IRGC says 44th missile wave launched against Israel, US bases | Middle East Eye

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it launched the 44th wave of missile attacks as part of Operation True Promise 4.

The group said the strikes targeted Israel and US military positions across the region.

According to the IRGC, the barrage included Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Fatah and Emad missiles and was aimed at locations including Kiryat Shmona, Haifa and US bases, including those linked to the US Fifth Fleet.

Missiles were launched simultaneously toward Israel from Iran and Lebanon in a coordinated attack, Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported.

The report said the barrage targeted northern Israel, triggering air-raid sirens across several communities.

Iran Struck GlobalEye AEW&C Aircraft, MQ-4C Drones, And Typhoon Jet At UAE And Kuwait (Photos)South Front

Multiple advanced warplanes of the United States and its allies were destroyed in recent Iranian strikes on the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, satellite images released by Persian media and others obtained from the European Sentinel-2 satellite indicate.

[...]

Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE was hit more than once, but recent strikes were especially devastating, according to the satellite images, which were released on March 12.

The air base is located around 32 kilometers to the south of the Emirate capital, Abu Dhabi. It is considered critical for the operations of the U.S. military in the Middle East. The base hosts advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft.

The latest images revealed that three large hangars, where the UAE Air Force keeps at least three of its five GlobalEye multi-role airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft, and one C-235 military transport plane, were all hit. While large burn marks appeared on the hangers, the C-235 was apparently hit outside.

U.S. Says It Lost Aerial Refueling Tanker Aircraft Over Iraq Amid Deadly Escalation (Videos)South Front

12bytes: It is very likely that the US lied (surprise) about the F-15's that were lost in Iraq due to a "friendly fire" incident, so i have no incentive to buy their story with the tanker.

In a statement, the command said that the incident occurred in "friendly airspace" during Operation Epic Fury, the U.S. military's codename for the ongoing attack with Israel against Iran.

"Rescue efforts are ongoing. Two aircraft were involved in the incident. One of the aircraft went down in western Iraq, and the second landed safely," CENTCOM added, stressing that "this was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire."

[...]

The incident came following serious escalation in Iraq, which saw the U.S. launching strikes against Iran-backed armed factions in the country. The factions, unified within the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI), have been launching strikes against U.S. bases inside Iraq and in nearby countries in response to the war on Iran, and they are known to be armed with advanced air defense systems.

Iran-backed group says it shot down US refuelling aircraft in western Iraq | Middle East Eye

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI) claimed responsibility for downing a US KC-135 refuelling aircraft in western Iraq.

In a statement on its Telegram channel, the IRI, an umbrella group of Iran-backed armed factions, said it targeted the aircraft with air defence systems, causing it to crash.

The claim contradicts US Central Command (CENTCOM), which reported on Thursday that two aircraft were involved in an incident in "friendly airspace".

"This was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire," CENTCOM said.

IRGC hits US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain with missiles, drones

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has launched a devastating missile and drone strike on the US Navy's Fifth Fleet base in Mina Salman, Bahrain, shortly after the first message from the new leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, emphasized Iran's "determined and regret-inducing" defense efforts.

The IRGC's public relations office announced that the attack took place on Thursday, with two waves of missile and drone strikes hitting the base.

The statement said that key facilities at the base, including anti-drone defense systems, storage and maintenance areas for drones, support equipment, and fuel tanks, were all targeted with precision missiles and drones.

According to the IRGC, the strike successfully hit American military gatherings, causing significant damage.

One Iranian missile vs Patriot air-defense missiles: A $16 million failure - YouTube

12bytes: As the ex-military guys have been saying, the US develops extremely expensive weapon systems that don't work nearly as well as it says on the tin. The Patriot has apparently never been able to reliably intercept a missile since the 1990's, yet foreign counties, such as Israel and several others, rely on it for air defense. The Tomahawk cruise missile is another very old design that is a waste of money given its price to effectiveness ratio. The F-35 fighter planes are another massively over-priced weapon that is plagued with problems. They spend more time in the garage than they do in the air and apparently they have trouble flying in the rain when they're not busy falling out of the sky. The US military is not remotely as effective as many people believe.

