crimes and their undying allegiance to a foreign apartheid state committing mass genocide with US weapons. FUCK TRUMP.

The United States is ready to provide escorts for oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz if necessary, Trump added.
"We would do it if we needed to ... But you know, hopefully, things are going to go very well. We are going to see what happens," Trump told Fox News.

How Israel is censoring reporting on the war
Since the start of the war with Iran, the Israeli military has imposed strict censorship regulations on local and international media outlets operating inside the country, severely impeding journalists' ability to cover the situation on the ground.
Reporters and networks are prohibited from publishing the precise location of Iranian missile impacts, or even filming or photographing the extent of the damage in a way that could give away the location - restrictions designed, in the words of the army's chief censor Col. Netanel Kula, "to prevent assistance to the enemy during wartime."

Col. Macgregor: IRAN WAR WILL BE THE END OF THE U.S. MILITARY IN WEST ASIA
Iran's new leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, just delivered his first address to the nation, and he declared that: "The Strait of Hormuz must remain closed," and that Iran will continue its retaliation, saying: "We will not give up on avenging the blood of martyrs."
Ret. U.S. Army Col. Douglas Macgregor noted that the Trump Admin has put the U.S. Military and all of its allies in the region in an incredibly dangerous position, as not only can they not "win" a war against Iran... but Iran is not backing down in its attacks, and its closure of the Strait of Hormuz alone is the start of an "economic Armageddon."
US burning through 'years' of munitions in Iran war - FT - RT World News
The US is rapidly depleting its weapons stockpiles and has "burned through years" of some critical munitions since starting its war against Iran, the Financial Times reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
In a closed‑door briefing on Tuesday, Pentagon officials estimated that the first six days of the US war with Iran have already cost at least $11.3 billion, according to the outlet.
The rapid munitions drain has stoked fears over the soaring cost of the war and Washington's capacity to restock key weapons, including advanced long-range Tomahawk missiles, the FT said.

Drop Site News has obtained internal Iranian intelligence briefing summaries, photos, and other materials related to secret influence operations targeting Israeli citizens. Iranian intelligence has carried out a series of small-scale active measures for the past three years in an attempt to foment social division inside Israel and build relationships with individual Israeli citizens. Drop Site also spoke to two Iranian officials, one of them an intelligence operative who worked directly on the program, and granted them anonymity to discuss the operations because they are not officially authorized to confirm or deny the program's existence.
"A shadow war has been underway for years between Iran on one side and the United States and Israel on the other," one of the Iranian officials told Drop Site. "Regarding operations of this nature, no responsibility has ever been officially claimed nor is it likely to be," he added. "No country openly speaks about them."

Episode 53 - Locked Out: How Governments and Google Are Closing the Open Internet - Closed Network Privacy Podcast - Yellowball
In 2026, two massive shifts are quietly closing the open internet - one driven by governments, one by Google. The first: California, Louisiana, Illinois, Texas, Utah, and countries across the world are passing laws requiring operating systems to collect your age at device setup and broadcast it to every app you install. The second: Google is requiring every Android app developer - even those who never touch the Play Store - to submit government ID, pay a fee, and register with Google, or have their apps blocked from 95% of Android devices worldwide by 2027. Both policies hit the privacy community hardest: the apps most threatened are the open-source tools, anonymous utilities, and F-Droid staples that privacy-conscious users depend on. In this episode, we break down both stories in plain language, connect the dots between them, and walk through practical steps every listener can take - from DeGoogled phones to VPNs to backing up your APKs before the window closes. If you care about who controls your device, this episode is essential listening.

