U.S./Israel losing badly, Trump 'begs for off ramp', bombs 69th school; Iran sets sights on Israel - IRAN WAR NEWS - 10-Mar-2026 (update 5)

12bytes: There's a claim floating that 173 Delta Force operators were captured by the Iranians. This claim appears to be false for a number of reasons, one being that the image of the "captured" soldiers has a Google Gemini watermark on it (it's AI generated). That said, Iran may have captured an unknown number of U.S. soldiers previous to this. The number of dead and wounded U.S. personnel is unknown but could be in the neighborhood of 500 to 1000 dead. Iran is hitting U.S. bases and CIA facilities throughout the Gulf region, thus it is simply a fantasy that the death toll could be as low as the U.S. is stating.

Life goes on in Tehran, even under the shadow of war - Tehran Times

TEHRAN - Despite the heavy atmosphere and the concerns that are repeated every day, Tehran is still a city where life goes on; a city where millions of people leave their homes every morning, work, study, shop, and return home at night.

War, no matter how close it is, has not been able to take the rhythm of life from this metropolis; it has only changed it, made it more cautious, and heightened sensitivities.

On the main streets of the city, traffic is still flowing, the subway is crowded, buses are full of passengers, and shops are open.

IRGC announces launching multiple new waves of Operation True Promise 4

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced launching multiple new waves of its ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4 against sensitive and strategic American and Zionist targets.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Corps' Public Relations Office reported taking place of the "37th wave" of the operation.

The latest wave "was carried out over more than three hours, with continuous, multi-layered missile strikes, including the heaviest type of missiles," the Corps stated.

During this phase, hostile targets in Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan, the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, and military centers in Be'er Ya'akov in the heart of Tel Aviv were struck, it said.

It identified some other targets as a satellite communication center that was hit in southern Tel Aviv for the second time and the occupied port of Haifa.

The targets were hit using the Kheibar Shekan, Qadr, and the "heavy and devastating" Khorramshahr missiles, the statement read.

All of the projectiles were carrying multiple warheads, with the Qadr variant carrying warheads weighing "one ton."

IRAN UNLEASHES NEW MISSILES, REINFORCES STRAIT OF HORMUZ CLOSURE AS WAR ESCALATES | Mark Sleboda

President Trump is throwing yet another temper tantrum on social media-this time, over Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and the chaos that has ensued for both states in the Persian Gulf that rely heavily on oil exports and for the regions of the world (from India to Europe) who get a significant portion of their oil from the Middle East.

In fact, reports are saying that the Trump Admin is even considering easing sanctions on Russian oil, as a way to try to cool prices and aid global supply.

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that Iran is making sure it isn't the only one feeling the pain from the illegal war of aggression the U.S. and Israel are waging against the Iranian people. As a result, we are seeing Iran take unprecedented steps to impact that global economy, for as long as they are under attack.

The origins of the magical "6 Million Jews" number

Fun fact: the "6 million" number originates from the Jewish Talmud (you know, the fun book that tells Jews that it's totally fine and encouraged to lie, cheat, steal, and rape gentile children as long as they're under 9 y/o)

The Talmud prophesized (summarizing):

6 million of "God's chosen people" need to die in order for their messiah to return.

This is why 6 million was the number chosen for the fraudulent Holocaust story. Satellite Images Indicate Iran Hit Two Patriot Systems Among Other Targets In Iraq And Kuwait (Photos)South Front

Iran's latest retaliatory strikes hit at least two American-made MIM-104 Patriot systems in neighboring countries, according to satellite images released on March 9 and 10.

The first system was hit at Harir Air Base, located close to the town of Harir in the governorate of Erbil in Iraq's Kurdistan Region. This system is deployed by the United States military, which maintains a large presence at the air base for intelligence gathering, and special operations. The base is regularly used by the elite Delta Force.

The images, which were released by Persian media, indicate that at least one of the system's M901-series launching stations was hit.

The images also show damage to at least two very large hangars at the air base, which were likely used by the U.S. military for maintenance.

The other Patriot was struck at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, according to images from the European Sentinel-2 satellite, which appears to show damage at the area where the system's AN/MPQ-53/65 tracking radar is believed to be deployed.

The air base, located west of the city of Al Jahra, is considered one of the key airlift and logistics gateways for the U.S. military in the Middle East, hosting the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing. Still, the Patriot deployed there is likely owned by the Kuwaiti military.

Other images from Persian media show more damage at Ali Al Salem, with several aircraft hangars, fuel tanks and even barracks used by U.S. troops damaged or destroyed.