This video footage shows the aftermath of the launch of a single Iranian missile amid unsuccessful attempts by four Patriot air-defense missiles, each estimated to cost around $4 million, to intercept it. The Iranian missile avoided interception and struck its target with precision.

Since the start of the war, the high cost of US weapons, contrasted with their failure to intercept lower-cost yet highly effective Iranian weapons, has sparked widespread criticism and debate among politicians and the public in the United States.

Six vessels attacked amid reports of Iranian drone boats, sea mines | US-Israel war on Iran News | Al Jazeera

Explosive-laden Iranian boats appear to have attacked two fuel tankers in Iraqi waters, setting them ablaze and killing one crew member, after projectiles struck four vessels in Gulf waters, according to reports.

The ships targeted in late-night attacks on Wednesday in the Gulf near Iraq were the Marshall Islands-flagged Safesea Vishnu and the Zefyros, which had loaded fuel cargoes in Iraq, two Iraqi port officials told the Reuters news agency. One Iraqi port security source said the Zefyros was flagged in Malta.

How will the war on Iran impact the US economy? | US-Israel war on Iran News | Al Jazeera

New York City, United States - Rising prices on the back of US-Israel strikes on Iran are adding to the economic pressure facing US consumers despite efforts by US President Donald Trump to paint the war as a success.

On Wednesday, Trump declared, "We won - in the first hour it was over."

Trump's declaration comes even as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, cutting off oil from the Gulf amid warnings from Iran, which continues to strike ships, that oil could reach $200 per barrel.

Oil prices spiked above $100 per barrel on Sunday and again today.

The magnitude of the economic pressure on consumers will depend on how long the war lasts and, crucially, how soon shipping traffic can return to the Gulf.

Thirteen Days Of Stalemate: How the U.S.'s 'Quick Victory' in Iran Turned Into A Costly Quagmire | South Front

Thirteen days into the conflict between Israel and the U.S. on one side and Iran on the other, there have been no critical changes to the situation. The parties continue to exchange strikes on each other's targets. This is the essence of the current conflict.

Iran has achieved its main goal in this confrontation. The allies have been drawn into prolonged and costly military operations. The original objectives of the operation have not been achieved. The assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei paved the way for his son to take power. He is ready to avenge his murdered father and nearly his entire family. Most of the senior leaders who were eliminated have already been replaced. Contrary to analysts' predictions that mass protests would break out if instability arose in the country, the people have rallied together.

It can be assumed that the Iranian navy and air force have been destroyed, as the allies' representatives regularly remind us. However, these components were never key to Iran's armed forces and existed only nominally. After the theocrats came to power in 1979, the Islamic Republic prepared for war with the U.S. by creating thousands of underground bases and storage facilities.

Despite the fact that the war was being fought in the air, Israel and the US found themselves in a stalemate.

Suspicious attack at Salalah Port hits Omani fuel storage! - YouTube

MILITARY TUBE TODAY - The latest footage captures the exact moment when one of the drones, with its distinctive delta wing design, crashed into a fuel depot at #Salalah Port, #Oman triggering a huge blaze that was visible from nearby ships on Thursday. Omani authorities confirmed that several drones were intercepted by defenses, but at least two fuel tanks were hit, causing severe damage with no reported casualties. [...] Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian considered Oman a friendly neighbor, telling Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, that the incident at Salalah Port would be reviewed.

Iran immediately officially denied its involvement in the drone attack on Omani storage tanks, calling it "suspicious" and pointing to a false flag attack by Israel. It should be noted that Israel has recently been carrying out false flag attacks against Gulf States, then blaming Iran for them, as confirmed by President Erdogan. In this case, Iran suspects Israel of carrying out the attack on Oman with drones cloned from Iranian Shahed-136 drone by the US, a low-cost drone known as FLM 136 LUCAS.

Iranian Official Claims Israel Used Arab 'Contractor' in Alleged Oman False-Flag Operation

A senior Iranian security official has accused Israel of orchestrating a "false flag" operation in Oman, claiming the attack was designed to inflame tensions between Tehran and Gulf states and undermine regional diplomacy.

In remarks to Al-Mayadeen, the official said recent attacks targeting fuel storage facilities in the Omani port city of Salalah were carried out as part of a broader Israeli strategy to destabilize the region.

