Generals fired to prevent MUTINY; US loses MULTIPLE aircraft; Iran busts spy net, launches attack waves 92, 93; 40 states to open Hormuz without US, need US; Oracle bombed, Amazon exits - IRAN WAR NEWS - 3-Apr-2026 (update 4)

12bytes: In the purist spirit of 'FAFO' (fuck around, find out) Trump initiated a religious war at the direction of his Chabad-Lubivitch Zionist masters that he has been losing badly since 165 school girls were slaughtered by 2 US Tomahawk missiles during the opening salvos. Any delusions Trump had of achieving his ever-changing goals in the Middle East have since evaporated. US bases in the region have been largely destroyed and abandoned, leaving their hosts and Israel blind to incoming munitions and no one can stop Iran's hypersonic and multi-warhead missiles. Israel and the Gulf states are running out of interceptors. Their reporting of incoming missiles/drones being "intercepted" are largely lies and many of the "missiles" being intercepted are decoys. The damage to Israel is immense and worsens by the hour. The "Iron Dome" has been dismantled and reduced to providing Israeli's with a 1-2 minute warning to shelter, if any at all. It is strictly forbidden for people to report on the damage inflicted by Iran, many of whom have been arrested. Organizations publishing satellite imagery of damage to Israel and US bases are now forbidden to do so.

Trump seeks an exit ramp, but his back is against the Wailing Wall and 'plan B' is being fabricated on-the-fly. Worse still, it is a near certainty that even if the US pulled out, the Iranian's will continue attacking Israel until the parasitic Zionists have paid a price that Iran deems sufficient and that price increases with every bomb the US/Israel drops on their people, their leaders and their infrastructure. Meanwhile, Iran controls shipping in the Hormuz Strait, a primary shipping lane of global importance, and thus has its enemies by their proverbial balls until its demands are met, including US withdrawal from the region and the elimination of sanctions. What will the end look like? Will the US and/or Israel deploy nuclear weapons? Russia and China are unlikely to allow Iran to fall.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE 4

Trump's "Toughest Military Ever"? Dozens of US Military Aircraft Lost and Destroyed by "The Bad Guys". Will Pentagon's Humiliations Ever End? Will US-Israel be Able to Carry Out a Land Invasion? - Global Research

Ever since the United States launched its aggression against Iran (codenamed "Epic Fury", but aptly nicknamed "Epstein Fury" by many observers), things haven't been going great. Initial tactical losses have now turned into strategic humiliations for what Trump regularly calls "the toughest military ever".

The Pentagon is concluding the first month of this war with notable attrition of critical support aircraft, be it aerial refueling tankers or ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) platforms. These losses are disproportionately impactful because such assets underpin the entire US military power projection architecture in the Middle East (and beyond).

Since mid-March, the US has lost close to a dozen aerial refueling aircraft, specifically KC-135 "Stratotankers" (damaged beyond repair or completely destroyed, both in the air and on the ground). Dozens of crew members and support personnel have been killed or wounded in these precision strikes. The mainstream propaganda machine is doing its best to present these losses as supposed "friendly fire incidents, technical malfunctions, mid-air collisions, bird strikes", etc. In addition, dozens of drones have also been shot down by Iranian SAM (surface-to-air missile) systems, particularly MQ-9 "Reapers" that cost up to $35 million apiece.

US reports downed jet, helicopter hit during search mission | Middle East Eye

The United States said "search is underway" for a missing crew member after a jet was shot down in southwestern Iran, with one crew member rescued and another still unaccounted for, Al Jazeera reported.

Officials said the situation remains fluid as recovery efforts continue in the area.

The report added that the US also indicated that a Black Hawk helicopter involved in the search "was hit" but continued flying, while there were conflicting reports that another Black Hawk was also shot at.

Separately, an A-10 Warthog that provides close ground support has also been taken down, with one of its two crew members found and the other still being searched for.

12bytes: Word is, 2 Black Hawk's were downed, along with an F-16 and possibly 1 or more other aircraft beside those already confirmed. We'll know more soon, but it looks like Iran has really stepped up their game in air defense.