Rabbit in the headlights: Trump resorts to manufactured face-saving exit from Iran war - Tehran Times
Tehran - Barely two weeks after launching a joint military operation with Israel-ostensibly aimed at regime change-the United States now finds itself sinking into a deepening quagmire of war with Iran.
U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared convinced that by decapitating Iran's political and military leadership, the country would quickly capitulate. That assumption has proven disastrously wrong.
From "Making America Great Again" to "Making Israel Great Again"
Less than a year after claiming to have "obliterated" Iran's nuclear infrastructure, the United States is once again bombing Iranian targets alongside Israel. If the nuclear threat was truly neutralized in 2025, why is Washington fighting another war against Tehran today? The answer may lie not in nuclear non-proliferation but in a broader strategic objective: ensuring that Iran can never challenge Israel's military and geopolitical dominance in the Middle East.
Death of morality: appalling lie of Trump on Minab tragedy - Tehran Times
TEHRAN -- A missile strike that martyred at least 175 people at a girls' elementary school in the southern city of Minab has become one of the most controversial episodes of the United States' ongoing war with Tehran, prompting accusations that President Donald Trump misled the public about responsibility for the attack.
International organizations, lawmakers in Washington and independent analysts have described the Feb. 28 attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh School as one of the deadliest incidents of civilian casualties since the start of the U.S. and Israeli military campaign against the Islamic Republic.
The majority of the murdered schoolgirls aged between 7 and 12.
In the days following the bombing, Trump publicly asserted that Iran itself was responsible for the destruction of the school.
However, Trump's claim has faced mounting evidence from defense officials, independent analysts. Preliminary findings from a Pentagon investigation indicate the missile was launched by U.S. forces.

United States and Israel Widens Regional War. - Global Research
After three days of relentless bombing, the U.S. administration was bragging and boasting about its killing of Iranians and the destruction of its national resources. Trump and his cabinet members have stated multiple objectives in their war on Iran. Despite these contradictory pronouncements it is quite obvious that the war objectives are designed to destroy the Islamic Republic, the replacement of the government with a pro-imperialist regime and to strengthen the military positions of the State of Israel along with the Pentagon.
In statements made to the press on March 9, Trump said the war was nearly finished. This was done in order to reassure the transnational corporations that the war would not go on indefinitely. The slump in the stock markets began to rebound although reports indicate that since February 28, $6 trillion in corporate wealth has been eliminated.
The U.S. economy is declining under the current administration. The entire basis of the Trump program is doomed for failure. Hundreds of thousands of workers are losing their jobs under the flawed enactment of tariffs and trade restrictions as was recently announced against Spain for no other reason than they would not endorse the war on Iran.

The War on Iran Is Dumb. Here's Why. - Antiwar.com
War with Iran is dumb because it confuses motion with strategy. It risks global economic shock to score points on a geopolitical whiteboard. It incentivizes the nuclear outcomes it claims to prevent. It tells the world that U.S. signatures expire with U.S. elections. And it does all of this while pretending that costs are optional.
The sober alternative is not utopian. It is mundane: stop treating military force as the default policy tool, stop turning economic interdependence into a weapon, and stop teaching every threatened state that the fastest route to safety is a nuclear deterrent.
US Will Have to Pay Billions of Reparations to Iran Amid Growing Economic Toll - Ex-CIA Officer

Epstein scandal and the war on Iran: Coincidence, conspiracy, or political timing? - Tehran Times
12bytes: Keep in mind that this is coming from Iran. That ought to tell you something about the integrity of Tehran Times which makes western media look like the bunch of corrupt clowns they are.
SOUTH LEBANON-At first glance, there appears to be no direct connection between the publication of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation files and the United States' decision to move toward war with Iran.
Each issue emerged from its own institutional and political context: one from a long-running legal controversy in the American justice system, and the other from escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia.
Nevertheless, the simultaneous timing of the two developments has encouraged speculation about a hidden relationship between them.
While such claims circulate widely, a closer examination suggests that any link between the two remains uncertain and likely weak.
The theory that connects the Epstein files to the war narrative gained traction immediately after the documents were released.
The Palestinians forced to demolish their own homes by Israel | Israel-Palestine conflict News | Al Jazeera
"We were forced to start demolishing the house ourselves to avoid the municipality's demolition fees, which can reach 100,000 shekels [$32,000]," Basema, 51, said. "We started by breaking down the inside of the house and sent the municipality photos to confirm that we had begun the demolition, but they demanded that we demolish it from the outside as soon as possible."
The family soon completed the demolition of the two houses where eight people, including three children, lived. However, this didn't waive the fine of 45,000 shekels ($14,600), which will continue to be paid in instalments until 2029.
'Self-demolition' haunts Palestinians living in East Jerusalem, which has been controlled by Israel since 1967, and illegally merged with West Jerusalem under one Israeli-run administration.

US Failures in Iran Marks the End of PNAC "Simultaneous Warfare". Reveals Russia is key to South Korea's "Strategic Security" - Global Research