The source said Iran had obtained "accurate intelligence information" indicating that Israel was responsible for the operation.

According to the official, the attack was conducted through an Arab country that maintains extremely close ties with Israel and acts as a "contractor" for Israeli expansionist projects in the region.

Hormuz disruption: we ain't seen nothing yet!

It would appear that President Trump gambled that the whole affair would be short-lived and wouldn't significantly disrupt global trade. From the Iranian perspective, however, concern about Western economies and financial markets isn't a priority. In fact, Iran might like to turn up the pain dial on Western powers; they have every reason to exploit their financial Achilles' heel, keep the strait of Hormuz closed for a long time and exert "maximum pressure" right back against the West.

Short of deploying nuclear weapons, Western powers can do precious little to mitigate the new situation. And even if they did deploy the nukes, there's a good chance it would only make things a whole lot worse. Iran is now in a position to demand very significant concessions to reopen Hormuz.

Qatar cuts 50 percent of workforce at major LNG project over Israeli-US war on Iran | Middle East Eye

A source familiar with the situation told Reuters that the workforce at the site has been reduced to below 50 percent, citing security concerns linked to the regional conflict.

The development follows an earlier decision by Qatar to halt production at its existing 77 million tonnes-per-year LNG facility and declare force majeure on shipments.

The North Field expansion is one of the world's most important energy projects and aims to boost the country's LNG output to 126 million tonnes per year by 2027.

Qatar is currently the second-largest exporter of LNG globally, meaning disruptions to its projects could have wider implications for global energy markets already strained by the conflict.

The White House is emptying the strategic reserves of the United States

At once, 172 million barrels of oil will be poured onto the market in an attempt to somehow slow down the rise in fuel prices in America. This is almost half of the 415 million barrels of oil reserves remaining since the Biden era.

[...]

However, it is simply unclear how to further stabilize the energy markets. The Trump team has already abandoned the adventurous ideas of breaking through the Strait of Hormuz. It is not possible to start new negotiations with Iran. Fuel prices continue to rise rapidly, and Republicans are sharply losing support even in the safest districts, as shown by the elections in Georgia.

The Pentagon has acknowledged spending $11 billion in the first six days of the conflict. We had to burn the main stocks of air defense missiles, which would take at least three to five years to replenish. It will also take years to rebuild burning American bases and destroyed radars for billions of dollars. If, of course, it is possible in principle.

The reputational losses are enormous. All that remains is to try to fix all the losses, although they will only grow, because the conflict does not think to stop yet. Meanwhile, the split in the White House is only getting worse, and more and more apparatchiks are withdrawing from the lost war that could bury the entire Trump presidency.

'Martyrs' blood to be avenged': Snippets from Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei's first message

Iran's Supreme Leader: 'All US Bases Should Be Closed, We Will Continue to Attack Them'

Former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed on February 28. Iran declared a 40-day period of mourning. The country was under the control of a temporary leadership council for just over a week. On the night of March 9, the Assembly of Experts confirmed that Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, had become the new Supreme Leader.

"The Islamic Republic does not seek domination or colonial influence in the region. We remain fully prepared for unity and warm, mutual relations with all neighboring countries," Mojtaba Khamenei stressed.

The lever of blocking the Strait of Hormuz must continue to be used, he said.

"However, we will obtain compensation from the enemy by any means necessary. If they refuse, we will seize their assets to the extent we deem appropriate. Should that not be possible, we will destroy an equivalent amount of their property," Khamenei said.

Iran Strikes US Fifth Fleet Base - Bahrain Erupts in Uprising & Saudi Forces Move to Crush Dissent

With round the clock missile and drone strikes, civil unrest, damage to vital infrastructure and even rumors that its leader has fled, chaos has characterized the state of affairs in Bahrain. According to reports, the sudden devastation inflicted on Gulf economies have led to contestations from their leaderships, who claim to have not been sufficiently notified of the US-Israeli assault.

US Ground Invasion of Iran Could Launch From Turkmenistan

While speculation rages on over the potential use of American boots on the ground in Iran, one of Tehran's neighbours from which there are serious indicators that action could be taken by the US military to launch a ground invasion from Turkmenistan.