Iranian missile attacks spark fires, damage in central and southern Israel | Middle East Eye

Iranian missile attacks caused fires and damage in parts of central and southern Israel, according to Israeli media reports.

The YNet news outlet said a fire broke out in an apartment in Rosh Haayin, while a building in Petah Tikva and streets in Tel Aviv were damaged.

Emergency crews were also deployed in Bnei Brak, and Channel 12 reported a "fall" in Givatayim.

In southern Israel, a missile strike in the Negev area led to a fire and damage in an industrial zone.

"Damage was detected in an industrial area in the Negev following the firing from Iran to the south. At this time, there is no concern about the leakage of hazardous materials," YNet reported.

Sirens also sounded in the Arad and Dead Sea areas, while a suspected drone alert was reported earlier in the Western Galilee region.

Hezbollah claims rocket attacks as Israel launches strikes in Lebanon | Middle East Eye

Hezbollah said it "bombed the settlement of Shlomi with missiles as part of the warning it issued to the settlements," as tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border intensified.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that five rockets were also fired toward the city of Nahariya in the latest salvo, with some intercepted.

The Israeli Home Front Command said sirens sounded in Avivim and Yeroun in the Upper Galilee following rocket fire from Lebanon.

Al Jazeera reported that Israeli warplanes launched a second raid on the town of Sahmar in the Bekaa Valley of eastern Lebanon.

Iran hints at huge pending pressure on enemies after Yemen threatens to close Bab el-Mandeb Strait

As Iran's closure of Hormuz Strait to enemy vessels has already put intense pressure on adversaries, the Islamic Republic's top legislator hints at the prospect of additional momentous pressure with potential closure of Bab el-Mandeb Strait, another vital chokehold.

In a post on X on Friday, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, speaker of Majlis (Iran's Parliament), asked, "What share of global oil, LNG, wheat, rice, and fertilizer shipments transits the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait?"

US war secretary fires two more generals amid failure of anti-Iran aggression

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has dismissed two other senior Army officers amid Washington's failure to achieve objectives in its war of aggression against Iran.

The Pentagon announced on Thursday that Hegseth had fired David Hodne, who had been overseeing training and transformation initiatives, and William Green Jr., head of the Army's Chaplain Corps.

The removals, which were announced without providing an explanation, came as part of a sweeping Pentagon shake-up led by Hegseth, a warmonger.

Earlier in the day, the US war secretary also forced out Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George.

Shortly after the news, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed that General George is "retiring effective immediately."

Since taking office, Hegseth has dismissed more than a dozen high-ranking officers, including Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. James Slife, Defense Intelligence Agency head Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse, and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti.

Earlier this year, Hegseth also ordered the dismissal of one of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll's top advisers, Col. David Butler, a former spokesperson for Gen. Mark Milley.

Independent observers view the purge within the US military as a direct consequence of America's failure to impose its will against Iran, which resolutely defended its sovereignty throughout the imposed war.

UPDATE 3

Hegseth's Pentagon Purge Designed to Prevent a Mutiny: Karen Kwiatkowski

The secretary of war's dismissal of Army Chief of Staff General Randy George and two other top generals signals intensifying rot in the Department amid the Iran war, former senior DoD insider-turned whistleblower Karen Kwiatkowski says.

"General George represented "experience in Army battlefield operations," while general David Hodne and major general William Greene Jr had "their pulse on the readiness, and more importantly the attitudes and thinking," of younger soldiers," Kwiatkowski told Sputnik.

They see the Iran conflict as an "illegal and unneeded war," driven by politics, ego and a foreign power (Israel), and understand "the real damage inflicted on US forces and installations" in the Middle East over the past month, the retired Air Force Lt. Col. added.

Hegseth's "poor leadership skills," disrespect for service members, and "religious invocations for slaughter," have earned him "several degrees of contempt," and Kwiatkowski suspects that sentiments of "no confidence and dislike" are "roiling throughout the ranks."

