TRUMP WINNING WAR... oh wait; Trump begs 40 states to open Hormuz (that US 'don't need'); Israeli's swim in own shit; Iran launches attack waves 90, 91 - IRAN WAR NEWS - 2-Apr-2026 (update 2)

12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump initiated a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since 165 school girls were slaughtered by 2 US Tomahawk missiles during the opening salvos. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming munitions and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic and multi-warhead missiles. Israel and the Gulf states are running out of interceptors. Their reporting of incoming missiles/drones being "intercepted" are largely lies and many of the "missiles" being intercepted are decoys. The damage to Israel is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing Israeli's with a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden to report on the damage inflicted by Iran, many of which have been arrested. Organizations publishing satellite imagery of damage to Israel and US bases are being prevented from doing so.

Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionists have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb the US/Israel drops on their people, their leaders and their infrastructure. Meanwhile, Iran controls shipping in the Hormuz Strait, a primary shipping lane of global importance, and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will the US and/or Israel deploy nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE 2

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on April 2

Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.

On Thursday, April 2, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.

Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 90 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.

Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.

Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.

Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on April 2:

IRGC launches massive strikes on Tel Aviv, Haifa in Wave 91

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the commencement of heavy missile attacks as part of Wave 91 of Operation True Promise 4, targeting the heart of Tel Aviv and Haifa.

According to a statement released by the IRGC late Thursday, the strikes have forced 5 million Israeli settlers to seek shelter in underground bunkers.

The statement also revealed that the Yemen front has begun launching attacks towards the southern Israeli-occupied territories and Dimona.

"The sound of successive explosions has left emergency responders confused and struggling to keep up," the report noted.

A military spokesperson for Yemen's Ansarullah announced that, alongside Iran and Hezbollah, a joint operation was carried out against critical enemy targets in Tel Aviv's Jaffa region.

The spokesperson emphasized the coordinated nature of the attack, underlining the unity of efforts between the three parties in their ongoing resistance operations in the region.

According to Israeli broadcaster KAN, an Iranian ballistic missile, carrying a warhead weighing hundreds of kilograms, has caused significant damage to several locations.

The IRGC has indicated that further details regarding the scope and impact of the missile strikes will be released in the coming hours.

In the past few hours, the IRGC has launched a series of coordinated, large-scale attacks using heavy ballistic missiles and attack drones, targeting several strategic bases and concentrations of Israeli and US forces in occupied territories and across the region.

According to reports, Israel's sensitive airbases, including Tel Nof, Palmachim, and Ben Gurion airport, were heavily struck.

Additionally, military gathering points in cities such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat, the Negev region, and Beersheba faced a barrage of missile and drone attacks, causing widespread damage and casualties.

Meanwhile, US military bases in the region were not spared. US bases at Ahmed al-Jaber and Ali al-Salem in Kuwait, as well as the al-Kharj base in Saudi Arabia, were hit by precise heavy ballistic missile strikes, suffering significant damage.

In another part of the operation, the early warning radar system stationed at the al-Dhafra base in the United Arab Emirates was completely destroyed. The radar system played a crucial role in the early detection of aerial and missile threats in the region.

Video emerges of Iranian missile striking Tel Aviv despite Israeli censorship - Yemen Press Agency

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 03 (YPA) - Despite tight censorship imposed by Israeli occupation authorities, news outlets and social media platforms circulated dramatic footage showing two Iranian missiles striking targets in Tel Aviv with apparent precision and without interception.

Iran Claims To Have Shot Down 'Enemy Fighter Jet' Over Persian Gulf (Video)

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed on April 2 that its air defenses successfully targeted an "enemy fighter jet in the south of Qeshm Island".

In a statement carried by semi-official Fars news agency, the guards said that the fighter jet crashed between Hengam Island and Qeshm Island after getting hit, then sank into the depths of the Persian Gulf. The statement did not specify which country the jet belonged to.