Often excluded from analyses of regional conflicts, due to it being perceived as neutral, Turkmenistan may be the entry point of choice for US special forces missions.

[...]

In early February, Turkmen media reported on a development tracked by FlightRadar24, noting that US Air Force transport aircraft C-17A Globemaster III and MC-130 Super Hercules had landed at an undisclosed location inside Turkmenistan. Of particular concern was the arrival of the MC-130 Super Hercules, which is used for transporting special forces units, as well as performing night operations.

Another worrisome indicator is the growing relationship between Tel Aviv and Ashgabat over the past years. In 2023, Israel even inaugurated an embassy in Turkmenistan, located only 10 miles from the Iranian border, announcing a new era in relations. Although the central Asian nation is known for its wealth of gas resources, Israel didn't exactly indicate any interest in this, which makes sense considering Tel Aviv already receives around 60% of its energy needs from Azerbaijan.

As Iran War Confirms Further the World's Entry into the Most Dangerous Times Ever - Global Research

The headlines on the daily destruction caused by the Iran war are extremely disturbing for any sensitive person. However, the wider reality is even more grim and worrying. When seen together with several other recent trends as well as the circumstances leading up to the start of the Iran war, it is increasingly clear now that the world has now entered the most dangerous times ever, more dangerous than world wars one and two because of the availability and massive accumulation of weapons of mass destruction and the race to add further to these.

The Father's Son Has Arrived to Seal America's Fate in the Region

Foad of FoadDebate writes: In my latest conversation with Dr. Kevin Barrett, we unpacked the hidden dimensions and far-reaching implications of Iran's new leadership selection, a development that has not only shaken domestic dynamics but has also sent shockwaves through the calculations of global powers. With his characteristic sharp insight, Barrett describes Western media attempts to delegitimize this choice as textbook war propaganda, completely at odds with the realities on the ground and the public embrace of Iran's revolutionary path. Dismissing Trump's interventionist rhetoric about the new leader being "unacceptable," he frames such statements as a theatrical display of a declining U.S. hegemony. Barrett emphasizes that the selection of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, given the impeccable ethical track record and integrity of his family, is not only a strategic necessity amid the current full-scale war but also a powerful promise to continue the steadfast revolutionary line that has stood firm against Western overreach.

The accommodation of American Marines at Al-Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi and mobile American bases in Iraq, along with the gathering place of Zionist forces in Tel Aviv, have come under continuous, targeted, and effective fire by a full range of heavy and formidable "Khorramshahr" missiles, the "Qadr" missile with multiple warheads, and the "Kheybar Shekan" missile with a one-ton warhead, added the statement.

Hezbollah Strikes Back: Israel's Iron Dome Overwhelmed

In early March, the Israeli army announced the launch of strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. In response, Hezbollah retaliated, escalating tensions between the two sides.

Hezbollah has delivered a powerful message with massive rocket barrages that reportedly penetrated Israel's vaunted Iron Dome defenses, with only about half of ~100 projectiles intercepted in a single day, the New York Post reported, citing IDF sources.

Ovebda airbase is considered a strategic facility and an Israeli Air Force training base, historically housing F-22 fighter jets from the United States.

UN says 3.2 million people now displaced in Iran as a result of US-Israeli war | Middle East Eye

The number of people displaced within Iran since the start of the US and Israel's war on the country has reached 3.2 million, according to the UN's refugee agency, UNHCR.

The number represents between 600,000 and one million households now temporarily displaced owing to the war that began on 28 February.

"This figure is likely to continue rising as hostilities persist, marking a worrying escalation in humanitarian needs," Ayaki Ito, the agency's emergency coordinator for the Middle East said.

Israeli settlers in West Bank use cover of Iran war to attack and murder Palestinians | Middle East Eye

Early on Sunday morning, residents of Abu Falah, a small town near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, spotted a group of around 100 Israeli settlers gathered on a hill near their homes.

The masked men then descended on the town, with the intention of razing Palestinian homes and evicting their residents.

The residents are used to continuous harassment by settlers from outposts dotting the surrounding hills, but say they have never experienced this scale of violence before.