"The reasons for the purges are Hegseth's fear of organizational and political dissent of the leadership of the military," stemming from "endless needless wars compounded by command mistakes" by recent administrations, from Covid vax mandates to the Iran crisis.

"If this affects even 10-20% of the military, that's a serious problem and the Pentagon will no longer have a fighting force it can rely on, no matter how many "yes men generals" are tapped to replace those who have been ousted", Kwiatkowski fears.

"Hegseth and the generals recognize there is no trust up or down the chain of command. Hegseth believes he can command that trust through sycophants; the generals very likely prefer a more structural approach of more and better training, and better civilian leadership...which is impossible at this time," she summed up.

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on April 3

Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.

On Friday, April 3, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.

Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 92 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.

Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories. Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime over the past year.

Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.

Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the US and the Zionist regime on April 3:

12bytes: I wanna highlight just a few very significant items from this report that indicate that Iran has done something to drastically improve its air defenses, potentially with the help of the Russians and/or Chinese:

  • In this operation, the Abraham Lincoln strike group of the US Navy in the northern Indian Ocean was also targeted with 4 Qadr-380 cruise missiles.
  • An enemy aircraft was destroyed in the skies of Qazvin by the IRGC's new advanced air defense system, under the control of the country's integrated air defense network.
  • A very advanced American fighter jet was shot down over central Iran, after being targeted by a modern air defense system belonging to the IRGC Aerospace Force.
  • The aerospace forces also targeted the "Ramat David" airbase, which hosts squadrons of Israeli F-16 fighter jets, southeast of Haifa, by successfully firing two ballistic missiles.
  • A second ultra-advanced American F-35 fighter jet was also targeted and destroyed in the skies of central Iran by the new IRGC aerospace defense system. The aforementioned fighter belongs to the (LAKEN-HEATH) squadron. This is the second US fighter jet to enter Iranian airspace in the past 12 hours that has been destroyed.
  • An Israeli-American A-10 aircraft was targeted and intercepted by the country's integrated air defense network systems in the southern waters near the Strait of Hormuz.
  • A "Lucas" suicide drone belonging to the US army was downed and landed on the waters of the Persian Gulf by the new advanced air defense system of the IRGC and under the control of the country's integrated air defense network in the Sirik region.
  • In the next stage, a heavy attack was also carried out against a unit of American "MQ1" drones at the "Ali Al-Salem" base.

Wave 93: Israeli military support centers targeted in joint retaliatory strike

Iranian and allied resistance forces executed Wave 93 of their retaliatory campaign against US-Israeli aggression, dealing precise blows to critical Israeli military staging grounds deep inside the occupied territories.

Wave 93 of Operation True Promise 4 was executed on Friday afternoon against targets in the north and the heart of the occupied territories, and dedicated to the great mujahid Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, according to a statement by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.

During this fierce assault, the centers of gathering and combat support of the Zionists in Western Galilee, Haifa, Kafr Kanna, and Krayot were precisely hit, the statement noted.

Detailing the tactical execution, this wave was carried out as a joint operation with the Islamic Resistance and a combination of solid and liquid fuel missiles, long-range and guided, and suicide drones, based on the statement.

It noted that the wave of drone and missile launches "will continue continuously, uninterruptedly, and shot after shot."

US rescue mission for 2 pilots downed over Iran fails - Yemen Press Agency

TEHRAN, April 03 (YPA) - Conflicting reports have emerged regarding an aerial confrontation and intensive search operations following the downing of a US fighter jet by Iranian air defenses earlier today.

According to the "Tasnim" news agency, citing informed sources, the US military launched a rescue attempt involving "Black Hawk" helicopters and a "C-130" transport aircraft. The mission reportedly failed and was forced to withdraw after coming under fire from air defense systems near the border.

U.S. A-10 Jet Was Lost, Black Hawk Helicopter Was Hit Amid Search Operation In Iran (Photos)

Another United States warplane involved in the war in Iran crashed in the Persian Gulf on April 3, The New York Times reported, citing two American officials.