Video footage of the engagement was released. The footage, apparently taken from a ground-based imager thermal tracking system, shows what appears to be a single engine fighter jet maneuvering and dropping flares after what appears to be a blast.

The fighter jet was likely an F-16, flown by both the United States and Israel, in addition to several Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates.

A combat drone shot down by Iranian air defenses on April 2 turned out to be a Chinese-made Wing Loong II, a type operated by both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Houthis claim missile attack on Israel, vow further escalation | Middle East Eye

Yemen's Houthi group said it carried out a military operation using a barrage of ballistic missiles targeting what it described as "vital Israeli" sites.

In a statement carried by Al Masirah, the group said the attack was coordinated with Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon and had "successfully achieved its objectives".

It said its involvement in the US-Israeli war on Iran would be gradual and could expand depending on developments.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the group would respond to escalation or de-escalation accordingly.

Sanaa forces strike occupied Yaffa (Tel Aviv) with ballistic missiles - Yemen Press Agency

SANAA, April 02 (YPA) - The Yemeni Armed Forces (Sanaa Forces) carried out a joint military operation in coordination with the mujahideen in Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, targeting vital Israeli positions in the occupied city of Yaffa, known as (Tel Aviv) with a barrage of ballistic missiles.

Iran War Blowback: Iraqi Resistance Targets U.S. Forces in Biggest Escalation Since 2003

The US-Israeli attack on Iran has revived a 23 year old war front in Iraq, a blowback against the US military that continues over two decades after the US invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Unlike in 2003, today's Iraqi resistance is proving capable of successfully combating American forces and it appears to be adapting tactics used in the Russia-Ukraine war.

A force, born out of the disastrous rise of Daesh (ISIS) in Iraq, is now turning its guns on another invading army, reviving bad blood between Washington and Baghdad that spans decades. The Iraqi front in the ongoing regional war could prove to be one of the most decisive, as the Popular Mobilisation Units (PMU/PMF/Hashd al-Sha'abi) could muster up to 250,000 fighters if fully mobilised.

Trump family-linked firm seeking to sell drone interceptors to Gulf states amid war | Middle East Eye

A drone company backed by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr, sons of US President Donald Trump, is seeking to sell equipment to Gulf countries reliant on US military support during the US-Israeli war on Iran.

Powerus co-founder Brett Velicovich told the Associated Press the firm is holding demonstrations across the region, showcasing drone interceptors designed to counter Iranian attacks.

"These countries are under enormous pressure to buy from the sons of the president so he will do what they want," Richard Painter, a former chief White House ethics lawyer, said. "This is going to be the first family of a president to make a lot of money off war - a war he didn't get the consent of Congress for."

Lebanon is being ravaged as Israel's escalated assault enters its second month. More than 1,300 people have been killed, including over 120 children, and over 4,000 injured in a relentless onslaught. Israel has issued displacement orders covering around 15% of Lebanese territory and more than 1.1 million people-about a fifth of the country's population-have been forced from their homes. Emergency workers have also been increasingly targeted, with over 50 killed over the past four weeks.

Reservists with PTSD pushed back into service as Israeli army nears collapse - Middle East Monitor

The report points to an army under mounting pressure as Israel wages war on multiple fronts while struggling to sustain its reserve forces. Commanders demanded that reservists receiving treatment for war-related trauma report for duty, even when some had been admitted to the Israeli Defence Ministry's Rehabilitation Department and were undergoing psychiatric care.

It's claimed that many of the soldiers had not yet received formal disability rulings, a process that can take years, leaving them exposed to fresh call-up orders despite their condition.

Commanders in several reserve brigades are said to have taken the same line even in especially serious cases, including soldiers who had recently been hospitalised in psychiatric wards.

The Austrian defence ministry said it has refused to let the US use its airspace to launch military operations against Iran, citing the country's longstanding policy of military neutrality.

