Trump on Iran nuclear deal

Trump Says Nuclear Deal With Iran Is Close | South Front

United States President Donald Trump said on May 15 that a nuclear deal with Iran may be close, voicing optimism at avoiding a military confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

"We're not going to be making any nuclear dust in Iran," Trump said after a meeting in the Qatari capital, Doha, with business leaders. "I think we're getting close to maybe doing a deal without having to do this."

"So we'll see what happens but we're in very serious negotiations with Iran for long-term peace," the President continued.

"Iran has sort of agreed to the terms," he added. "We're getting close to maybe doing a deal."

While significant progress has been apparently made in the talks between the U.S. and Iran, a nuclear deal may not see the light for weeks, or even months. Israel has so far done nothing to intervene in the talks, but this could happen soon. After all, it was Israeli pressure that pushed Trump to pull out of the 2015 nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

The anti-free speech DiC (Dingbat in Charge)--you know, the bought and paid for Zionist idiot that the Houthi's "begged" to stop bombing them ... the one that promised to end the Russia-Ukraine while he was president-elect--now says that the U.S. is "close" to making a deal with Iran, a country that essentially forbids itself from developing nuclear weapons, in order to prevent it from developing nuclear weapons. All this after the DiC pulls out of the first nuclear deal ... that prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons ... that it never wanted.

Seems the Trump administration can't do anything right. The number of deportations of illegals is apparently now less than it was during the Biden years and DHS can't seem to find the 300k trafficked children; he failed to end the Ukraine-Russia war in "24 hours" (Trump has little leverage with Russia, but could still bring an immediate end to the war by not shipping more weapons and intelligence to Ukraine); the U.S. was humiliated by Yemen, multiple times; his promise to murder more Palestinians if they didn't release all the Israeli hostages from 7-Oct. was a big fat nothing burger; he cancels the nuclear deal with Iran during his first term, then whines about Iran developing nukes.

If everything i'm hearing is accurate, you're damn right the U.S. is going to make a deal with Iran because it'd get its ass handed to it if it attacked the country that's been preparing for war with the U.S. for decades and, as such, seems to have far more deep underground missile bases than Trump has IQ points.

Trumps Iran comments 'insulting'; wont conceal US, Israeli crimes: Foreign Ministry

On Tuesday, Trump had labeled Iran as the "most destructive force" in the West Asia region.

He had accused the country of fueling regional instability and said that the United States would not allow it to develop a "nuclear weapon," rebuffing Tehran total rejection of such non-conventional arms.

Trump had, meanwhile, threatened to deploy "massive maximum pressure" against the Islamic Republic.

The Foreign Ministry's statement pointed out that the accusations had come while the Israeli regime, backed by the United States, continued "the most brutal colonial genocide in occupied Palestine."

It was referring to the regime's October 2023-present genocidal warfare against the Gaza Strip that has so far claimed the lives of more than 52,900 Palestinians, mostly women and children. The war has received unrestricted military and political support on the part of the US.