Col Doug Macgregor: IRAN NOT RUNNING OUT of MISSILES - YouTube

Col Doug Macgregor argues that claims the war with Iran will end soon or that Iran's capabilities are nearly destroyed are not supported by evidence. Despite reports that Iran's air defenses and missile systems have been heavily degraded, Iran is still shooting down U.S. reconnaissance platforms, continuing to launch ballistic missiles, and inflicting significant damage on Israel.

They suggest official U.S. statements-such as **Donald Trump claiming a 90% drop in Iranian missile launchers and major drone reductions-may exaggerate battlefield success, similar to overly optimistic damage assessments during the **Gulf War air campaign before **Operation Desert Storm. Leadership assassinations have also failed to destabilize Iran because replacements quickly take over.

The discussion stresses that the economic consequences are already severe:

About 25% of global oil supply is offline.

Gulf nations have cut 6.7 million barrels per day (about 33% of regional production) due to storage limits and shipping disruptions.

35% of global fertilizer exports are halted.

These disruptions threaten higher energy prices, rising electricity costs, inflation, and higher food prices worldwide. The U.S. may initially feel less impact because of domestic oil production, but since oil is a global commodity, inflation and economic pressure will eventually hit the U.S. economy as well.

The speaker concludes that:

The war is unlikely to end soon.

Global economic strain could push other countries to pressure the U.S. to end the conflict.

Major powers like China and Russia may increasingly support Iran if the crisis deepens.

True Promise 4: Iran and resistance axis ops. against US-Israeli assets on Mar. 10

Iranian armed forces and resistance groups across the region continue to carry out retaliatory military operations against the United States and the Israeli regime.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army conducted multiple operations as part of Operation True Promise 4, which was launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28.

Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 34 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.

Hezbollah's operations have been primarily focused on Israeli military sites in the occupied territories.

Its operations are both in response to the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the relentless ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime.

Iraqi resistance groups have also been carrying out daily operations, primarily against American military assets in Iraq and other Arab countries.

Below is a list of operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces, as well as resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, against the United States and the Zionist regime on Tuesday, March 10:

Trump Might Want to End the War. Iran Won't Do It on His Terms.

As the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran stretches into its second week, President Donald Trump has been floating the idea that he wants to declare Mission Accomplished. "We will. We've already won in many ways, but we haven't won enough," Trump declared on Monday afternoon in a speech before Republican lawmakers in Florida.

Iran, however, has shown no sign of ceasing its attacks. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is steadily launching missiles at cities across Israel and continues to strike U.S. military assets and outposts in the Persian Gulf. "The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are capable of continuing at least a six-month intense war at the current pace of operations," IRGC spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naini said Sunday in video remarks broadcast on state media. "Iran will determine when the war ends."

Trump reportedly wants to seize Iran's Kharg Island. He floated the idea 40 years ago | Middle East Eye

US President Donald Trump mulled over taking over Iran's oil-export hub Kharg Island as a way to assert US power in the Gulf and punish the Islamic Republic. The idea came to him nearly 40 years ago.

"I'd be harsh on Iran. They've been beating us psychologically, making us look [like] a bunch of fools," Trump told the Guardian in 1988.

"One bullet shot at one of our men or ships, and I'd do a number on Kharg Island. I'd go in and take it," he added.

Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, in a statement released on Tuesday, described US President Donald Trump as a "delusional" leader who launched a "savage aggression" against Iran under the false pretext of defending its people, while in reality acting to preserve the "child-killing Zionist regime."

"Trump, when he found his army trapped against the powerful Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, to compensate for his defeat, bombed the very people under the slogan of whose defense he had started the war, targeting innocent men, women, and children," he said.

IRAN REFUSES CEASEFIRE DEMANDS, VOWS TO USE 'ONE TON' WARHEADS AS IRANIANS UNITE | Setareh Sadeqi

Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's National Security Council, responded to Trump's latest threat of "death, fire and fury," by declaring that the Iranian people: "do not fear your hollow threats; for those greater than you have failed to erase it... So beware lest you be the ones to vanish."

Dr. Setareh Sadeqi, of the University of Tehran, noted that the Iranian people are more united than ever, in the face of ongoing threats to their nation from the US, and the world will continue to see an unprecedented response as Iran fights for its sovereignty.