They were panicked by the settlers, who were armed with M16 rifles, so they sent urgent messages via village WhatsApp groups. Other residents emerged from their homes to block the path of the attackers.

"When the settlers realised they couldn't burn our homes, they opened fire on us," Omar Hamayel, an eyewitness, told Middle East Eye.

US Aggression on Iran: Final Verdict on 'Patriot' System's Atrocious Performance - Global Research

For the last four years, the mainstream propaganda machine has been presenting the MIM-104 "Patriot" SAM/ABM (surface-to-air/anti-ballistic missile) system as one of the so-called "wunderwaffen" that were supposed to "defeat the evil Russians". The United States insisted that even hypersonic weapons were regularly being "shot down" by these systems, rendering Moscow's best weapons "obsolete". However, as the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict dragged on, it became clear that's anything but true. This is confirmed by the fact that the Neo-Nazi junta failed to present a single shred of evidence that even supersonic missiles were shot down, let alone hypersonic ones.

CONFIRMED: US Struck Girls' School in Iran, Twice - YouTube

12bytes: The US not only bombed a girls school, murdering roughly 170+ girls between the aged of 6 and 12, as well as their teachers and some parents, but then they waited until a rescue effort began before hitting it again in what is known as a 'double-tap'.

UN Journalist Richard Medhurst reports on the US strike on a girls' school in Iran.

Probe holds US responsible for Minab massacre; lawmaker demands Trump's impeachment

An investigation has confirmed that the United States is responsible for the Minab school massacre in Iran that claimed the lives of more than 170 children, with a congresswoman demanding the impeachment of US President Donald Trump for "war crimes."

On the first day of the ongoing US-Israeli war against Iran on February 28, the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab, a southern town in Iran, was pounded by a missile attack, killing at least 175 people, mostly children.

Despite the fact that the barbaric aggression had all the hallmarks of a terrorist attack by the US military, Washington strongly rejected any involvement in the deadly airstrike and even Trump, in a desperate attempt to sidestep the blame for the strike, falsely accused Tehran of launching the attack.

First Iran, Then Cuba: Trump Has Dropped the Peace-President Mask - Antiwar.com

Donald Trump did not merely let slip a reckless aside when he said he wanted to "finish this one first" - meaning Iran - before turning to Cuba. He revealed a governing mindset. Countries become items in a queue. War becomes a scheduling matter. One theater before the next, one pressure campaign before the next, one performance of toughness before the cameras move on. That is not strategic restraint. It is imperial casualness masquerading as command.

The US ground operation in Iran will end in collapse for Trump, the expert said.

"[US President Donald Trump - ed.] Trump is now actually "cornered", he expected to quickly deal with Iran according to the Venezuelan scenario, for this, it would seem, he had all the necessary conditions at the initial stage," said Andrei Manoilo.

According to an international expert, a ground operation in Iran could lead to collapse.

"The massive strikes did not lead to the demoralization of the nation, Iran quickly replaced the leaders. Absolutely nothing has changed, and the people are ready to resist. Trump has nothing to lose, he understands this perfectly well, so he can only go forward. I must say that at the current point in the development of this process, a ground operation against Iran does not look out of the question, because plans for a ground operation were developed by the Pentagon, and the Ministry of War has them," Manoilo said.

Donald Trump will launch a ground operation in Iran if he goes "all out," like Israeli Prime Minister Beniamin Netanyahu, the host's interlocutor said.

"In the current situation, either Trump will make the fatal mistake of backing down, and then he will be torn apart, or he will go all out, like Benjamin Netanyahu, and launch a military operation that will end in collapse for him and for the power of the United States," Manoilo added.

Scott Ritter: The U.S. Has Lost and Is Trapped in the Iran War With No Way Out

In-depth analysis of the US-Israel military campaign against Iran examines strategic failures and humanitarian concerns. Discussion addresses allegations of a Tomahawk strike on a Minab school killing 170+ children, criticizing AI-driven targeting without proper oversight and removal of civilian harm mitigation protocols. Three US objectives-suppressing missiles, neutralizing Iran's navy, destroying industrial sites-are assessed as failing due to flawed intelligence and Iranian decoy tactics. Iran's strategy of autonomous military districts, critical infrastructure targeting, and economic pressure is presented as strategically effective. Analysis suggests the conflict's outcome hinges on political will and economic impact rather than battlefield casualties, with Iran potentially achieving goals of reducing US regional presence and undermining Israeli viability through sustained infrastructure pressure. The interview emphasizes adherence to law of war principles and the moral responsibility of military professionals in targeting decisions.