A ministry spokesperson said Washington had made "several" requests to use their airspace, adding that each case would be assessed individually, instead of imposing a blanket ban on US overflights.

Austria joins Spain and Italy in being vocal about denying the US bombers permission to use their military bases or airspaces during the conflict.

More Damage Confirmed At Key Bases Used By U.S. In Kuwait, Saudi Arabia (Photos)

Iranian state media on April 2 released satellite images showing more damage at several bases hosting United States forces in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

The Islamic Republic stepped up missile and drone strikes on both countries in recent days, as the American-Israeli war entered its second month.

In Kuwait, the newly-released satellite images show some serious damage in Camp Arifjan, a major base located south of the capital, Kuwait City, serving as a key logistics hub for U.S. forces, including Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. Three large hangers were wiped out there.

The images also show impacts at four large hangars in Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base, which is the headquarters for the Kuwait Air Force and a key logistics hub for the U.S. The base, also located south of Kuwait City, hosts the 387th Air Expeditionary Group of the U.S. Air Force.

Ali Al Salem Air Base, a key airlift and logistics gateways for the U.S., was also hit. The base, located in central Kuwait, hosts the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing. A very large hanger, likely used for maintenance, was struck, according to the satellite images.

In addition, the images showed more damage at Camp Buehring, a huge staging post in northwestern Kuwait. Several barracks and depots were wiped out.

The camp serves as the primary location for the U.S. Army's Middle Eastern Theater Reserve. It provides critical live-fire ranges in the wider Udairi Range Complex area, in addition to desert-familiarization training meant to prepare tens of thousands of troops for combat operations in the Middle East.

In Saudi Arabia, the satellite images shows damage at Prince Sultan, which has been serving as a major hub for U.S. Air Force operations against Iran.

The base is located in the center of the kingdom. A large maintenance hangar was wiped out along with dozens of vehicles there.

The satellite images leave little doubt about the fact that Iranian strikes are becoming more effective, especially in Gulf countries. U.S. efforts to bolster air defenses there do not seem to be working at all. The situation will only get worse as the war drags on.

It's important to note that these precise strikes are not just meant as a retaliation, but they are also effectively degrading the readiness of U.S. forces deployed the closest to Iran.

"This response is the first practical warning to the enemy that if the warnings are ignored and the assassinations continue, we will punish the next companies that we have already announced much more severely, and the responsibility for the complete destruction of these companies in the region lies with the US President himself," the IRGC told state media.

On Wednesday, Iran threatened to start attacking major US tech firms, including Apple, Google and Microsoft, on a target list released by the IRGC and posted to Telegram.

Iran accused these companies of enabling the US military operations, labelling them "legitimate targets" responsible for attacks against the country.

The base is known for its advanced infrastructure and substantial personnel presence, making it one of the most strategically important military sites for the US in West Asia.

How A Fake Iranian Terror Group Was Invented To Proscribe IRGC in Europe - The story of Ashab al-Yamin

Investigative Analysis - A series of arson attacks and alleged incidents targeting alleged Jewish-linked sites across Europe have been attributed to a little-known group called Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI), or Ashab al-Yamin. The group has been widely described in media and security circles as an Iran-backed network, allegedly linked to the IRGC.

[...]

This investigation reveals that there is no such group. It appears to be a fictional cut out. Half of its reported activities simply did not occur. The other half were so amateurish, and inconsequential - with not a single injury - One theory is that they may have been messily undertaken by hired gig criminals and/or incompetent Sayanim, the name given to Mossad's network of little helpers in countries all over the world. This investigative analysis shows that even the Zionist regime and its assets in establishment think tanks acknowledge that so-called "gig criminals" have been involved in this series of events, in a striking parallel with similar events in Australia (fourteen of them between October 2024 and January 2025) which were similarly low impact with no casualties, declared to be "fake" by Australian police in March 2025.