IRAN WAR: Where's It Heading Now? - Patrick Henningsen & Lt Col Daniel Davis - 21st Century Wire

The U.S. war with Iran is illegal under both U.S. and international law, claiming it was launched without constitutional authorization and therefore could qualify as a war of aggression, which he calls the most serious war crime under the principles established at the Nuremberg Trials-an undeclared and unprovoked war of choice. Thus, the excuse of "just following orders" would not protect U.S. military personnel from potential war-crimes charges under current international and domestic laws. Trump has lied, having given changing explanations for the war-first claiming it was to stop an imminent threat, then saying it was connected to Israel's planned attack on Iran, and later asserting Iran had been "at war with the U.S. for 47 years." We also look at the influence of pro-Israel interests, with U.S. foreign-policy decisions and cabinet appointments under Donald Trump heavily influenced by the Israeli lobby and the government of Benjamin Netanyahu-because key officials were chosen on the basis of their relationship with the Israel lobby.

Growing Doubts by US and Israel About the War with Iran

Despite bold claims from Donald Trump and his Secretary of War that Iran has lost the war and is on the cusp of surrendering, Iran has not got the memo and continues an unrelenting wave of a drone and missile attacks on US targets in the Persian Gulf and on targets throughout Israel. During an interview with CBS News, Donald Trump stated that the "military operation" against Iran is actually completed. He said:

I think the war, by and large, is over. They [the Iranian side] have no fleet, no communications, no aviation left.

In private, however, Trump's advisers have urged him privately to look for an exit plan from the Iran war amid spiking oil prices and concerns that a prolonged conflict could spark political backlash, according to WSJ. Officials close to the president are urging him to start outlining an exit strategy from the conflict while portraying the military campaign as having largely achieved its goals. Discussions in Washington are increasingly focused on declaring success and shifting toward a controlled withdrawal before the economic and political costs rise further.

Trumps aides urging him in private to devise exit plan from Iran war

A number of US President Donald Trump's advisers are privately calling on him to publicly express an exit plan from the large-scale and unprovoked military aggression that it is waging alongside Israel against Iran.

The War on Iran - and Washington's Missing Exit Strategy - Antiwar.com

The United States has once again launched a war in the Middle East based on false claims about weapons of mass destruction. Like the invasion of Iraq in 2003, the U.S. assault on Iran rests on allegations that international inspectors have already debunked. But beyond the false pretext lies an even more pressing question that few officials in Washington seem willing - or able - to answer: What is the U.S. exit strategy from its war on Iran?

President Trump has justified the attack by claiming that Iran refuses to renounce nuclear weapons. As he prepared to launch the war, Trump repeatedly claimed, "We haven't heard those secret words: 'We will never have a nuclear weapon.'" Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, responded by reiterating Iran's long-standing policy, stating plainly: "Iran will under no circumstances ever develop a nuclear weapon."

After years of unprecedented inspections, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) never found evidence that Iran had an active nuclear weapons program.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf says 'not seeking ceasefire' | Middle East Eye

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf in a post on X said that the country is no longer seeking to reach a truce agreement amid ongoing US-Israeli attacks.

"Absolutely, we are not seeking a ceasefire; we believe we must strike the aggressor in the mouth so that it learns a lesson and never again even thinks of aggressing against our dear Iran," he said on Tuesday.

"The Zionist regime sees its ignoble existence in perpetuating the cycle of 'war-negotiation-ceasefire and then war again' in order to consolidate its domination. We will break this cycle."

Iran destroys 10 US radars in region, says it will decide when war ends

The Iranian military forces have so far managed to destroy 10 highly advanced radar systems of the United States in the Persian Gulf region, the IRGC says, stressing that Tehran, and not Washington, is the one that determines the end of the current war.

The spokesperson of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, made the remarks on Tuesday, ten days after a US-Israeli military coalition began an unprovoked war of aggression on the Islamic Republic.

"We know that your ammunition stockpiles are running out and you are desperately seeking a way out of the war that would save your face. Why don't you tell the truth to the American people?" he addressed American authorities.

US President Donald "Trump does not like the American people to realize that all the US military infrastructure in the Persian Gulf region has been eliminated; that nearly 10 highly advanced US radar systems in the region and a large number of your expensive drones have been destroyed by Iran's air defense systems," Brigadier General Naeini added.

He also said Iran "made a big mistake" in selecting Mojtaba Khamenei as supreme leader following the killing of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has threatened to assassinate anyone who takes the post.

John Kiriakou: CIA Hit in Iran's Retaliation Strike - Breakdown of WAR

In-depth analysis of escalating US-Iran conflict following targeted strikes and civilian casualties. Examines Iran's asymmetric warfare strategy using low-cost drones against US bases and Gulf oil infrastructure, challenging assumptions of quick victory. Discusses miscalculations in expecting Iranian collapse, the vulnerability of Arab Gulf states despite high defense spending, and questions about US reliability as a negotiating partner. Explores how neoconservative influences shape current policy, the unrealistic nature of "unconditional surrender" rhetoric, and risks of nuclear escalation. Addresses potential proxy operations via Kurdish groups, politicization of intelligence, and reliance on foreign sources over domestic analysis. Considers broader implications: unsustainable US defense spending, infrastructure neglect, and BRICS currency developments challenging petrodollar dominance. Concludes that Iranian resilience, historical experience from the Iran-Iraq war, and asymmetric capabilities suggest prolonged conflict rather than swift resolution, with regional stability and global economic impacts at stake.