Donald Trump's War on Iran is Turning into a Debacle

The Trump administration genuinely believed that the decapitation attack on 28 February would rally the Iranian people to rise up and overthrow the Islamic Republic. Trump ignored the contrary warnings from General Caine, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the National Intelligence Council (NIC). Trump apparently never considered the possibility that Iran would blockade the the Strait of Hormuz and shutdown the flow of oil, liquid natural gas and nitrogen fertilizer from the Persian Gulf. As I discussed in my last article - Choke Point: The Global Economic Consequences of The Persian Gulf Shutdown - Iran's shuttering of the Persian Gulf has sent in motion some profound economic shocks that are going to cause a global recession and, if sustained for more than a month, a global depression.

[...]

The picture is equally bleak and troubled on the military front. Despite wreaking massive damage inside Iran, the US and Israeli militaries have failed to knockout Iran's ballistic and cruise missile forces as well as its drones. The US Department of War has conceded that Iran defied the expectations of the US military as the Iranians launched devastating counter attacks.

Matthew Hoh: The Iran War Narrative Is Falling Apart

Analysis of the US-Iran conflict reveals contradictory messaging from Washington and unclear war objectives. Various forces-Israel, military-industrial complex, fossil fuel interests-pushed for war, finding a malleable leadership willing to act. Unlike predecessors who resisted escalation, current administration lacks institutional loyalty or strategic vision. Iran continues oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz at premium prices, demonstrating resilience and regional initiative. Gulf states, Europe, Japan, and South Korea face severe economic repercussions, prompting questions about their continued alignment with US policy. The discussion highlights administration incompetence, overextended US military capacity, and Iran's decentralized governance built to withstand such conflicts. With no achievable political goals and tactical focus overshadowing strategy, the war risks becoming a prolonged engagement. Resolution may only come when global market pressures or elite economic interests force consensus. This conflict could catalyze a transformative shift in global power dynamics-or deepen crisis leading to wider instability. A critical examination of imperial overreach, failed intelligence, and the human cost of war waged without clear purpose or exit strategy.

Iran fires missiles at US and Israeli targets for three straight hours - Tehran Times

TEHRAN - Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Tuesday night that it had carried out the most intense wave yet of its retaliatory campaign against American and Israeli targets, firing a sustained barrage of missiles for more than three hours as part of Operation True Promise 4.

In a statement released by its public relations department, the IRGC said the attack - marking the 37th wave since the war began - involved the largest number of Khorramshahr heavy missiles used in the operation so far. The strikes were conducted in layered and continuous attacks aimed at U.S. bases and Israeli sites in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The operation was carried out under the code name "Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib," and coincided d Laylat alQadr, one of the holiest nights in the Islamic calendar, as well as the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali.

Among the targets was the Ha'ela satellite communications center south of Tel Aviv, which had been struck for a second time during the conflict. There were also attacks on military installations in Be'er Ya'akov, areas west of Jerusalem, and the northern port city of Haifa.

American targets were also hit, including sites in Erbil in northern Iraq and facilities connected to the U.S. Fifth Fleet in the region.

Iran has been launching multiple waves of missile and drone attacks each day since the United States and Israel began their bombing campaign against the country on February 28, 2026. The two regimes have so far struck nearly 20,000 civilian sites and killed around 1,300 Iranians, including 165 schoolgirls who were slaughtered when their school in southern Iran was hit by two American missiles.

At least 17 U.S. military installations in the region have been hit by Iran during the 12 days of war. The losses are staggering, with an estimated $10-billion worth of American equipment destroyed so far. Successive U.S. administrations took four to five decades to establish those bases across West Asia.

In its statement, the IRGC said it would continue "purposeful and powerful attacks" for as long as the war persists. The campaign, it added, would end only when "the shadow of war is completely lifted from our country." By Wednesday evening, Iran had launched its 40th wave of attacks.