Iran launches missile attack on Israel moments after Trump threat - Middle East Monitor

Iran launched a missile attack on Israel in its first military move just moments after a speech by US President Donald Trump on Wednesday evening, in which he threatened to destroy Iran.

Israel's Home Front Command said sirens were activated widely across northern Israel, including the Upper and Lower Galilee, Haifa Bay, and large parts of the Golan, Mount Carmel and the Jezreel Valley (Marj ibn Amir), after missiles were detected heading towards these areas.

Alerts were reported in major cities including Haifa, Acre, Nazareth, Tiberias and Safed, as well as dozens of towns and residential areas. Warning times ranged between 15 seconds and one and a half minutes, indicating a large-scale missile attack.

The developments come amid ongoing escalation, with explosions continuing to be heard in several areas due to interception operations. Residents have been urged to remain in shelters until further notice.

The Iranian strike came shortly after Trump concluded his speech, in which he warned that all of Iran's energy facilities would be targeted if no agreement is reached.

Trump: "We Broke It, You Fix It" // Daily Update

President Trump just delivered one of the strangest speeches of his career. He admitted the U.S. broke the Strait of Hormuz - then told the world to fix it themselves.

Fact check: Trump's speech on war against Iran and familiar claims that don't hold up

US President Donald Trump's speech on Thursday had built anticipation that a major announcement would be made regarding the war against Iran.

Many expected him either to signal an end to the costly military campaign or to announce a significant escalation. Instead, the remarks - and the claims - were largely familiar, echoing what he has repeatedly told friendly media outlets and posted on social media.

In the 20-minute address, he largely regurgitated the same talking points that fueled this unprovoked and unjustified war in the first place.

Here, we examine - and debunk - some of the key claims made in the speech.

[...]

Trump said US military has nearly completed its goals in the Iran war

This claim does not withstand scrutiny. As the US president searches for an off-ramp after more than a month of a costly military campaign, the reality is increasingly clear: the aggressor has failed to achieve its stated objectives despite deploying overwhelming force.

[...]

Trump said the US is "systemically dismantling the regime's ability to threaten America or project power outside of their borders."

Iran has never posed a threat to the US or any of the regional countries. In fact, unlike the US, Iran has never initiated a war in its history. The Islamic Republic has always acted in self-defense, which is its legitimate right under international law.

[...]

Trump said US objectives are largely achieved, claiming Iran's military, missile, and nuclear capabilities have been "decimated."

This claim is a rehash of what the US president has repeatedly stated in his social media posts over the past four weeks, with facts on the ground scoffing at his assertions.

[...]

Trump said Iran's navy and air force are gone and missiles are depleted

The Iranian Navy is still there, despite the cowardly American attack on one of its frigates in international waters that led to the martyrdom of over 100 sailors.

[...]

Trump said "regime change" has already occurred in Iran

This is a claim he has repeated in his interviews and social media posts as well, and it has already been debunked by many, including Western journalists and political pundits.

[...]

Trump said Iran was 'right at the doorstep' of making a nuclear weapon

Before the war, Trump repeatedly framed Iran's nuclear program as a central threat and threatened military action to dismantle Iranian nuclear infrastructure - over eight months after he had claimed the program was "obliterated."

In his State of the Union address on February 24, the US president - rebuffing his own intelligence agency - accused Iran of restarting its nuclear program and claimed it was pursuing capabilities capable of threatening Europe and even the United States.

The fact is that Iran has repeatedly asserted that it is not pursuing nuclear weapons ...

[...]

Trump said his first preference was always the path of diplomacy

The latest war of aggression was launched in the middle of indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington under Omani mediation on February 28. The war in June last year was also launched by the Israeli regime, with American permission, in the middle of talks.

[...]

Trump said the US imports 'almost no oil' through the Strait of Hormuz

According to the US Energy Information Administration, as cited by some US media outlets as well, the US imported 0.5 million barrels per day of crude oil and condensate through the Strait of Hormuz in 2024.