Prof. Xueqin Jiang discusses the wider consequences of the war against Iran: The US empire commits suicide, Israel increasingly becomes a theocracy, Iran rebuilds as a regional power, instability spreads to East Asia, Europe's relevance continues to collapse as it fails to adjust to the new world, Russia will escalate in a big way, and China will fail to preserve the rules of the current old world order that made it so prosperous.

Bahrain Base, Covert Deployment Site Hit Hard Overnight As Iran Renews Strikes In Gulf (Videos)South Front

At least one person was killed and several others injured in Iranian strikes on Bahrain's capital, the Gulf states' Interior Ministry said early on March 10, after the Islamic Republic renewed strikes across the region overnight in retaliation to the war waged against it by the United States and Israel.

"A 29-year-old Bahraini woman died and eight people were injured as a result of the blatant Iranian aggression against a residential building in Manama," the ministry said on X.

The building hit was not, however, a residential one. It was identified as Millennium Tower, which mainly houses private business.

Iran has repeatedly accused the U.S. of sheltering its troops and setting up intelligence operations centers at similar business buildings and hotels in Gulf states. Early on in the war, it was even confirmed that two American Defense Department employees were wounded in an Iranian strike that targeted a Manama hotel.

In addition to the Millennium Tower, Persian media said that the American headquarters at Isa Air Base in southern Bahrain was hit. This was confirmed by a video posted online. The U.S. maintains a camp to support aerial port operations there.

There were also confirmed reports of damage at a water desalination plant in the Gulf state, which gets 60% of its drinking water from such facilities. It's worth noting that just two days earlier, Bahrain accused the Islamic Republic of hitting one of its water desalination plants.

Also overnight, warning sirens sounded in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. At the same time, the Saudi Ministry of Defense said it had destroyed two drones over the kingdom's oil-rich eastern region, and in Kuwait, the National Guard said it shot down six drones attacking the states' northern and southern areas.

UPDATE 1

Pepe Escobar: Iran Has Served the US an Eviction Notice

The new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, 57, chosen by the Assembly of Experts, so far has not spoken a single word in public.

The IRGC is speaking for him. From the start, Mojtaba was the preferred candidate to succeed Ayatollah Khamenei, the man who planned in meticulous detail how to break the Empire's back.

The IRGC is now showing to the whole planet, especially the Global South, what was lying behind the "restraint" advised by Khamenei for years.

In a matter of days, the IRGC blinded US radars across the West Asia spectrum; weaponized the Strait of Hormuz, sending the global economy into a tailspin; and handed to Washington what for all practical purposes amounts to an intimation to surrender.

U.S. Lost Drones Worth $330 Million Over Iran, Israel's Losses Are Even More Costly (Videos, Photos)South Front

The United States military has lost 11 MQ-9 Reaper combat drones since the start of the war on Iran, CBS News reported on March 9, citing American officials.

The tenth and eleventh MQ-9s were shot down earlier on the same day, according to the news network. The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the unified military headquarters of the Islamic Republic, did release videos showing the interceptions of two such drones over the southern province of Bushehr.

MQ-9 combat drones, which cost upwards of $30 million per a unit, are primarily used to collect intelligence, but have the ability to conduct pinpoint strikes. The advanced drones can operate for more than 27 hours and reach altitudes of over 25,000 feet.

US soldiers 'displaced and roaming' as they flee bases after Iran attacks: IRGC

The spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says US soldiers have become displaced in cities across the region as they continue to flee Iran's retaliatory strikes.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Brigadier General Alimohammad Naeini said that US President Donald Trump has tried to portray the situation as entirely normal for American soldiers engaged in joint military aggression with Israel against Iran.

"...American soldiers, fleeing from US bases, are wandering through the region's cities with their backpacks, and some have sought refuge in local hotels," Naeini said.

Significant portion of US-Israeli radar capabilities destroyed: Iran's Army

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) have successfully neutralized a major part of the US-Israeli radar capabilities, making Israeli military sites more vulnerable to precision strikes, says a military spokesman.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia of the Iranian Army said on Tuesday that the destruction of these surveillance systems has allowed advanced Iranian drones to penetrate air defenses more easily than in the past.