According to the report, the A-10 Thunderbolt II attack jet went down near the Strait of Hormuz at around the same time that an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet was shot down over Iran. The report said the pilot from the jet was safely rescued. The U.S. officials did not provide further details on how the plane crashed.

Later, the Iranian military said that the jet was targeted by its air defenses over the Islamic Republic's southern waters, close to the Strait of Hormuz.

The production of the A-10, mainly used for close air support, stopped all the way back in 1984. At the time it cost just under $10 million.

The report of the aerial loss came amid an extensive U.S. military search and rescue operation in the southwestern Iranian province of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, where the F-15E was shot down earlier in the day. One of two crew members of the jet has been reportedly rescued, while the fate of the second remains unclear.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which claimed responsibility for downing the jet, said that its forces were searching for the crew members, along with locals.

The search and rescue operation has so far resulted in some losses. American news channel Newsmax reported that a Black Hawk helicopter - most likely a HH-60G Pave Hawk used by special forces - was hit while taking part in the daring operation. According to the report, the helicopter managed to exit Iranian territory safely and land securely.

A later report by American NBC News said that not just one, but two helicopters were hit during the ongoing search and rescue operation.

[...]

In a separate incident, a U.S. Air Force F-16CJ Wild Weasel fighter jet - specialized in hunting air defenses - was noted on aviation tracking websites flying in an area around the Iraq-Iran border while squawked 7700, the universal, international transponder code used by aircraft to immediately alert Air Traffic Control of a general emergency.

A similar situation was noted with a KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling tanker aircraft of the U.S. Air Force that was flying over Israel.

The recent American losses may be a sign that Iran air defense capabilities are recovering.

Irans Army announces downing American A-10 Warthog warplane

Iran's Army has announced downing of an American A-10 Warthog warplane by the Islamic Republic's integrated air defense network over the country's southern waters near the Strait of Hormuz.

The Army made the announcement in a statement on Friday, saying the targeted aircraft "was tracked and engaged by the Army Air Defense Force's systems, and subsequently crashed into the waters of the Persian Gulf."

Earlier in the day, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) had also announced shooting down two more advanced US warplanes, including a second F-35, crediting its newly developed and advanced air defenses for the successful strikes.

The Corps noted that the successful operations came despite US President Donald Trump's claim of destroying Iran's air defenses.

Also on Friday, the IRGC announced that another advanced enemy fighter jet had been targeted south of the southern Iranian Qeshm Island. The advanced aircraft subsequently crashed between the Hengam and Qeshm Islands, plummeting "into the depths of the ever-Persian Gulf," it noted.

Iran to regional hosts of US bases: Expel American forces or face crushing strikes

The central headquarters of the Iranian armed forces has issued a stark warning to the United States and its regional hosts after US President Donald Trump's latest threats.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, in a statement early on Saturday, threatened devastating strikes on American and Israeli assets as well as the infrastructure of countries that continue to host US military bases.

The warning comes in direct response to recent threats by Trump to continue targeting Iran's civilian infrastructure, like bridges, power plants, and electricity and energy facilities.

UPDATE 1

The "Casualty Cover-Up" Amid Trump's Wars in the Middle East

Almost 750 U.S. troops have been wounded or killed in the Middle East since October 2023, an analysis by The Intercept has found. But the Pentagon won't acknowledge it.

U.S. Central Command, or CENTCOM, which oversees military operations in the Middle East, appears to be engaged in what a defense official called a "casualty cover-up," offering The Intercept low-ball and outdated figures and failing to provide clarifications on military deaths and injuries.

At least 15 U.S. troops were wounded Friday in an Iranian attack on a Saudi air base that hosts American troops, according to two government officials who spoke with The Intercept. Hundreds of U.S. personnel have been killed or injured in the region since the U.S. launched a war on Iran just over a month ago.

True Promise 4: Strategic US radar, naval assets destroyed in wave 92

Iranian armed forces targeted and destroyed strategic US radar systems and naval equipment across the region and occupied territories in the 92nd wave of Operation True Promise 4 in retaliation of US-Israeli aggression on Iran.