[...]

Trump said Iran's ballistic missiles could have reached the US soon

This is another claim that fails the fact-check test. The range of Iranian missiles is limited to 2,000 kilometers, and that hasn't changed up to this moment. The recent claim about an Iranian attack on Diego Garcia island, roughly 5,000 km away, was denied by Iran.

[...]

Trump said the war is "a true investment" for American children and future generations

This claim is debunked by Americans themselves. They are firmly opposed to the war against Iran and similar military adventures across the world that do not serve US interests.

You know nothing: Iran mocks US-Zionist intel., says strategic arsenal remains untouched

"As we already said, we tell the American-Zionist enemies that your information about our military power and equipment is incomplete. You know nothing about our vast and strategic capabilities," Lieutenant-Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said on Thursday.

He shattered the US-Israel hope of having destroyed Iran's strategic missile production centers, long-range offensive and pinpoint drones, modern air defense and electronic warfare systems, and special equipment, adding, "If you have such an idea, you will only deepen the quagmire in which you have been trapped."

He emphasized that the US-Israel enemies have targeted the centers that were not significant.

"Our strategic military production takes place in palces that you have no knowledge of at all and will never be able to reach," he reiterated.

Video: A Delusional President - Global Research

Trump addressed no issue. He did not acknowledge that it is US and Israel's radar sites that have been decimated along with American bases. He did not acknowledge that Israeli-America has run out of interceptor missiles, and that Poland, a NATO ally, has refused Trump's pressure to release the US missiles systems in Poland to Israel.

The facts on the ground are that Israel and US bases on the Persian Gulf are defenseless and cannot stop incoming Iranian missiles that strike at will.

Does Trump really think 19 minutes of hot air can hide the tremendous defeat that Trump has suffered from starting a war that his own hand-picked Chairman of the Joint Chiefs advised him against as the US lacked sufficient munitions to continue the war more than a few weeks?

Lies, delusions, and spiking oil: US lawmakers blast Trump's speech on war against Iran

American lawmakers have denounced US President Donald Trump's address to the nation for being a bizarre mixture of delusions and lies about objectives and alleged accomplishments in Washington's ongoing war of aggression against Iran.

Op. True Promise 4, Wave 90: Iranian missiles pound US heavy metal facilities in region

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched its 90th wave of Operation True Promise 4, targeting US industrial facilities in the region, including steel and aluminum industries in the UAE and Bahrain.

The IRGC said Thursday that the strikes were in retaliation for previous attacks on Iranian industrial sites and warned of further escalation if such attacks continue.

In an official statement, the IRGC's public relations office confirmed that a joint missile and drone operation had successfully destroyed critical infrastructure linked to US and Israeli military interests in the region.

The IRGC's statement detailed the destruction of US steel plants located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and U aluminum facilities in Bahrain, which had reportedly remained intact after earlier attacks.

The operation also targeted US military weapons sites, including the Rafael arms factories and hidden positions of US forces near Manama, the capital of Bahrain.

The IRGC further reported that dozens of US personnel were killed or wounded during the attack, and that the area was immediately quarantined by security forces. Ambulance activity continued for several hours as injured personnel were evacuated.

The IRGC continued its assault on Israeli and US military assets across West Asia. The IRGC's public relations office stated that the second phase of Wave 90 also targeted Israeli airbases in Tel Nof, Palmachim, and Ben Gurion, along with military gathering points in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat, Negev, and Beersheba.

US military bases in Ahmad al-Jaber and Ali al-Salem in Kuwait, as well as al-Kharj in Saudi Arabia, were also hit with ballistic missiles and drones.

Furthermore, a radar warning system at the al-Dhafra Airbase in the UAE was confirmed destroyed during the operation. The system had been crucial in early detection of air and missile threats in the region.

The IRGC described the attacks as part of a broader strategy to retaliate for "criminal acts" committed by the US and Israel, including attacks on Iranian cities and industries.