"The Army's indigenous and advanced drones, relying on modern technology and updated guidance systems, have performed effectively in destroying enemy positions," General Akraminia said.

He said the Army and IRGC are now hitting enemy targets with "higher precision" due to the degradation of their early-warning systems.

'Beware lest you be the ones to vanish': Iran's Larijani hits back after Trump threat | Middle East Eye

Trump posted on Truth Social late on Monday, threatening to strike Iran hard if it continued to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed.

"They will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far," he wrote.

Trump said the US would take out targets that would "make it virtually impossible for Iran to ever be built back, as a Nation, again".

"Death, Fire, and Fury will reign upon them - But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen!" he said, adding that it would be a gift to China and nations dependent on the strait.

Larijani responded on X, in both Persian and Arabic.

He wrote: "The Ashura-loving Iranian people do not fear your hollow threats; for those greater than you have failed to erase it...

"So beware lest you be the ones to vanish."

He later added on X: "Strait of Hormuz will either be a Strait of peace and prosperity for all or will be a Strait of defeat and suffering for warmongers."

IRAN WAR WILL TRIGGER GLOBAL ECONOMIC COLLAPSE + US MILITARY LYING ABOUT CASUALTIES | Larry Johnso..

President Trump's rhetoric on the war in Iran continues to be all over the place, as he claimed on Monday that it was "very complete," but then said it was both complete and "just the beginning," when questioned by reporters.

He also continued to throw a temper tantrum over Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz, while claiming the U.S. has "wiped every single force in Iran out" (except the ones guarding the Strait, apparently)

Former CIA Analyst Larry Johnson noted that the war the U.S. and Israel have waged against Iran has the power to "trigger a global economic collapse," as oil traffic comes to a halt and the U.S. vassal states in the Persian Gulf come under fire from Iran.

Iran may have spent years preparing for a prolonged war, but the region is acting as though they were taken by surprise...

Why Trump and Netanyahu are the most dangerous men on the planet | Middle East Eye

It's difficult to know who is deluding themselves more about the war on Iran: US President Donald Trump or Grok.

Elon Musk's AI platform wrongly claimed that footage of a fire in Glasgow was related to an incident in Tel Aviv, and it also confused a video appearing to show oil fires in Iran with a 2017 blaze near Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, in a dizzying stream of social media posts since the US attacked Iran, Trump has variously called for a mass uprising, demanded the country's unconditional surrender, claimed that he would be directly involved in choosing Iran's next leader, suggested that Iran is being beaten to hell, and vowed to widen his target list.

But his most significant post called the assassination of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei "the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country".

This was a chance the Iranian people did not take. They instead came out onto the streets by the thousands to mourn Khamenei while the bombing was taking place.

Satanic Pete Hegseth Calls for Brutal Murder of Iranians "While they are Down".

President Trump says "I'm proud of you Pete, you're doing a great job".

That is all the proof that's needed to know the state of US leadership this March 2026. Actually, the state of the North American electorate, because large numbers of supposedly 'human beings' allowed these tyrants to get into office and still support them in spite of their brazenly fascist behaviour.

Then, at the time of writing, Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of England, has telephoned Donald Trump "to share heartfelt condolences" on the death of six US servicemen in the Middle East. But not a word about thousands of murdered Iranians.

California is embedding age verification directly into digital devices - The Expose

Starting from next year, all Apple and Android devices sold in California will have to classify users by age during initial setup. Due to the so-called "California effect," it will cause other jurisdictions - both within the US and globally - to adopt similar rules, with or without state or national legislation being passed.

The law classifies user identities at the operating system level. Once embedded, that regulatory architecture of control is easy to expand and difficult to roll back, Cláudia Ascensão Nunes writes.

Musk and The Verification Trap: Exposing X Users to Israeli Intelligence - 21st Century Wire

Imagine waking tomorrow to discover that the anonymous account you maintained for years, where you posted criticism of Israel's bombardment of Gaza, and again in Iran, has been unmasked and profiled by a foreign intelligence service that now knows your legal name, your home address, your facial biometric data, and your family members' identities, all because you clicked a blue verification button that promised greater reach, but instead funneled your personal data and documents directly into the hands of veterans of Israel's notorious intelligence agency Unit 8200. These are the very same Israeli cyberwarfare operatives who created Pegasus spyware used to track Jamal Khashoggi before his assassination, the Lavender AI system which automatically generated kill lists of at least 37,000 Palestinians-marked for death based on their social connections, and who now, as revealed in August 2025, operate a dedicated Microsoft Azure cloud cluster storing "a million calls an hour" of Palestinian surveillance data with the explicit endorsement of Satya Nadella's executive team. The implications of this should concern everyone who uses the major social media platforms.