The Public Relations of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that its Navy and Aerospace Force, starting Friday morning in the 92nd wave of Operation True Promise 4, crushed the radar systems and naval equipment of American terrorists in the region and the occupied Palestinian territories with ballistic missiles and suicide drones in several combined attacks, the statement read.

Detailing the tactical successes, in the first part of this naval operation, the gathering place of American amphibious landing craft utility (LCU) vessels at the port of "Shuwaikh" was crushed using ballistic missiles, the statement noted.

Furthermore, the "AR-327" long-range three-dimensional early warning air radar deployed at the "Jabal Al Dukhan" radar site in Bahrain was struck and destroyed in another stage by a drone attack, based on the statement.

IRGC Aerospace at dawn on Friday, and in continuation of last night's attacks, successfully fired two ballistic missiles, crushing the Ramat David airbase, host to Israeli F-16 fighter squadrons in southeast Haifa, the statement detailed.

In another part of the IRGC Aerospace offensive and missile operation, and in line with the fire-for-fire tactic and continuous firing, more than 50 points in the heart of Tel Aviv and the occupied territories were effectively targeted by firing Khorramshahr 4 multi-warhead missiles, the statement declared.

Iran's retaliatory strikes have inflicted heavy losses on Washington and Tel Aviv and demonstrated the futility of their military posturing, the IRGC said, adding that targeted and comprehensive attacks in this wave are continuing, the statement added.

Israel hit by missile attacks from 3 fronts, heavy damage in Petah Tikva near Tel Aviv - Middle East Monitor

Sirens sounded on Thursday evening in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and surrounding areas, as well as the Dead Sea region, after three waves of missile launches from Iran and Yemen within less than two hours.

Israeli Army Radio reported that "missile fragments" fell in areas around Tel Aviv following the Iranian strikes, but gave no immediate details on damage or casualties.

In a related development, the Houthi group, also known as Ansar Allah, said it had carried out its fourth military attack against Israel since joining the escalating regional confrontation last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced it had launched 55 attacks targeting Israeli settlements, forces, vehicles and military sites.

12bytes: What Israel identifies as "missile fragments" is almost certainly a cluster munition which Iran has been using more of, especially over the last couple of days.

Iran Shoots Down American F-15 Fighter Jet, Shares Photos Of Wreckage

Iranian air defenses shot down on April 3 a fighter jet of the United States Air Force, and shared photos showing some of the wreckage.

Initially, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that it had shot down an F-35 Lightning II over the central region of the Islamic Republic, but the wreckage photos revealed that the fighter jet was in fact an F-15E Strike Eagle, specifically from the U.S. Air Force's 48th Fighter Wing based at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom.

12bytes: South Front may be wrong about a misidentification. Looks like 2 planes may have been hit today, an F-35 and an F-15.

For Helma: Iran drones bear orphan's name as US pilot hideout decimated

Iranian forces have launched a massive new wave of retaliatory drone and missile strikes, with one drone dedicated to orphaned toddler "Helma", decimating a secret hideout of American fighter pilots and pounding US and Israeli military assets across the region.

[...]

National and revolutionary slogans were inscribed on the Army's "Arash 2" suicide drones deployed against hostile Zionist and American targets. "For Helma, the daughter of Tabriz, the daughter of Iran," one message read.

One of the drones also bore the name and photo of "wanted" Leigh R. Tate, the commander of USS Spruance, responsible for killing more than 170 children in an elementary school in Minab on the first day of the aggression. "We will come for each one of you," it read.

Helma, an 18-month-old girl, is the sole survivor of the 5-member Mirzadeh family, whose father, mother, brother, and sister were martyred in their home by American bombs in Tabriz on March 26.