The statement also issued a direct warning to US President Donald Trump, advising him to refrain from further actions that could escalate the terrorist war on Iran beyond the region and make the world more dangerous for the United States.

Bab el-Mandeb: The Gate of Tears

What began as a direct confrontation between state actors has drawn in Iran's network of proxies forces -the so-called "Axis of Resistance." Hezbollah in Lebanon, militias in Iraq and, most visibly, the Houthi movement in Yemen have all publicly stated their support for Iran and have signaled their willingness to open new fronts. For global markets, the stakes are immediate and severe. The Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly one-fifth of the world's seaborne oil normally flows, has been effectively closed or rendered unusable by Iranian actions and the threat of further strikes. Attention has therefore shifted southward to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait (literally "gate of tears" in Arabic), the narrow gateway between the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden that funnels approximately 10-12% of global trade and millions of barrels of oil daily toward the Suez Canal.

Explainer: Which US tech and arms companies did IRGC declare legitimate targets'

In a statement, the IRGC denounced the US and the Israeli regime for carrying out indiscriminate attacks across the country that have led to the martyrdom of nearly 1,200 Iranians in recent weeks.

IRGC asserted that American information and communications technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI) firms were the "primary element in designing and tracking terrorist targets."

"From now on, the main institutions involved in terrorist operations will be our legitimate targets," the Corps said in the statement.

It singled out 18 companies, including industry giants such as Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Meta, Intel, Nvidia, Tesla, and Boeing. The list also includes financial and weapons firms like JP Morgan, General Electric (GE), Palantier, Spire Solutions, G42, and Oracle, among others.

Iran Now a Top Five Global Power, Says Former US Advisor - Global Research

American Professor Robert Pape has recently made a striking claim: Iran should no longer be seen as merely one among the top 20 powers, but rather as one of the world's top five. In an interview, the well-known US political scientist (who has advised the White House) argued that Iran's leverage over the Strait of Hormuz, combined with its advancing nuclear program, elevates it into a new category altogether.

Exclusive: Greek ships secretly supplying Israel with oil and military cargo | Middle East Eye

Greek shipping companies have been secretly transporting oil, coal and military cargo to Israel, Middle East Eye can reveal.

According to a new report, produced by the No Harbour for Genocide campaign and seen exclusively by MEE, at least 57 covert crude oil shipments were delivered to Israeli ports between May 2024 and December 2025, while Israel was carrying out its genocide in Gaza.

The approximately 47 million barrels of oil were taken to Israel via Turkey, with tracking signals disabled and false destinations listed, meaning the shipments were carried out in secret and in direct violation of Turkey's trade embargo on Israel.

In 2025, Greek-managed vessels were also involved in at least 13 shipments to Israel carrying ammunition, machine gun components and other military materials used by Elbit Systems, the country's largest arms manufacturer.

Between October 2023 and February 2026, eight covert coal deliveries totalling 751,000 tonnes were shipped from South Africa to Israel, according to satellite imagery and maritime tracking data.

US Economy: Tech Company Layoffs to Afford AI Data Centers - Global Research

Oracle is building new data centers in Michigan and Texas with additional expansion projected. The result?

Over 30,000 global employees fired with additional cuts coming this month. The pink slip: "... the position you currently hold will become redundant."

AI is accelerating its replacement of humans and contrary to Musk's bizarre predictions that this will create utopia, this results in unemployed persons. Unemployed persons cannot put food on the table or pay rent. Unemployed persons become angry. Unemployed persons increases criminal activity.

Amazon (16,000), Block (10,000) and META (2,000) are also laying off employees to prioritize AI investment. While much of the data center buildout has been on the table for years, the cost of data centers is directly impacted by the cost of construction, i.e., labor and materials. Those materials include concrete, steel, lithium batteries, diesel generators, copper and aluminum, rare-earth elements and microchips.