Iran Army launches drone operation, says radar collapse makes Israeli targets easier to hit

Iran's Army says its operations against Israeli military infrastructure are becoming easier and more precise after parts of the regime's radar network were destroyed, as a new wave of drone strikes hit key bases and security facilities.

Iranian forces launched a fresh round of drone operations against strategic Israeli targets on Thursday, striking the Palmachim Airbase, Ovda Airbase, and a major facility of the Shin Bet internal security service near Tel Aviv, according to an official military statement.

Army spokesman Brigadier General Akraminia said the destruction of sections of the enemy's radar infrastructure has significantly improved operational conditions for Iranian forces.

"With the elimination of part of the enemy's radar facilities at sensitive centers, continuing the operations has become easier and we now have better access to important and sensitive points," he said.

"Operations are becoming more precise day by day," he told the state TV on Thursday.

Blasts heard in Jerusalem, after Israel detects new Iranian missile salvo | Middle East Eye

The sound of explosions have been reported in Jerusalem after the Israeli Home Front Command said it detected missiles launched from Iran targeting the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv metropolitan area.

"A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat," the Israeli military said in a post on Telegram.

Hebrew media: One-third of Israelis under fire with nowhere to escape - Tehran Times

TEHRAN - Israeli media have reported that roughly 3.2 million Israelis are living without adequate protection from missiles and drones, raising concerns about settler safety across areas controlled by the occupation regime.

According to Hebrew media, the figures were revealed during an emergency meeting in the Knesset, where officials and local authorities warned that large segments of the population lack access to standard fortified shelters.

This comes amid relentless daily Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting military sites that are embedded in settler communities and neighborhoods. The Lebanese Hezbollah has also opened a military front launching daily drone and missile salvos.

The Crisis in Iran and The West's Humanitarian Shenanigans

Important figures of the Trump administration declared the Islamic Republic a "terrorist regime," "sinister force," and "evil" without providing any evidence to substantiate their claims. They argued that their goal was to "provide freedom to the suffering humanity of Iran by ridding them of this despicable regime."

In addition, Israel argued that its military intervention in Iran was meant to ensure that the latter can never develop nuclear weapons. A combination of regime change and fictional justification that Iran would develop nuclear weapons highlights the fact that the United States of America and Israel do not care at all about the need to adhere to international legal instruments.

The US's main goal is to ensure that the Iranian people are deprived of their rightful leader and replace it with an individual or institution that acts as a pliant authority.

IEA director says energy markets at 'critical turning point' | Middle East Eye

International Energy Agency (IEA) executive director Fatih Birol said on Thursday that global energy markets are at a "critical turning point," after the agency on Wednesday recommended a coordinated release of global oil reserves in response to the Middle East war.

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz prompted the IEA's announcement, he said at an Istanbul press conference.

The International Energy Agency, made up of major oil-consuming nations, recommended releasing 400 million barrels from global strategic reserves to dampen one of the worst oil shocks since the 1970s, the biggest such intervention in history.

Iraq calls for the 'protection of maritime routes' after deadly attack on tankers | Middle East Eye

Iraq's Ministry of Oil has called for "the protection of maritime routes" after deadly attacks that set two tankers ablaze off the coast of Iraq overnight.

12byes: Who's gonna do the protecting? Contrary to Trump's idiotic claim that the US would escort ships through the Hormuz Strait and provide insurance, the US Navy apparently thought otherwise. Gaza mom watched the bodies of her sons for four days | The Electronic Intifada

In February 2024, Tahani Hamdan remained inside the besieged Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, while her sons' bodies lay in the street outside.

"I constantly watched my sons through a hole in the hospital wall, praying to God that cats and dogs would not come near them," Hamdan said.

Her testimony is part of a new investigation by the Geneva-based Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor documenting the Israeli military's targeting of the Al-Aweini family.

The investigation describes an aerial attack on the family home, sniper fire on wounded civilians, the obstruction of rescue and burial and the detention and torture of surviving relatives.

Euro-Med Monitor is urging the International Criminal Court to treat the attack on the Al-Aweini family as an "exemplar case" in its investigations of Israeli crimes in Gaza.