Strikes on US assets and pilot hideouts

Since dawn Friday, the IRGC Navy has continued the 91st wave of Operation True Promise 4, according to a statement by the force's public relations

During this phase, military and infrastructure targets belonging to US-Zionist terrorists in the southern countries of the Persian Gulf were heavily attacked with a massive barrage of ballistic missiles, Qadir cruise missiles, and suicide drones.

In a strike in the North Indian Ocean, the aggressor American Abraham Lincoln strike group was targeted with four Qadr 380 cruise missiles, said the statement.

The second wave of this intelligence and offensive operation delivered a devastating blow to US personnel. Using precision-guided ballistic missiles, the IRGC directly hit a secret gathering place and hideout of American flight engineers and fighter pilots outside an enemy base in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the IRGC, field reports and extensive ambulance traffic at the site indicate a massive number of dead and wounded American personnel.

In the next phase, Iranian forces launched a heavy assault against a US "MQ1" drone unit stationed at the Ali Al Salem airbase.

Massive strike on Israeli-occupied territories

Simultaneously, the devastating wave of attacks extended deep into the occupied territories. Troop deployments, military-industrial companies, and support equipment of the Zionist regime in western Tel Aviv and the port of Eilat were targeted and completely destroyed, said the IRGC.

These strikes were carried out using long-range liquid and solid-fuel, as well as super-heavy missile systems.

Kuwait desalination plant, oil refinery hit by missile and drone strikes | US-Israel war on Iran News | Al Jazeera

Kuwait says a power and desalination plant has been hit by an Iranian attack, as Gulf countries continue to face heavy retaliatory strikes on the 35th day of the United States and Israel's war on Iran.

12bytes: US/Israel blew-up Iran's single desalination plant that they don't need. The GCC states cannot survive without theirs. The idiocy is ongoing; the US/Israel destroy Iranian infrastructure, followed by Iran retaliating with more significant strikes to the same sort of targets. Who are the morons picking targets for the US that keep shooting themselves in both feet? Same is true for the IDF which as lost in the neighborhood of 150 very expensive tanks; they keep repeating the same mistakes and Hezbollah capitalizes on their stupidity every time.

Triple veto blocks Arab push to reopen Strait of Hormuz by force - Middle East Monitor

Russia, China and France have blocked a broad Arab initiative aimed at securing international backing for military action against Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, The New York Times reported.

[...]

Russia, China and France said their stance was based on a "principled opposition to any language authorising force". This position has been widely interpreted as effectively allowing Iran to continue holding the global economy hostage and restricting the flow of oil and goods.

The development highlights deep divisions within the international community. France aligned with Russia and China in blocking what was described as a necessary military decision against Tehran, while the United States and Israel continue their military actions against Iran and reject calls for a ceasefire.

12bytes: No one gives a shit about France, but the torpedoing of the initiative by Russia and China is significant. It's becoming more clear that they are not going to allow Iran to be destroyed, not that the GCC states could do much (if anything) anyway.

US allies are devising a Plan B for the Strait of Hormuz without Washington's involvement - Bloomberg

On 2 April 2026, the United Kingdom hosted a virtual meeting attended by more than 40 countries from Europe, the Middle East and Asia, as well as Australia and Canada.

At the meeting, the leaders concluded that issues relating to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz must be resolved in the ceasefire negotiations between the US and Iran. An option is also being considered whereby this issue would be resolved without Washington's involvement, as meeting participants fear that US President Donald Trump will withdraw from the Middle East conflict whilst leaving the problems with the strait unresolved, the report states.

US Could Soon Run Out Of Tomahawk Missiles Amid War With Iran

Since the monthly consumption of Tomahawk missiles greatly exceeds their yearly production, the United States cannot supply weapons to Ukraine, contain China, and wage war against Iran all at once. Additionally, the US cannot boost production of these missiles because manufacturers are reluctant to work harder for lower profit margins.

The US armed forces could run out of their Tomahawk missile supply in roughly three and a half months if they continue using them at the current pace against Iran. Washington planned to spend $11 billion in the first four days of Operation Epic Fury and another $50 billion on additional military needs, but it appears this could exceed the budget.

The US has postponed the transfer of 400 Tomahawk missiles to Japan due to a shortage in its own stockpiles - Bloomberg

The US has informed Japan that the delivery of 400 Tomahawk cruise missiles, which Tokyo was due to receive by March 2028, will be delayed due to Washington's depleted stockpiles amid the conflict with Iran.

'INCOHERENT, ILLEGAL, RECKLESS' Jeffrey Sachs on Trump's Threat to BOMB IRAN 'Back To The Stone Ag..

President Trump gave a primetime address, where he updated the world on the war in Iran, and said: "We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong."

He then insisted that "discussions are ongoing" and Iran wants to make a deal. Tehran has said that's not the case, and they've refused to enter into a third round of negotiations after they were attacked during the first two attempts.

Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, best-selling author, and professor at Columbia University, described Trump's threats as "incoherent, nasty, illegal and reckless," noting that the U.S. president is broadcasting his war crimes to the world, declaring he wants to turn Iran into the next Gaza, and giving Iran no reason to consider talks.

Trump threatens expanded US strikes on Iran civilian infrastructure | Middle East Eye

Nearly five weeks after the war began with a joint US-Israeli assault, the conflict continues to destabilise the region and rattle global markets.

Posting late on Thursday, Trump said the US military "hasn't even started destroying what's left in Iran. Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants," adding Iran's leadership "knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!"

Iranian media said a US strike on a bridge near Tehran killed eight people and wounded 95.

"Striking civilian structures, including unfinished bridges, will not compel Iranians to surrender," said Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

He said such actions instead "convey the defeat and moral collapse of an enemy in disarray".

Iran downs two advanced US jets, including second F-35

Iranian forces shot down two more advanced US fighter jets today, including a second F-35, despite US President Donald Trump's claim of destroying Iran's air defenses.

In a statement on Friday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said that its newly developed and advanced air defenses had shot down a stealth F-35 fighter jet in central Iran.

The downed aircraft belonged to the Lakenheath squadron, it said, adding that the fighter jet was completely destroyed and crashed.

Due to the complete disintegration of the aircraft, the fate of the pilot remains unknown, it noted.

Earlier on Friday, the IRGC announced that another advanced enemy fighter jet was targeted by air defense systems south of Qeshm Island.

The advanced aircraft subsequently crashed between Hengam and Qeshm islands, plummeting "into the depths of the ever-Persian Gulf."

According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of Iran's Ministry of Intelligence on Wednesday, the forces uncovered a large consignment of sophisticated espionage and communication equipment, including 45 US and Israeli-built devices, as it was being smuggled into the country through northwestern borders.

The devices were meant to be distributed among operatives across the country.

Additionally, Iranian intelligence forces were able to identify and arrest eight separatist militants, of whom four had set up a terror cell in the city of Piranshahr and were sharing information on the coordinates of Iranian military installations with the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.

The other terrorists were detected and captured in the cities of Urmia and Oshnaviyeh.

In a related development, an individual engaged in espionage activities at the behest of the US and Israel was nabbed in Piranshahr.

He was collecting information on Iran's sensitive sites and passing it to enemies.

Hegseth fires US Army chief as failed war on Iran exposes deep military cracks

Since taking office, Hegseth, a warmonger, has fired more than a dozen high-ranking officers, including Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. James Slife, Defense Intelligence Agency head Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse, and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti.

Earlier this year, Hegseth also ordered the dismissal of one of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll's top advisers, Col. David Butler, a former spokesperson for Gen. Mark Milley.

Independent observers view the purge in the US military as direct fallout from the United States' inability to impose its will in the face of Iran's resolute defense of its sovereignty in the face of the imposed war.

Washington's repeated military and intelligence setbacks have triggered a blame game inside the Pentagon. George, closely tied to the Biden administration's policies, has become a convenient scapegoat for the Trump administration's failed policies amid the war against Iran.

The timing of the ouster is particularly telling. It follows months of escalating US-Israeli provocations against Iran, all of which have ended in strategic embarrassment for the aggressors.
